Well winter is here or close for most. Time to get some discussion going. What are your plans for the winter? Just curious to see what people plan on building or changing over the winter.
Myself my goal is to get all the maintance done on my car. After the maintance stuff I want to put a new water pump in, new alternator, new kevlar timing belt, and a few other odds and ends. As for modding I am keeping it real simple this time. I will most likely add a 16g turbo, injectors, afc, fuel pump, and exhaust. It's a fwd 2g not a race car and I am keeping it simple and streetable to daily drive.

If I get a job any time soon, I'll end up buying the coilovers for my car that I want, so that may happen this winter, then after that, who knows.

I am just gunna do some preventative maintenance to keep her running safe on the street. Possibly do cams, im not sure if i wanna do that over the winter or wait til spring. But off the DSM topic, im looking to pick up a JDM FD3S. I have been looking and the way it looks is by actually purchasing one from Japan and having it shipped here will actually be cheaper than buying one here in the US. I have found a place called Japanpartner.com that is pretty reputable and i have a friend in Japan that is willing to give the cars in their inventory a look see for me. So im gunna keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best with this one. If anyone has any input on the FD3S topic let me know cus i will be a total RX7 noob and need all the help i can get.

Continuing the budget build. Hoping to get atleast one track day on the current setup and then build the bottom end and do a bigger turbo this winter. Definitely not enough hours in the day.

Added tow hooks to pull people out of the snow. Does my truck count?

...tuning, does that count? My car is pretty much done for now. I may change up a few things and go SD to ditch the MAF and Greedy Type-S.

If I feel I can swing the purchase, I'll be picking up a STM Wilwood brake kit for the 2G before spring. Other then that, all is awesome so it stays the same.
