Midterm exams for the first semester of Yumegawa's school year! Come one, come all! ...If you have a high school student character, that is. Pff, who doesn't. Here's the deal: for now I'm doing this in vaguely the same way as our neighbor forum, Persona Rebirth. In two weeks' time (realtime), I'm going to hack together a list of test rankings for each homeroom (just for the PCs whose players enter them in this thread). All you all need to do is write a little thing--it doesn't have to be a novella or anything, just a thing--on your character's school performance, listing out the following:
- Character name, which school the character's in, and which year (so I don't have to painstakingly double-check your individual profiles six hundred times).
- Attendance failures, if applicable.
- Study habits, both good and bad.
- In-class habits--are they attentive, do they zone out or sleep in class, do they ask questions or answer them right? What about their classwork/homework completion?
- Which class is their best class? Which classes do they do particularly poorly in? And finally, do they do good, bad, or average in the majority of their classes?
The end result of all this will be a list of player character class rankings for the midterms. These are for in-universe flavortext/roleplay purposes only and have no actual benefits or disadvantages in terms of Persona-related stuff or whatever. Don't go making your characters super-smart and awesome at classes for the sake of being better than other characters--not only is that poor writing, it's also something we'll probably notice and not be amused by. Try to portray your character as honestly, realistically, and in-character as you can with regards to this.
You can format it any which way you want as long as all the above listed information is organized conveniently (read: separately, and clearly labeled). For all intents and purposes this exam run is a test of the waters--if it goes good, the next ones might be run the same way, if not, we may try something different when first semester final exams roll around.
Well, have at it, guys.
---
And here are all of mine:
Tenshihishou Kids:
Kana Rena - 3-C Attendance: Goes to school every day, even when sick (also, responsibly wears a surgical mask with kitten patterns when sick). Attends the full school-day and all classes, and attends her clubs regularly with only one or two hiccups. Study Habits: Does a token amount of before-bed studying as much to get herself un-amped-up as to actually study. Sometimes skips studying if she's particularly exhausted. Even during exam week she's not particularly diligent, simply expanding her nighttime study sessions and spending her club time on relaxation activities; she doesn't get particularly excited or stressed when exams approach, figuring she'll do well enough anyway. In-Class Habits: Actually fairly attentive and turns in all work on-time, if not necessarily at the best quality level, but sometimes lets her mind wander during class, usually to some boy she's crushing on or to her latest and greatest prank idea. Class Performance: Kana doesn't have any classes she does particularly well in. She's a bit below the average in math and a bit above the average in language but not far enough above or below to really say any of them stand out, and you probably wouldn't be able to tell with a casual look at her test scores.
Ito Katsu - 3-G Attendance: Study Habits: Often juggles studying in bite-sized increments with her online-browsing activities, employing search engines liberally in combination with her textbooks. During exam week, she becomes quite obsessive about studying any subject she's not confident about. In-Class Habits: Keeps her head down, listens, answers quietly when a teacher picks her out to answer Class Performance: While terribly low on visible class participation chops, Ito performs reasonably well in all subjects except P.E., since information retention is second nature to her. None of her classes fall below the average besides PE, which she barely scrapes by in, and her science and language classes are so easy to her she only feels the need to do a small amount of "cushion studying."
Kenshin Nakadachi - 3-B Attendance: Occasionally skips his classes when stressed, which unfortunately has almost been his default state since moving to Yumegawa, but avoids doing so too often to evade criticism from his sister. Study Habits: Doesn't study terribly much except when exams are on the way, at which point he tries to cram and only manages a kind of awkward half-cram between bouts of procrastination. In-Class Habits: Pays attention... sort of. Turns in most of his homework, sometimes getting assignments he missed on his delinquent days from classmates later on. Class Performance: Not terribly good with math. Used to also suck ass at English, but then Kyo came along and he was suddenly quite a lot more genuinely interested in it, and still is to this day--bumping his performance there up from "terrible" to "acceptable."
-
Kasuhayashi Kids:
Hisoka Kamishita - 2-1 Attendance: Perfect. Pristine. Always there, always attends her clubs. Study Habits: While she appears outwardly to be a model student, Hisoka actually has great difficulty focusing on studying while she's alone, as the temptation to drift off and either read or play videogames is strong. She sometimes arranges occasional group studies as exams approach to counteract this, and can usually be found pouring over her textbooks in the school library after classes in the pre-exam days. In-Class Habits: Always attentive. As long as she's in class or in a group-effort, she has no problems keeping on-task. All of her work is usually turned in on-time and her teachers generally see her as one of the students that turns in reliably good work. Class Performance: Does almost effortlessly well in all classes except science and math, which she often needs to ask for help from fellow classmates for. Her PE performance is better than you'd expect from her reserved "girly" appearance.
Haruka Kamishita - 2-3 Attendance: Very, very rarely skips school, and only when she can get away with it and not have her grandparents find out--although her sister usually grills her for it later. Stopped skipping school ever since she became Ryu Siyoku's girlfriend. Study Habits: Lax, lax, lax, although she's been putting in effort to study more during her spare time since meeting Ryu; she isn't exactly ignorant to the fact that she'd need to be able to support him if they last that long. In-Class Habits: Actually does pay a fair amount of attention in class, mainly because she's stuck there and has nothing better to focus on unless she's distracted by a particularly hot guy. Actively avoids daydreaming in class since her daydreams can get... imaginative. Attends Sly Fox Association only when absolutely necessary. Class Performance: HOW DO I GEOGRAPHY.
Ryoko Yamazaki - 3-6 Attendance: Spotty as a hundred and one dalmatians and a few cheetahs to boot. She cuts class as often as she can without being held back for it. Study Habits: She actually does some studying at home, asking classmates what subjects she missed so she can glance over the topics at home and still know whatever it is that'll be on the test. (That's the theory, anyway. Results are inconclusive.) In-Class Habits: She'll at least look like she's paying attention, but both her eyes and her attention wander--usually either to the window or to some other girl's legs. Class Performance: When she hasn't missed some vital lesson by accident, she does about average in her classes. Sometimes she winds up having to turn in homework a day late. As for clubs, she only attends Sly Fox Association when absolutely necessary.

Daijiro Inoue School: Tenshihishou Class 3-C Attendance: Daijiro is usually found at school unless either he or his younger sister fall ill. Study habits: Daijiro tends to do yoga before studying and a few other brain exercises. That said his mind has the habit of wandering more often than he'd like to admit. In-class habits: Daijiro is quiet and attentive in class. He also usually refrains from answering questions unless specifically called upon to do so. His class and homework is rather offensively average in terms of completion. Best/Worst/Majority score in Class: Daijiro does quite well in Modern Literature while falling flat in Calculus. The majority of his class marks fall on the 'average' bar at a rather ridiculous rate.
Daichi Nakamura School: Tenshihishou Class 2-C Attendance: He can usually be found getting to class on time! Getting into Tenshihishou was hard enough, he better keep up a good track record. Study habits: The brain is just another muscle that must be rigorously worked into glorious shape! That said, he isn't doing all that well with the anxiety caused by Mask. In-class habits: Usually, Daichi is sat in the middle of the classroom and avoids fraternization. As stated above however, his anxiety is causing his attention to be flighty and spotty at best. Best/Worst/Majority Score in Class: Daichi doesn't particularly excel in any class. He does do quite well in PE, given the natural state of his working out and all.
Daisuke Kato School: Kasuhayashi Class 1-2 Attendance: Never misses a day, under any circumstance. Study habits: STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! Daisuke cuts a portion off his day away to sealing himself in his room to studying and only studying fervently until it's time for bed. On Sunday's he also studies when he wakes up. In-class habits: Daisuke sits at the very front of the class, hands laced together and eyes rapt with attention. If and when called on, he'll answer clearly for everyone in class to hear the answer, it helps that he's correct. Best/Worst/Majority Score in Class: There is no worst for Daisuke, there is only something that he's done marginally less great at. The combination of studying every day and a high drive have given Daisuke the ability to receive consistently high marks across the board.

Name: Yoko Fukui School And Class: Kasuhayashi High. Year 1, Class 7.
- Attendance is mostly good. She's had at least one medical emergency that kept her out for a few weeks and at least one unexcused absence for the second half of one day.
- Yoko attends cram school at least three times a week, and every Sunday two weeks before a major exam. She also tries to study at least 5 hours totaled a week.
- In class, Yoko is very attentive and often asks questions. When she's called upon to answer her own questions, she manages to mostly answer them correctly. She does her best to complete all assignments in class and homework on time.
- Her best subject is Composition, she does very poorly in math. That said? Despite her hard work she's still got considerable gaps at critical points in her education. Overall Yoko tests rather poorly.
Name: Hayate Goto School And Class: Kaushayashi High. Year 1, Class 7.
- Even when he didn't care much, it was less of a pain to just show up than skip like some delinquent. That hasn't changed lately. Interestingly, he's been gone for an entire week and refuses to explain why. At the recommendation of Miss Sakai the matter seems closed.
- Goto never used to study, and even now it's not any more appealing now that he's starting to apply himself. He gets three hours a week, two hours is focused on his weakest subjects while a single hour is spent as a 'refresher' on his stronger subjects.
- He's paying attention and applying himself for once. He even asks questions when he doesn't quite follow something. He can count the number of times he's answered a question asked by a teacher wrong on one hand, though that likely has more to do with luck than anything else. Classwork and Homework are boring, but gotta do what you gotta do: Rarely is he late with either.
- Goto's best at English, His weakest subject is science. Overall? He does well. He's no longer just sailing though classes without much effort at least.
Name: Kagura Matsumoto School And Class: Tenshishi High School. Year 2, Class D.
- Miss a class?! What?! They'd get mad at you for that! She's had to be excused from class once to go to the nurses office for anxiety. She's resolved not to go back.
- Kagura does great on her own. Unfortunately classrooms are not the same thing as being tutored one on one. She listens but she says nothing and hasn't had the confident to ask a question even when she needs to. She was asked a question once (see the need to go to the nurse's office for anxiety.) Group assignments are rough for Kagura, homework and assignments are no big deal for her otherwise.
- Kagura's got excellent study habits. Ni no small part by her parents insisting on nothing less than the best and taking a firm hand in shaping her home study habits. Two hours of studying a night, every night, no exceptions. Despite this, she has a tendency to cram before tests and doesn't get enough rest.
- Kagura's excels in History, Composition's hard for her. Overall she's a good student, but tests somewhat poorly.
Added to NS's post by request due to this character being apped a bit late in the exam period:
Name: Mari Ichinose School And Class: Kasuhayashi High. Year 2, Class 6.
- Mari has had no attendance issues lately. The last time she had to excuse herself from class was a family emergency early in her first year.
- Mari pushes Hibiki and Kotone into good study habits and assists them with their weaker subjects. She especially makes sure Hibiki is not goofing off. It is somewhat telling that she devotes two hours nightly making sure her younger siblings study well and an hour to an hour and a half for herself. This is doubled to three ours on Sundays and at least two hours a night when a major exam is coming up.
- Mari has good, attentive focus in class. She is not afraid to answer questions about things she does not quite follow and she answers nearly all questions correctly when called upon. Her assignment completion's a somewhat spotty 80% though.
- Mari's strongest subject is math, she struggles somewhat with English. She performs well under pressure so she does overall well on all subjects but English, where she at least regularly avoids being in the bottom 10 with some difficulty.

Yuudai Wakahisa - Tenshihishou, Class 3-A Attendance: Attends every class, unless ill or otherwise forced not to Study Habits: Sometimes does an hour on weekends. Occasionally does twenty-minute sessions of re-reading notes during weekdays. In-Class Habits: Pays attention half the time, rarely gets asked questions (getting them right sometimes) and never offers to answer questions, completes most classwork to an average standard and does enough homework to not get in trouble for it typically at a just below average standard. Subjects: History is his best class by quite a bit, mathematics is his worst by a large amount. Generally average to just below average in the majority of his classes.
Momoko Akamori - Kasuhayashi High School, 2-4 Attendance: Skips class on a semi-regular basis, but always attends literature. Study Habits: Doesn't study. In-Class Habits: Pays attention the majority of the time, never offers to answer questions but when asked answers them right more than half the time. Completes classwork usually to a decent standard, rarely does homework but when she does it is usually to a decent standard. Subjects: Literature is her best subject, but no subject stands out as her worst. However, this is because most of her teachers consider her a poor student more than her being decent at every subject.
Norio Akamori - Kasuhayashi High, Class 1-1 Attendance: Attends class without fail, unless forced not to. Study Habits: Spends a lot of time re-reading and re-writing notes, as well as categorising them in manners that make sense for future revision. He enjoys it. In-Class Habits: Always pays attention, offers to answer questions nearly all the time and answers them right the majority of the time. Always completes classwork to a good standard, always hands in homework to a good standard. Subjects: The sciences are his best subjects, art is his worst. Overall considered a very good student.

Shinichi Kawazoe, Tenshihishou Class 3E Attendance: Attends all classes unless sick. Study Habits: In addition to studying for 2 hours every Wednesday and Friday, he makes recordings of himself reading out his class notes and puts the MP3s onto his music player so he can study on the go. Subjects: Good with geometry, but his English leaves a lot to be desired.
Hiroko Tachibana, Tenshihishou Class 3C Attendance: Attends all classes unless sick. Study Habits: Studies for a half hour everyday except Sundays. Studies for a full hour on Sundays. Subjects: Pretty average all-around, but his grade in science is slightly higher than the others.
Ayaka Higashi, Tenshihishou Class 2C Attendance: Attends all classes unless sick. Study Habits: Studies for an hour after school. In-Class Habits: Has a tendency to daydream in class, does ask questions whenever she's paying attention. Subjects: Excels in Phys Ed and History. Good student, doesn't test well.
Damian Callaghan, Kasuhayashi Class 2-4 Attendance: Skips at least once a month. Study Habits: Studies for 1 hour every Monday and Thursday. In-Class Habits: Doesn't often pay attention in class, but he can remember things quickly so when he gets asked a question in class he usually manages to get it right. He does ask questions often. Ayumu Yamamoto, Kasuhayashi Class 2-1 Attendance: Attends all classes unless sick Study Habits: Studies for an hour five days a week, crams before tests. In-Class Habits: Struggles with paying attention in class. Dozes off a lot and has to ask other people to let him copy their notes. Subjects: Does poorly in Composition, does well in algebra. Doesn't test well.
Naoki Ikeda, Kasuhayashi Class 2-3 Attendance: Attends all classes, even when sick. Wears a surgical mask on sick days. Study Habits: Studies for an hour every day. Daniel Jaworsky, Tenshihishou High, Class 3-C Attendance: Never skips any classes, unless he's sick. If he feels capable of it, he'll still come anyways. Study Habits: Re-reads his daily notes every night, and studies for about half a hour. He studies for two hours every Sunday afternoon. In-Class Habits: Pays attention nearly all the time, but doesn't ask many questions. He'll generally answer the questions he gets asked right. Subjects: He has no real, glaring weaknesses when it comes to subjects - and does generally above-average -, but his grades in science are his weakest (they're not bad, just average).
Natsumi Aizawa, Tenshihishou High, Class 3-B Attendance: Never skips, ever. Even if she's feeling tired or ill. Studying is serious business. Study Habits: One hour every night, plus three hours every Sunday - one hour in the morning, two in the afternoon. Sometimes reads her notes again while lying down in bed, but has the rule of not studying the day before any big test or exam, as she feels that it builds up unnecessary stress and can confuse oneself. In-Class Habits: Pays attention, but doesn't ask many questions - she answers them well when asked, however. She's not perfect, of course, and can sometimes start sketching if she feels the lesson is redundant or poorly-explained. Subjects: Natsumi's does very well in most of her classes - she's pretty much a model student. Her worst subject is PE (in which she's merely decent) and her best is math.
MASAYOSHI HORIYAMA, Kasuhayashi High, Class 3-4 Attendance: Skips class on a semi-regular basis, when his buddies are doing it as well. Basically never gets sick, and has shown up with the remains of a buzz a certain number of times. Study Habits: Pffffffffhahaha. Only studies when his parents manage to coax him into it, and when the weather's too shitty to reasonably go outside. In-Class Habits: Pays a cursory amount of attention, mostly because he doesn't find the other happenings in the average classroom all that interesting. Actually listens quite closely in history class. Teachers have essentially given up on asking him any questions. Subjects: He aces the hell out of PE, of course, and manages to get decent-ish grades in history (because he actually kind of likes the subject). The rest of his grades are on the more mediocre side of average, and his worst subject is math.

Tenshihishou High School
Naoko Hayashi, 3-A
- Perfect attendance outside of club field trips and extenuating circumstances.
- Naoko’s study style stresses building a comprehensive knowledge base. She looks over her most recent notes as soon as she's able to on the day and also looks over older notes on a per-week basis, meaning that she reads all of the notes she's taken over the course of the week at Saturday evenings. If she wants to look further back, catch specifics, or freshen her memory for Monday, she looks over her notes on Sunday and does supplementary reading/exercises if she feels the need or is compelled by the interest. She attends cram school one day a week on Friday and she can be seen studying for entrance-exam-specific stuff early on in the week when her casual note-reading is at its lightest. Nearly never pulls all-nighters or crams because she tackles her work and study quickly.
- Naoko's comprehension and memory retention are fairly high, especially given the opportunity to write notes or do tangible things (lab work, calculations, etc.). She's always focused in class, though she has a relatively passive role in class discussion and the like, owing to her noticing that other people usually go silent when she talks and only being self-aware enough to note the trend. She'll speak up enough, but is fairly quiet and no-nonsense through class.
- All-around an exemplary, hardworking student, with cumulative subjects such as science and mathematics coming easiest to her. She's got natural intuition that plays well into her academic study and makes up for her soft spots, particularly in English through devoting a lot of time in getting stuff right: she studies and practices English with online language coaches and just with family in the house and she's done well enough that her English is only slightly affected. Testing doesn't give her pressure and she's able to do quite well, though she checks her work thoroughly regardless.
Mashiro Touzakaru, 3-B
- Sees no reason to skip school under normal circumstances, but is willing to miss some class if there's something she deems more important or interesting.
- Mashiro picks and chooses with what she studies whenever able. Having plenty of friends, she has heard plenty about the way that teachers write their tests, general complaints and advice on how to handle them, and generally what to expect, both from the entrance exams and from her teachers. She studies to the test over time, memorizing what she needs for what's immediately present and getting a good enough grasp on anything she views as "secondary" that she can pick up details when reading closer. Overall, she studies considerably less than academically-oriented people and crams as insurance on a test.
- Mashiro always pays attention in class both to content and to delivery—parsing what teachers stress and favor from their attitude, assessments, homework assignments—and figuring out what she needs to focus most on from that information. When cheating talk comes up in conversation, she’ll shut it down immediately, but if she happens to overhear something with no one noticing her eavesdropping, then that’s another advantage for her to press.
- Being a good tester, Mashiro isn’t so much concerned with processing raw knowledge as much as what worth knowledge has within the context of a test. She’s got background information enough that she can go in cold and do passably okay playing logic games, so when taking her specialized studying into her account, she is able to do well all across the board. History is her strongest academic subject—her only real standout—and mathematics is her weakest. Mashiro deals with fill-in-the-blank, analysis, and multiple choice questions fairly easily and is most likely to lose points on free-response, particularly where depth of answer is required.

Akane Suzume - Tenshihishou, Class 1-C
- Attendance: Attends all classes and clubs unless seriously ill. Wears a mask if ill- she wouldn't want anyone else catching it!
- Study Habits: Studying? That thing you do the day before a test? She only studies for a few days before a test, but tends to put serious effort into it. It's still cramming though, however you look at it. She will look things up if she gets really lost with homework.
- In-class Habits: Her attention span usually results in her not paying full attention to the class, though she still absorbs some things from it. Her homework is usually done to a reasonable standard, but can be sometimes rushed.
- Subjects: Fairly good with Japanese but falls behind in anything involving maths or science.
Yuuki Sato - Tenshihishou, Class 3-B
- Attendance: Attends school with as few days off as possible.
- Study Habits: Studies extensively at home, several hours per day. Before exams nothing in particular changes and she continues with her usual routine unless she feels behind in the subject, in which case she would spend some more time on it.
- In-Class habits: Doesn't pay much attention in class, preferring to study at home. Hands in homework on time, if to a sub-standard quality, having not put much effort into it.
- Subjects: The sciences, in particular chemistry. She also does well in Home economics. She doesn't do particularly well in English or P.E.
Kasumi Mori - Kasuhayashi, Class 3-3
- Attendance: Kasumi attends regular classes unless something occurs, such as illness. Makes as many club meetings as possible.
- Study Habits: Studies for at least half an hour a day at her parents' prompting, sometimes studies more if she can't think of anything else to do. Studies more before any tests.
- In-Class Habits: Pays a reasonable amount of attention in class, her attention sometimes wanders slightly. Answers questions given to the best of her ability and is willing to stay behind to check if she doesn't understand some of the material. Makes her own notes and re-reads them. Completes homework fairly well and punctually
- Subjects: Does surprisingly well with English. Not the best at Maths though.
Alva Dahl - Kasuhayashi, Class 2-4
- Attendance: Attends most of her classes, but has a tendency to sneak off if she gets bored, even if it just means going to the roof for an hour. Attends all club meetings when she's in school.
- Study Habits: Spends half an hour a day studying Japanese and half an hour ever two studying something else. Doesn't cram any particular subject beforehand.
- In-Class Habits: Pays some attention in class- she's there, might as well. Answers questions reasonably well, but doesn't put any effort into detailing them. Homework is completed on time... mostly, being good enough to not redo it, but still not exactly great.
- Subjects: English is by far her best subject, having been speaking it fluently for a large part of her life. Japanese history? Yeaaaaah no, she knows quite possibly the least in her class and she doesn't attempt to change that.
Makoto Himura - Tenshihishou, Class 2-C
- Attendance: Attends all lessons, though turns up late for P.E.
- Study Habits: Studies for an hour or more per day, re-writes notes in a more concise format when she understands the material better.
- In-Class Habits: Pays close attention to the lesson and takes notes. Answers any questions directed at her to the best of her ability and will stay behind if she needs to check up on something. Homework is completed both on time and to a high standard.
- Subjects: Excels in Mathematics. Not particularly good in P.E. or Home Ec.
Yui Yamada - Tenshishou, Class 1-B
- Attendance: Attends unless there's serious reason not to; illness, serious injury and the like.
- Study Habits: Studies half an hour per weekday and an hour a day at the weekend. Some of it ends up being daydreaming or her being distracted, but for the most part she does study hard- especially in the weeks leading up to tests, what kind of idiot do you take her for?
- In-Class Habits: Pays attention during class, attempts to avoid being asked anything directly. Completes homework on time for the most part, but it could be of better quality.
- Subjects: Tends to do better in creative subjects and Japanese than in more Science based subjects.

Kira Kameko - Tenshihishou Class 3-C
- Attendance: Currently perfect, Kira has yet to miss a day this year, having buried herself in her studies early on before events forced her to be more social. She does not skip classes or club, as much as she might be tempted to skip kendo at times.
- Study Habits: Kira takes a short break after returning home before doing her homework, which she takes her time with and double checks to make sure everything is in order. Her overachieving nature normally lends itself well to study, but the recent stress of kendo club, combined with her introduction to the persona issues has meant less time for it. She also doesn't do much studying outside of homework and what's given to her to do in class; limited to occasionally going through her notes or reviewing her old work, and cramming the week before a test.
- Class Behavior: Kira pays attention in class, taking notes to summarize the basics of whatever she's learned and remind herself of any bits she thinks she might forget. She is quick to volunteer or answer questions when called upon and has a decent memory for details. However, like her study habits, her classroom conduct has taken a hit from stress and distractions. Not to the extent of falling asleep at school or showing up late, but enough that she has been blanking on answers and losing her train of thought while trying to listen to the teacher. It was noticeable enough that the school has noticed, though as her club mates' fervor has dulled and the situation sunk in, it's slowly improving.
- Subjects: Kira is fairly well-rounded, doing mostly average across the board, excellently in history, but struggling at times with hard science to the point she has to dedicate extra time to it to keep up with her other subjects. English being her second language from a young age probably manages to be her best subject, and things that can be gathered from common sense or intuition tend to come easy to her... sometimes. If nothing else, she's decent enough at filling in the gaps in her knowledge by deduction, where possible.
Paula Fujimoto - Kasuhayashi Class 3-4
- Attendance: Paula's attendance is fairly good, though there are times where she has woken up late due to working overtime the night before, and thus she has a few spots. She doesn't skip, however, taking school attendance seriously despite her blunders.
- Study Habits: Paula's approach to studying is to write everything down and reread it later, though her poor organization skills means she easily loses track of some details or otherwise has to stop and start again. Her homework in itself tends to be worse than her in-class work, and the fact she has both a part time job and a time-consuming hobby means she does not study as well as she should off campus, relying mostly on what she learns in class. Her sole saving grace in this department is her ability to pick up new things quickly with a fine eye for detail and an excellent memory, and experience investigating fads and trends.
- Class Behavior: Paula manages to be very attentive in class, perhaps the only time of day she isn't distracted by the nuances of human interaction. Without distraction or more pressing matters, her talents as a good listener helps compensate for her poor home studies and full schedule. That said, the occasional mumble or private conversation in class that reaches her ears, when not caught by the teacher, will pull her focus away briefly.
- Subjects: Paula's favored class is home economics, and she is a surprisingly good hand at science and history, due to the overlap with her desire to study human nature and her enjoyment of practical knowledge, though math is a very poor subject for her. She otherwise struggles a little, though of note her English is decent enough, and any overlap between a subject and past fads can give her a surprise edge as she pulls from memory details about that fad.

Tatsuya Imamura - Kasuhayashi Class 3-1
- Has perfect attendance, as his mother would kill him if she found out he was absent.
- He hardly studies unless a test is nearby, in which case he crams a little bit.
- Not very attentive in class. Finds most of the subjects boring. On rare occasions, he'll even fall asleep. In regards to classwork: if he's awake, he'll at least attempt it. As for homework, he attempts all of it, as leaving home without doing his homework would also worry his mother. However, the moment he comes across something he's stuck on, he gives up.
- Physical Education would be his best class. He's really below average in everything else, especially Math and Science. Might be better if he put some actual effort in, but for now he's pretty bad.
Takeko Nakayama - Tenshihishou Class 1-B
- Perfect Attendance, only misses school if she's sick.
- Studies for 45 minutes every school day, and an hour and a half on Sunday. Sometimes gives up early if she gets completely swamped with English.
- Attentive in class, and answers questions occasionally, unless it's English. If it's English, she doesn't like to answer, as she's embarrassed by her lack of skills in it. When it comes to classwork and homework, she tries her best to complete it.
- Her best class would be Home Economics. She's about average on most of her subjects, and a bit above average on history. Her worst subject is English, in which she's moderately below average.
