Name: Seiji Tayama Age: 20 Gender: Male School/Occupation: Actor Clubs: N/A Interests/Hobbies: Film and theater, and to some extent, music and literature. Also has a thing with tea. Appearance: Seiji is at least passably handsome, in a generic, inoffensive, non-threatening, one-size-fits-all, vanilla kind of way, with a gently sun-kissed complexion, almond-shaped eyes and a neatly trimmed haircut, which maintains its natural dark brown color just as often as not. He has a face and a built that lends itself very well to costume and make-up, in that it’s just uncharacteristic enough to be easily tweaked into something else and just becoming enough to make it look good when needed. He would be rather tall if he actually stood up straight, which is not a given for him. Personality: Genuine human interaction is not one of Seiji’s strong points. He has a tendency to avoid eye-contact and doesn’t usually speak unless spoken to, and then only in a small voice and a cadence sprinkled with ellipses, pauses, uhm’s and er’s. His mannerisms may bring to mind a sad, nervous puppy: docile and more prone to either run away or let himself be told what to do than take initiative or god forbid even assertive. Basically, he’s a withering little wallflower and a complete pushover: Meek, unassuming, withdrawn, quiet and entirely unimpressive. Unless of course, you push him onto a stage and a script in his hands, give him a cue, and let the acting commence. Once Seiji is given a character, any character, to slip into, he is able to easily tune himself out and tune them in, effectively turning himself off and become the character. Combined with his proneness at following orders, he is usually able to give a director, and subsequently an audience, exactly what they want. History: As an all-around unremarkable boy, Seiji had an all-around unremarkable childhood, growing up in an all-around unremarkable family in an all-around unremarkable environment. He was the middle son of three boys, and his brothers from either side managed to transcend him in one way or another from an early age. Overshadowed by his older brother, who was intelligent and fiercely talented in many fields, and outshone by his younger brother, who was athletic and dashingly good-looking , Seiji always tended to get stuck in, well…the middle, being average. His grades were on a rather consistent wavelength of adequacy, he wasn’t particularly popular, and most of the time he simply kind of faded into the background, becoming part of the masses of mediocrity. At first, when he was but a critter, Seiji used to try and stand out despite his undistinguished decentness, attempting to compensate for his lack of excellence by basically being a very loud, off-the-wall, strange little kid. This didn’t exactly work out in a very positive manner, and he was very quickly told from all sides to just stop it already and act normal for goodness’ sake, in the face of which Seiji’s backbone proved to be less than resilient, and his attempts at boisterousness and presence were stomped out very efficiently, as Seiji quietly went back to being the unassuming, unremarkable child he was clearly meant to be. Thus, he went through most of his childhood more or less entirely unnoticed by the world, turning to escapism in the form of books and movies and the occasional theater piece. He was slowly starting to get used to the idea when one day in high school, one of his brothers decided it would be funny to sign him up for theater auditions and subsequently tricking him onto the stage. To absolutely everyone’s amazement, not least of all his own, the anticipated deer-in-the-headlights reaction lasted only for a second before suddenly, Seiji actually started to act. He became focused, read the script, and said his lines. There was a pause, the scouters asked him to do it once more with a few pointers, he did, and he was picked for the role. A few years in the Drama Club and a few auditions in the double digits later, Seiji was actually scouted by a TV company, and is currently starring in a medium-budget, gloriously hammy sentai-like show besides some other projects. Weapons/Equipment/Combat Skill: Seiji knows how to pretend to fight, but…for the real stuff, you’re going to have to ask a stuntman. Initial Persona: A clown-like marionette with a whitened face and a single tear painted on its cheek, wearing a wide white blouse and pantaloons and a black skullcap. - Name: Pierrot - Arcana: The Moon - Drain: Light - Reflect: - Null: - Resist: - Weak: Fire, Ice, Wind - Initial Skills: Tentafaroo, Mahama Edited by Fluffy, Jun 10 2013, 09:20 AM.
