Name: Rath Species: Absol Appearance: With a more monochrome coloration than most Absol, if you look hard enough you can see scars buried under his dense fur, covering his entire body. Gender: Male Age: 27 Tribal Status: Gilden Diewe Personality: "People talk about how great love is, but that's Taurosdung. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But their wrong. Pain is something to carry. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, your letting others destroy your reality. Always protect your reality, son, because in the end, it's all you have left." These may not have been the best words a dying father could leave his now orphaned five-year old son, but they are what Rath held to heart. Perhaps a little twisted from what his father meant maybe. Maybe even more than a little twisted, perhaps a lot, as Rath has spent years helping members of the Eon Tribe to "find their reality," and protecting his own. One could argue that there has to be something else below the Absol's addiction to pain, and they'd be right, there are scars. Criss-crossing their way across his soul, holding up what little sanity that remains. Maybe if someone was just crazy, or masochistic, enough, they could get close enough to help him, but, that would be painful, for both side. Very, very painful. People who have known him the longest will tell you things about him, about his yearly attempts on his life, always in the same river, about how he always seems sad, even on those rare occasions when he puts on a happy face, and that when he does, you should run, far and fast, if you want to be able to look at him the same. History: Rath did not have what one could call a happy childhood, his mother had left him with his father and ran, neither would ever see her again. His father became cynical, driving everyone out of both Absols' lives, resulting in Rath never having friends, leaving him emotionally detached, and his first attempt on his life was during his fifth winter, when he found a half frozen stream. His father leaped in after him, refusing to let the one good thing in his life leave. He died of hypothermia three days later. A few other children tried to make friends with him, but most quickly abandoned the attempt when he lashed out at them, the few that didn't... Only Rath remembers them, when the stalk through his dreams. His teen years went better, everyone else had learned to give him a wide berth, and he was allowed to leave the safety of the main camp. He also found an outlet for his anger, the Eon Tribe patrols that he and others would harass and kill. Those one didn't stalk Rath as he slept, but he would relive every moment of their death, and dream of new ways to torment them. As Rath got older, and watched the rest of the Pokemon his age find mates and settle down, he became bitter, sometimes harassing other member of his tribe when he could, driving them to anger, but never striking himself. It became a game, as Rath messed around, angering more and more of the Pokemon his age, but since he never attacked them, the council refused to act. In a way, it became a stalemate, he couldn't go any further, but they couldn't either. Level: 34 XP: 19/25 Aura: Trollmannens Triks Aura Level: 10 Aura XP: 11/70 Moves Abilities
