I loved the original so that's likely to be a must buy. |

Try: 'Shark Rase' - some Asian guy designed the level. It's hilarious, sheer pandemonium -- that is, if the Shark doesn't get stuck for whatever indiscernible reason. It also makes use of the Metal Gear expansion pack -- splat, splat -- very enjoyable. Talking about LBP. In case it wasn't obvious. |

As charming as it is, I'm just not particularly fond of platform games. I enjoyed my time with it but not real desire to go back. I'm the kind of diseased fool who plays Disgaea 3 though. |

rofl, why bother with nex-gen games at all if you're going to play Disgea 3. It came across as a Suikoden 2 (PS1) clone from the reviews and screenshots. Glad I had passed on that temporal sinkhole. And as it happens, the only reason why I fired up LittleBigPlanet again was because of this thread. 'Shark Rase' is great though for a 15 minute stretch, just make sure you're with three others. The new search option is also brilliant, should have been available from the start. Biggest pet peeve of mine is that I still haven't been able to collect all the multi-player goodies from the original levels. Kind of pisses me off, you can never find anyone in those levels, and it takes too much effort to actually befriend someone on LPB for longer than 30 minutes. Fuck off and die, useless adolescents, ahaha... ye-a-a-a-h, anyway, I'm 'hearting' all the quality levels that I find, though they've been mostly artsy than genuinely fun -- like 'Shark Rase'.
'Flower silhouette' definitely had promise though, great art style, albeit not very fun.--------- Where are you going to buy Killzone 2? Amazon.co.uk? Still haven't placed my order. |

Killzone 2 turned up today, a full day early, but I won't actually be playing it until the weekend probably. I used Play.com (£30) in combination with Quidco (cashback site). Not sure if you can use quidco from Holland but I don't see why not. I've also bought Salo on DVD so I'm preparing my sick bag for that too. Anyway, Disgaea 3 is the most compulsively addictive turn based strategy RPG yet. It's like a cross between Civ 3 and Final Fantasy 10. I think I'm going to be playing it for a very long time, mostly in the dark. |

lol. I usually have a pretty strong stomach, but that movie definitely reminded me of my gag reflex. Having said that, everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime. |

Play.com doesn't 'accept' my virtual creditcard. It's sort of funny, actually, given the fact that these people don't even have a help desk email address listed. Do they honestly expect me to call them? I mean really? How many European customers do these people have, anyway? Terrible service, even if you do finally get through to their unlisted email help desk. What is the scope of the larger battles in Disgea 3, for the record? |

Play are huge, the largest after Amazon for UK customers. You really shouldn't have any problems... but if you do try shopto.net. All of the other retailers are at least £32.50 from what I can see. Anyway, I really doubt Disgaea is for you. It's turn based for a start, has a very silly sense of humour and is for people who like sifting through literally thousands of potential moves and items. It's strategy crack for me. I was meant to drink a bottle of wine last night, had it all ready, but forgot to open it. That's some addictive shit. And as far as the larger battles are concerned, I've played 9 hours and it's still giving me tutorials. |

European customers at shopto.net can only make use of prices in Euro, apparently, and clearly, this would not be to my advantage. International shipping costs are also 4.50 pounds. Do you have any price chart comparisons for UK webshops? How many characters in a single battle/stage/whatever btw? |

www.find-games.co.uk And I'm currently using a party of 10 but there doesn't seem to be a restriction yet. I created four of the characters on a whim and I'm allowed to field all of them so far. The base room currently has about 25 slots but apparently you can get a larger room - which would suggest at least 30 on 30 battles. That might become a bit much, particularly due to extensive use of character and weapon specific combos. Still, very much my kind of nonsense. It doesn't have a multiplayer but to be honest, a 30 on 30 would probably take about 6 hours to resolve. |

Yeah, I'm definitely not going to order that game. Anyway thanks for the link, I had already ordered it at HMV.com, but I'm still waiting for the 'allocation' process, in light of the fact that they're probably going to reject my creditcard as well, even though it taps into the Mastercard network. Cunts. What are your experiences with the various shops? HMV has a good reputation in the Dutch budgetgaming community that I make use of. |

Yeah, I was actively trying to discourage you buying Disgaea. It's very much a niche thing and I'm not being held responsible. <_< I find all of the sites I use pretty reliable. I tend to use HMV, Amazon, Play, Shopto and The Hut, depending on who is cheapest on find-games. Everyone else is overpriced or I haven't found a need to register with them yet. |

Hey, tell me if the Gay Biker Add-On content for GTA:IV is any good -- I hear there is male nudity involved. Hairy move on the part of Microsoft.

Apparently there is full male nudity on the 360 for GTA 4 - hurray. Anyway, it's meant to be a brilliant expansion pack but I bought it on PS3 so it's going to pass me by. You'd think buying all the machines would do... |

I preferred San Andreas for the game mechanic, Vice City for the humour and GTA 4 for the story. Both Vice City and San Andreas were more fleshed out, but GTA 4 became the Sopranos of games. Good and bad points I think. Not as interested in the add on - although there is a grenade launcher. Mmm. If it was an apache, like San Andrea, maybe I'd buy it. Anyway Disgaea is the only thing I am interested in, haven't even played Killzone 2 yet. |

Dude, 8-bit pixelated sprites versus an army of beautifully animated & rendered Darth Vader clones, this includes the voice-box. The voices are brilliant, although I'm sure they'll get old real fast. You could have massacred yourself a battalion by now. My only complaint is that it doesn't feature limb loss. Perhaps in Killzone 3. |

I also like Chess. I would love some limbless kids in that. Anyway, I lost £40 today gambling. This doesn't happen very often and I am furious. Your fault.
