T-Shirt Hell is closing down for good.

I'm hoping it's just a marketing ploy to get people to buy more shirts during the recession.

I'll believe it when I see it. It's not a huge surprise though, a lot of those T-Shirts you just can't wear outdoors - see "Arrest Black Babies" for example. <_<

I've been buying T-Shirts from here Last Exit to Nowhere

Aren't T-shirts typically considered the standard uniform for those that refuse to leave their 'High School experience' behind? You know, that ostentatiously casual look, where it's a capital vice to tuck your shirt in, as it would be considered 'uncool'. Everything has to 'hang loose', that layered look, where you come across as a destitute homeless guy that wears his entire wardrobe for fear of it being stolen.

Wasn't it a fad a couple of years ago to create 'T-shirt frill' by means of a sweater and an oversized white t-shirt underneath? :lolly: Rag culture, priceless.

You know, it isn't a coincidence that the predominance of rag culture in recent times coincides with pandemic levels of obesity. People no longer take pride in their personal appearance.

You know what's truly sad, I just missed the post-Christmas January sale on half a dozen or so UK-based game/dvd/blu-ray sites. I even compromised my principles and got a muthafuckin' creditcard, albeit a virtual one. Took forever. That British Pound better stay in the gutter, until I snatch up a couple of decent bargains.

What? You can't make a simple profit now from the financial misery of millions of people around the world? That pre-Christmas sale in the UK was insane, I should have made a trip over in order to empty out those stores.

I bought a lot of items from the U.S. when the pound was worth $2. I should have transferred my savings into dollars back then, I'd have made a fortune.

You are such a pretentious turd-nugget.

I wish you would act like you are human, Mock.

You must realize that all demographics of the population use T-shirts in some fashion or the other. This ubiquitous, omni-purpose presence within modern culture has reduced the T-shirt to the ultimate statement of standardized conformity.

Stamping a political message on your T-shirt in order to effectuate some errant notion of originality is in actuality an extreme form of pointless, disposable banality.

Yes, flawless logic. *nods*

I suppose the most predictable answer would be a nudist colony, but instead I'll opt for something even more trite: I belong to an itinerant LARP commune.

How about you just tell us the truth.

I wasn't thinking any horrible thoughts, I just want to know how you live so I can compare it to what you write.

I . . . actually . . . find myself totally agreeing with Mock on the whole baggy-t-shirt-as-rag-fashion thing. And Henry, that is the absolute perfect picture of the Dootle!
