Name: Natsuki Kimura (夏樹 木村)

Age: 17 (Birthday: July 5)

Gender: Male

School/Occupation: Tenshihishou, 3-C.

Clubs: None.

Interests/Hobbies: Video games (Namely shooters, RPGs, MMOs, psychological horror, arcade), movies (Action adventure esp superhero and fantasy, the occasional horror film, and B movies he can make fun of), pop music, dancing, singing, dancing and singing at the same time (usually ends with him quitting halfway through the song).

Appearance: This is the dork you're looking for. Natsuki is 5'6" and on the skinny side, lacking definable muscles but not exactly bony. His eyes are a deep blue, and his hair is black, parted over his left eye. It is longer in the front than it is in the back, and covers most of his right eye. He gets very red when he blushes, and this is a source of embarrassment for him. He wears his uniform properly; tie done right, shirt tucked in, jacket usually closed. In casual clothing, he likes striped shirts, jeans, sneakers, trendy jackets/sweaters/cardigans, and sweaters that can be zipped up all the way and have designs on the hoodies.

Personality: Outwardly, Natsuki seems shy, reserved, and sometimes unenthusiastic, and can be socially awkward because of this. He likes people well enough, but is very careful with who he befriends. The reason he puts up such a facade is because when he blushes, he turns very, very red. Whether he's short of breath, laughing, or just extremely happy, his face turns varying shades of red that are usually noticeable. This is a source of embarrassment for Natsuki, and he has long since learned to control his emotions. However, most of the time he will go overboard in trying to calm himself down, and will look flat-out emotionless. There are rare times when his grip on his emotions will slip, but those are far and few in between. Due to his firm hold on his thoughts, he is good at keeping his cool in stressful situations, to a degree. He is a pessimist when it comes to social interaction, believing that his presence in a group will not make a difference.

Around his friends he will loosen up, slowly but gradually, and will treat them more warmly than he does other people. He has a habit of putting his hand up to his face when he smiles, laughs, or otherwise feels that he is in a situation where he will blush. He will often make jokes and quips that relate to movies and games, though more often than not he only cares that he's found his own jokes funny. He cares a lot about his friends' wellbeing, often putting them before him, and has a tendency to pay attention to details he notices about them, such as their favorite TV series, what flavor ice cream they don't like, or even if they need a new pair of shoes because theirs are worn out. As of late, this has also come to include whether or not they are injured and trying to hide it.

Underneath the facade, Natsuki is a bit of a dork. He does a lot of silly, unproductive things, such as playing video games when he should be doing homework, or saving up his money just so he can spend it on frivolous things. He loves to sing and dance to (usually pop) songs that he likes at the time, though this only occurs when he's alone in his room. He's pretty okay at both separately, and has built up quite a bit of stamina due to this. He's too shy to sing/dance in public though, but might do so in private around his very close friends. He's fairly good at speaking English, due to his foreign relatives, but not so good at writing and reading. More than anything, he just wants a friend he'll feel comfortable being himself around when hanging out in real life.

History: Natsuki comes from a relatively affluent family, thanks to his father's job as...some sort of computer programmer. He's not sure. As a little kid in grade school, he got teased for blushing so hard, and looked like a tomato on a daily basis. Sometimes, he would even get nosebleeds because of his blush, which earned him a title as a "gross kid". Even teachers would poke fun at him, which got him even more upset. Ever since then, he taught himself to keep his emotions (and his face) under wraps, keeping himself calm enough so that he won't ever blush in public again. Unfortunately for him, the teasing persisted in middle school, and only died down in High School. By that time, he had withdrawn into video games and movies, and most of the friends he had were online, so he never really had anyone to talk to in real life. He moved with his parents to Yumegawa for his father's job, and is hoping to make a fresh start.

Weapons/Equipment/Combat Skill: Stab stab slice slice. Natsuki uses two identical short blades that were gifts from an uncle of his. He has absolutely no combat skill, only whatever he's seen on his computer screen.

Initial Persona: Dat dragon, yo.

Bakunawa is an old Filipino entity, a water dragon who leapt from the oceans to eat the moon, causing eclipses. It often looks at all objects but Natsuki with a hungry glint in its eye, as if it is ready to swallow them whole. It is very protective of the moon he is summoned with, almost always coiled around it. It can be very aggressive, but recoils when clanging sounds are made. It enjoys stargazing. Specifically moongazing. It cannot communicate with Natsuki using words, but regardless the two can sense what the other feels.

Roleplay Sample:
Natsuki woke up in the middle of the night, his stomach growling in protest. He gave a large yawn and sat up, disoriented. He looked around, unfamiliar with his surroundings, but then relaxed once he realized where he was.

What a weird dream, he thought. His stomach growled, taking precedence, and he let out a soft sigh and stretched, realizing that he was still in his school uniform due to the pressure put on his back because of the way his jacket was cut. As he took it off and hastily changed into dark blue sweats and a t-shirt, he thought about the surreal events from his dream. It was startling how lucidly he could remember the horror of those monsters, what had transpired in the bathroom, what it had felt like to ride on the back of that dragon, Bakunawa. The events were so clear, but he was convinced it was a dream. It was too surreal to happen in real life, not to mention he didn’t remember how he’d gotten there. He was pretty sure that, at the part with the dragon, he had realized it wasn’t actually happening. It explained how he’d managed to deal with the rest of that fiasco so well, at any rate. He would never have been able to face a real life dragon so calmly in real life.

But then, by that line of logic, he could be dreaming right now, too. He didn’t remember how he’d gotten home, which was probably the most worrying thing. The growling of his stomach caught his attention again, and he zipped up his loose jacket before quietly rushing to the kitchen, finding that his mom had saved him some leftovers. It didn’t need reheating, luckily for him since he had no desire to use the microwave so late at night when it could wake others up. As he sat down and devoured the leftovers, he got back to thinking about his dream…if it really was one, that was. Perhaps it was just that it had been such an unreal dream that had left real emotions, but when he closed his eyes he could see the door of the bathroom, thumping away against the lock. He was, much to his horror, beginning to wonder if the dream really was just that.

Regular old dialogue is supposed to be spoken in Japanese 'cause this RP takes place in the land of the rising sun, don'tchaknow.
