So first we had patient 0 in Dallas. Then this nurse who got on the plane. Is there a chance that Ebola could become an epidemic in the United States? |

I don't think so. We have better medical care and procedures in the U.S. Yeah there isn't a cure yet but I think we're doing a good job quarentinig the infected people. I'm a bit curious how the virus is getting here though.. It sounds like it's a series of careless mistakes... |

Did some research. Ebola seems to mutate quite often. However it is very unlikely that it will mutate to become airborne so quickly. One scientist said roughly that Ebola is doing well right now and in order for it to evolve into airborne it would need to be beneficial to the virus. On top of that it would require several mutations rather than just one. |

I guess that's good to know... Props to the scientists with the balls to research this stuff. I'd be terrified to. We are in debt to them.
