Fall Out 3 would be bad ass, were it not that Valve dropped the ball on the PS3 version, given their inexplicably hatred for all things Sony, that is, since the Cell architecture emerged. <_< Lazy. |

Questioning Validation

Don't want to piss on your bonfire but Fallout 3 was developed by Bethesda. Valve are the developers of games like Half Life and Left 4 Dead. I have a rare 8" Sackboy promo toy that's selling for over one hundred smackers on Ebay. It takes pride of place in my gaming room. |

Substandard coding is automatically relegated to the pit of irrelevance. Although I do stand corrected, having never played a single game of either series. Those Sackboy dolls were pretty shitty though -- with that I mean hideously obscure. I would cash it in before the quality merchandise starts flowing into the limelight. |

Dootle: I have a Dalek in my front room so I can't really criticise. I still will though, you nerd. Mock: Fallout 3 is great (and very cheap) - the only reason you should turn it down is if you have nude graphics comparison parties with your XBOX friends. I bought the PS3 version because it was £15 cheaper and that's enough of a reason for me. Also, how can you not have played any Valve games you goon? Portal is genius. |

The much maligned Orange Box (PS3 version) is now available for 15 pounds I believe, last time I checked. The hatred amongst PS3 owners is quite vocal for where it concerns Half Life -- apparently used copies are the way to go in order to screw over the sales figures. Fall Out seemed to me like an 'uncanny valley' clusterfuck. What's the purpose of that mindless dog, by the way? |

Played Fallout for about 40 hours and have never owned a dog or even seen where you can buy one. I did own a robot but he was blown to bits by a mutant rocket. Anyway... Half Life 2 is one of the great FPS adventures, despite its age. I have it for the 360 so can't comment on the PS3 version but Portal alone is well worth owning. Why not just go out now and buy a 360... ... IF YOU CAN MAKE IT DOWN THE STEPS! WA HA HA HA!!! |

I have this thing about knowingly buying defective shit. I know, completely unreasonable on my part. Oh, and apparently you have to find the dog. Which does make the game considerably more appealing, as I despise tag-along AI companions, especially the unimaginative sort, such as canines. Killzone 2 demo will drop on Thursday for the European region. The Resident Evil demo should be available today. I've seen pre-order deals for Killzone 2 for a mere 35 pounds (38 euro perhaps?). In the Netherlands, new games upon release would go for up to 70 euro or more. |

Killzone 2 is £29.99 from www.shopto.net and offers cashback via www.Quidco.com. Cheapest deal I can see and the one I'll probably go for. Will check the demo first though. |

Ordered 'Call Of Duty 4' the other day and received a similar offer for a 15 pound rebate on my next purchase, provided that I get a 'Shopper Discounts & Rewards Membership' for a monthly fee of 10 pounds. Quidco appears to be cheaper with an annual fee of 5 pound, but still, how long will one of these contracts last? Also, that website looks extremely dodgy -- with all those phone numbers, looks like a ringtone merchant. Amazon.co.uk has Killzone 2 for 29.99 but they'll slap a VAT fee on top of that for 5 or 6 pounds. At least, for European customers. |

It's a massive game though - the biggest by far and from humble "street twat with a spray can" you can climb all the way up to Casino and Airport owning billionaire with a harrier jump jet and an apache (amongst others). It also has James Woods, Samuel L Jackson and I think Dennis Hopper in it. How can you go wrong with that? |

Well, it was a little too black for my tastes but then, it's about criminals so it was a logical decision by the programmers. Hold on. That just came out all racist. |

As great as the GTA games are my favorite game of that genre is Mafia. Its not as big as any GTA game, but I love the cars and the atmosphere. They need to do more period-piece GTA rip offs. |

My roommate had a dog. He killed it because it pissed him off. He also killed three of his wives when he was playing Fable. I think I should be worried. |

Gang of children - some as young as TEN - caught slowly roasting puppies over bonfire![]()
Even GTA draws the line at simulated puppy violence. <_< And you people thought that I was a nutcase for characterizing children as evil. Even that 'little hernia' sounds cute. Awww. Poor little micro-canines. |

Heh, you've got your wish, Steve. Red Dead Redemption Mafia II will also be released this year, at least, that would be the provisional release date. |
