When I take a break/procrastinate, I do a little side work into my new blog. I've had the domain name for literally over a year (registered on January 9th, 2010) just because, and I've decided to put it to use.

It's basically gonna be a personal blog oriented towards GMod and HL2. I'm not saying it'll be very active, clearly I don't have much time for it, but I'm gonna try to do things differently. Having a team didn't work on EFM, nor was the name very catchy. "Metrocop" is easy to recognize.

Plus the appearance is much better, I think. Take a look:

What do you think? There'll be more in that menu, but it's still just a work in progress anyway. Give me feedback on the looks and share any ideas, if you want.

But, in all seriousness, it's a very pretty thing you got there.

I used the Mystique layout. Turns out it's way more flexible than I thought. I had this idea a year ago to make a background using one of HL2's building textures, so I did.

You mean you are surprised that the Mystique-layout is flexible in appearance? Wow.
I sometimes used (past tense, no longer got it installed) F.E.A.R. textures in Blender Renders... mostly because Blender can open DDS natively, but it makes for beautiful renders with the normal map, specular map, and so on. I figure that this, in carefully chosen amounts, could actually make your background look even better. Normal and Specular maps, I mean. Not F.E.A.R. textures.

Probably, but I prefer to use the original texture unaltered, just to give that perfect Half-Life 2 feeling.
