That...was an odd statement. If she came on foot, why didn't she just say she walked? Unless she had some other strange method of transportation. He decided against asking what it was, but chuckled at how she seemed so excited for the ride.

"Take your time, I've got some time."

He pulled on his jacket, stretching slightly. Sighing, he glanced over at the teacher, who he was not surprised to see reaching for what appeared to be a flask hidden inside a textbook. Chuckling, he glanced over at Shiloh.

"I think the teacher's suffered enough. Let's get the fuck out of here, shall we?"

He jingled the keys slightly, smirking a bit. He glanced at her skirt for a second, then removed his jacket and tossed it to her.

"Gonna need to cover up a bit for the ride."

She shrugged slightly, successfully finding proper lids for the containers. She stood, removing their temporary covers and securing the real ones. She even took a moment to tape them shut. Better safe than sorry.

"Time? Nu-uh, I wanna get out of here."

She set the two food containers into her bag, pulling the strap over her head and settling it across her chest down to her hip.

She blinked as she caught the jacket, somewhat curious as to why it was a big deal if she was covered up or not. Well, there were public indecency laws around here....

She shrugged the jacket on, walking towards the door. She was done with this place. For today, anyway. There were officially better things to do.

Like getting to hold on to a cute guy while he gave her a ride home on a motorcycle.

Dreams really do come true~ heh.

"Let's go~" She glanced over her shoulder as she paused to open the door, throwing him a charming smile.

Today was a good day.

He double-checked to make sure he had everything before following Shiloh to the door, opening it and walking out before her, smirking at her over his shoulder slightly.

"Then hurry up."

Hands in his pockets, the dark-haired boy walked through the building and out to the parking lot, smirking slightly when he saw his precious motorcycle, in all it's glory. Whistling an old tune under his breath, he walked over to it and paused, glancing at her over his shoulder.

"Um...slight problem. My other helmet won't fit you."

Muttering a curse under his breath, he sighed before removing a black motorcycle helmet from a storage unit, holding it out to Shiloh.

"Use mine. I'll be fine without it. I've got a hard head anyways."

The red head scowled at the taller boy as she followed him out, leaving the wonderful smell of burning foods behind. She was glad to be out of the classroom and outdoors.

She really loved being outside. The wind and sky were friends to her(most of the time, anyway), and she always did take advantage of the weather to help with her running.

It suddenly dawned on her why she was taking the courses she was.

She suddenly wanted to run. Feel that wind in her hair. Steal this nice smelling jacket that was a bit too big for her and just bolt. Maybe scale that one building again--

And then she saw the bike.

Shiloh was not the kind of person who thought vehicles of any sort could be described with phrases that were usually used for people.

But this bike?

Luca's bike was downright sexy.

She followed him closer to the bike, the idea of running completely gone. Now a ride on this would really get the wind in her hair...

And then he held out the helmet.

"Nope."

She walked over to him, taking the helmet and stopping right in front of him.

"Nope."

She stood up on her tip-toes, trying to put the helmet on his head instead.

"Let me be the reckless idiot please."

Putting a helmet on someone else was annoying when they were a lot taller.

Luca couldn't help it.

He burst out laughing when he saw how Shiloh reacted to his bike. He got that kind of reaction a lot, especially from when he made that ONE trip to Tropicana. A pair of girls begged for a ride, he turned them down, and it turned out they had boyfriends. Yeah...that ended badly. He had a bruise on his back from when he got a bottle thrown at him. The guys ended up worse for wear, though. Never use a fist against a guy who has a knife.

The dark-haired boy just stared down at her as she kept refusing the helmet, trying to put it on his own head. Seriously?

"Please tell me your kidding..."

...Apparently she wasn't, judging from how she kept trying to put the damn helmet on him. Grumbling, he sighed before taking it from her and returning it to it's previous place.

"Fine. We'll both go helmet-free. Are you happy now, ragazza?"

Sighing, he slid onto the seat and started the bike. It was relatively quiet, surprisingly. Exactly how he wanted it.

"Get on and hold tight. I like to go fast."

She smiled widely as he took the helmet and put it away, stating that they'd both go helmet-less. She bounced slightly on her toes, ready to get moving.

She was almost like a child in a candy store, excitement and enthusiasm radiating off of her. Except in this case the candy store consisted of a somehow very attractive motorcycle and it's equally good looking owner.

Somewhat fortunately for her the latter thought wouldn't cross through her head until later, so sliding onto the surprisingly quiet bike wasn't an issue. In fact, the only issue that she saw was how there really wasn't a proper second seat. Which was bound to cross her thoughts later on with the aforementioned one, as she needed to basically press herself against him.

Her subconscious decided for there that there may be some interesting sequences fluttering through her mind later, but for now, as she wrapped her arms around his middle, she didn't care.

She was about to go on a ride on the most beautiful land vehicle she had ever seen. She couldn't wait.

Shiloh quickly relayed the directions to her apartment to him, pointing in the general direction of the starting point. She let her red hair down before securing her arms around him again, not too tight, and she was grinning widely.

"Can we go now???"

Oh God, Shiloh was acting like his little sister going into the pet store. And that usually ended with pictures of baby animals all over her room. Luca could practically see the excitement radiating off the red-head.

"Jeez, you're seriously hyper..."

He glanced at her over his shoulder once she got on the bike, making sure she was still somewhat covered by his jacket. Hopefully, his jacket would keep anyone behind them from seeing whatever Shiloh was hiding under her skirt.

The dark-haired boy chuckled as he felt his current GPS wrap her arms around him. Revving the engine for a moment, Luca smirked. He knew where to go, and he may or may not break the speed limit.

...Hah, speed limit. That was funny. He was half GERMAN. He had ridden on the Autobahn!

"Going? Ragazza, we're already gone. Don't let go, or you're going splat."

Smirking, he kicked the kickstand up, revved the engine one last time, and sped out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell, cutting off a- now angry- guy in a VW Beetle. Luca smirked, speeding along the streets of Rockport. This...was something he loved.

Shiloh was overflowing with excitement as she waited for him to take off. She cared nothing for her skirt or whether or not she was covered. She sometimes ended up free running after school in her skirt, and frankly, she didn't care if anyone saw anything.

In fact if there weren't laws about public indecency she might even find herself walking around shirtless. Something about the warm sun on the skin and the wind being awesome--

And suddenly there was wind.

Lots of wind as they took off, her hair whipping out behind her, just as she'd wanted. Luckily she was just short enough to avoid getting hit by Luca's ponytail.

But it was exhilarating. Everything was speeding by; a blink and buildings, intersections, everything was gone.

It was almost like flying. She wanted to let go of him and enjoy it as much as she could, but she knew better. She didn't have a proper foothold or anything to hold her in place. There was no guarantee she could stay on if she let go.

As they sped around a corner, the smile on her face grew impossibly larger. This was right up there with her free running.

She could really learn to love this.

Speeding through the busy streets, Luca smirked as the wind blew past them. He loved this feeling. Absolute freedom.

...Unless he pissed off a cop.

He took a very quick glance over his shoulder and smirked slightly before turning his attention back to the road. Shiloh seemed to be enjoying herself a hell of a lot, that was for sure.

As they sped along the route to Shiloh's place, a familiar motorcycle caught up to Luca's. Smirking, the dark-haired boy removed a hand from the handlebars and held out a fist to the other rider. With a laugh, the girl driving the motorcycle next to them bumped her fist against his before speeding off in a separate direction.

The ride was fun while it lasted, but it didn't take long until they pulled up in front of Shiloh's place. Kicking down the kickstand and shutting the bike off, Luca looked at the red-head over his shoulder.

"So, you like the ride?"

Shiloh couldn't wipe the grin off her face when they pulled up in front of her apartment building. The ride was infinitely awesome, and she could definitely see herself getting her own bike one day.

If she ever got the money.

"'Like' is probably the understatement of the century."

She slowly unwound her arms from around him, readjusting to the whole...not speeding thing. Her hair was windblown, cheeks faintly red from both the end and the general rush.... It suited her.

She sighed, relaxing for a moment before remembering that she was now home and had to get off the pretty pretty motorcycle. How not fair. It was so fun.

"Well then...." The red head slid off the bike, somewhat unsure of what to do next.

"I feel like I owe you for the ride..."

"Felt like you wanted to let go at one point. What, did you want to go flying?"

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and his trusty lighter, lighting one quickly and taking a long drag.

Why was she saying she owed him for the ride?

"Shiloh, ragazza, you don't owe me for anything. Hell, I can't think of anything I could ask you to do for me."

Exhaling some smoke into the air, he smirked at her slightly.

"Let's just go with- If I need a favor, I'll call you first. How's that for owing me something?"

"Flying? You have no idea..."

She vaguely remembered that she was technically home and stuck her hand into her bag. The good news, none of the food stuffs had opened or spilled all over her things. Now where were those keys...

I suppose that will work."

She really couldn't find her keys. Goddamnit, maybe they were in this other pouch...stupid bag. Or maybe it was stupid Shiloh for not remembering where she put her keys. If she even had them.

"Just, uh...I'm up for most favors, ya know?" Gee, that didn't sound wrong at all. "...Like, if you have legal problems, or you need somewhere to safely get drunk...I come with free booze." That sounded....better?

She finally pulled her keys out of her bag, grinning at him.

"For the record, you are free to come in if you'd like. I dunno if ya have work or anythin'..." She shrugged slightly.

"Well, if I need a favor from ya, I'll give you a call. Oh...Just realized I don't know your number."

Pulling his phone out of his pocket, he toyed with it for a moment before looking up at Shiloh and smirking slightly.

"How about we change that, ragazza?"

Free booze? Now that sounded nice. Wait...legal problems?

"Not gonna ask about the 'legal problems' bit, red. but I might take you up on the booze offer. Now, as for the invitation inside...well...I've got a little time to spare before I head to work. Am I allowed to spend a little time then?"

Shiloh rolled her eyes at him as he questioned the legal issues but grinned, shaking her head slightly. Maybe he'd find out. Maaaaybe.

"Well, mate, ya sure ain't gunna make any progress by sittin' on yer bike. ....no matter how nice it is..."

She quickly reached out and swiped his phone from his hand, spinning on her heel and heading up and into the building. She walked a bit slowly, partially so he could catch up and not lose her, partially so she could get into his phone and add herself as a contact.

She stopped in front of the elevators, hitting the button and waiting for him. There were stairs, and the third floor wasn't much of a walk, but the landlord insisted the stairs be kept clear at all times. Crazy old woman.

"Fair warning," she said as she stepped into the elevator. "The dog is a bit hyper. On the bright side, he's more likely ta lick you to death before he ever hurts ya."

She held his phone out to him again with a smile. She needed to keep in mind that he was a friend from school. She'd see him often. He was not one of those toys she would meet at a bar that she'd never see again. Don't be stupid, she thought.

She reflected on some of the day's events.

...don't do anything stupider.

Laughing a bit, he removed the keys to his motorcycle and hopped off it, Luca stretched slightly as he followed the older red-head into the apartment building, hands in his pockets. Would he get in trouble for smoking in here? Meh, he didn't give a shit.

Once he caught up to her, he smirked a bit as he took his phone out of her hand.

"I have a little sister. I can deal with a hyper dog. Am I gonna get in trouble if I smoke? Don't wanna get you kicked out."

Double checking to make sure she didn't mess with his phone, the dark-haired boy pocket the phone and smirked at her as they waited for the elevator.

"Why aren't we taking the stairs, exactly?"

Okay, going to an older woman's place. No problem. Not like she was gonna do anything out of line, right?
