She liked it here. The dreams were at their most vivid in this mysterious place. Airmid was curled up atop the main cave, barefoot but with an old checked blanket around her shoulders which was threadbare in places, to ward off the cold. Airmid liked the feel of the stone beneath her feet, the moss between her toes. She was huddled up and had a great view of the rocks, the strange spires that housed the main wolf pack of Vipers. They were out hunting though and with Airmid having come here for so long she knew she was safe from them.

The dream was queer, she saw a series of images. A coffee shop, then a girl with clawed hands, a blond woman with red lips and a great white cloud that marred her vision. She could smell the beans and scents of the coffee, see so clearly the cuticles on the girls hands, she could even feel the chill of the blonds icy stare and the white left her mouth tasting dry. It was early afternoon when she drifted, but now she woke and above her the stars had come out without a cloud to hide their beauty. Airmid smiled to herself, the moon was not full.

Airmid listened for the sound of the wolves’ return, but she heard not a sound. For now, she was alone amongst the wolfrocks.

((Ah just couldn't wait to try out my new character ;) they can exchange a few words befroe you go off to meet Wilhelm haha))

Elisha padded through the undergrowth with stealth more reminiscent of a big cat rather than the wolf she harbored within. She didn't particularly feel like attending her afternoon classes at the university so what better way to pass the day than hunting? Ripping things apart had always put her in a good mood. The blonde raked back her short fringe away from her face, carefully avoiding the small braid on the right side. She narrowed her eyes and crouched down a little as she neared the Wolfrocks. The wolves were out hunting - quite well, as she'd seen them feasting on the carcass of a large buck not far away. There was something heartwarming about the sight. Movement amongst the pillars of granite caused the breath to hiss out between her teeth in a low snarl. A human? No...she dropped down on all fours behind a juniper. Oh what a find. Elisha bared her teeth in a grin. She'd seen the woman before - a good Ordovice spy always knew the big players. She was a Cornovi mutt that one, some sort of dream seer or some shit from what she'd gathered. Not all that dangerous, especially coming from the tiniest pack in Nightingale. Well since game was scarce she could screw with the mutt a little, it'd brighten up her day.

She stood, bold as brass in her leathers and fur trimmed jacket, and walked out to the clearing, a cruel smile on her pale pink lips. "Oh what 'ave we 'ere?" she chuckled, French accent sugaring her words to make them sickly sweet. "Little Cornovis shouldn't stray so far from 'ome, you're well out of your pack's territory cherie and you know what zat means..." Elisha's olive green eyes flashed. "It means you're fair game!"

Airmid heard her before she saw her, the sound of a huntress, one who would be silent to most, but not to the keen hearing of the dreamer. She huddled closer under a blanket, from her perch atop the cave, she got a good view of the Ordovice when she strayed into the spire littered area. Her expression was blank, the woman was blond – but she wasn’t the woman from her dream. The woman crept closer, she knew that tone of voice, mocking. She was French too. Airmid didn’t move an inch.

"Little Cornovis shouldn't stray so far from 'ome, you're well out of your pack's territory cherie and you know what zat means... It means you're fair game!"

The seer tilted her head to the side, her face giving away no secrets when the woman approached. Her eyes were empty, staring through the woman rather than at her. “I see.” She replied softly, and then tilted her head to the other side. Airmid showed no fear or willingness to fight, she was simply indifferent. Her attention drifted and her eyes lifted to the tree line, she heard the patter of padded feet. “They’ll be back soon.” She murmured.

Elisha growled when she hardly elicited a reaction from the woman - right she'd forgotten the damn dream seer hardly reacted to anything. Ah well, she enjoyed the challenge. The mutt muttered something about 'they'll be back soon'. Behind her Elisha could here soft panting and the rustling of leaves underfoot, ah she'd meant the wolves, not a problem.

Without warning Elisha ran forward, so fast she was hardly visible to the dreamer's eye and then climbed up one of the stone pillars of the wolf rocks, clinging to the near vertical surface with her supernatural ability. She reversed her position so that she was upsidedown on the rock face, grinning down at the Cornovi mutt as she crawled down a little closer. "Well zhen maybe you should run little Cornovi, run before real wolves eat you...or I do." Elisha giggled and flashed her teeth. "Yes, running wold be fun, we could make a game of it! You run and I'll catch you! Who knows what will 'appen after zat? Maybe I'll kill you, maybe I'll just leave a few marks on zat pretty face to teach you not to stray so far from 'ome and dare to play with real wolves."

As she spoke Elisha climbed further down the pillar until she was eye level with the mutt and winked playfully. "Come on, don't you want to play with me?"

The Ordovice seemed to be quite interested in her, but Airmid paid her no mind. Her gaze had already found their way up into the starry sky, a content smile on her face; almost like she had seen something up there that provoked an old, fond memory.

"Well zhen maybe you should run little Cornovi, run before real wolves eat you..."

She didn't move an inch. Her position seemed fixed, her eyes faded to a stare that seemed to focus on nothing, a dream had enveloped her. Elisha's voice was drowned out by the vivid sound of paws on rotten undergrowth, the soft tear of soil by thick sharp claws. They were coming home, having failed a hunt, they were hungry. Airmid tried to call to them through her dream, whisper words of encouragement; they'll find their meal soon, they just needed to try again.

No sooner had the dream taken her, that she returned and caught the last of Elisha's sentence. "...to play with me?" Airmid clenched her toes, feeling the moss squelch beneath them. She shifted forward, then looked down over the lip of the cave; it wasn't a long drop, and she had made it so many times. Without a word, she dropped down and landed with a soft thud on the compacted earth. "They're here." She said, almost with a hint of happiness.

The pack charged through the trees, reducing to a slow jog when home was in sight. One snuffled Airmid, but otherwise, they passed her unharmed. Those wolves were so used to her on their territory, they knew her no threat. "I'm going home now. It was nice to meet you." She told Elisha, then began a leisurely walk; with her blanket wrapped tight about her shoulders and her feet still bare as bone.

((...I love Airmid XD ))

Again, Airmid paid not one lick of attention to Elisha's alluded threats and it irked the Ordovice to no end. She hissed and spat in the girl's direction as she walked off, bare foot and blanket wrapped around her shoulders. The wolves, unfortunately, let her pass by unharmed - pity it would've been fun to see them rip a few chunks out of the mutt. The Alpha female clearly didn't think about being so kind to Elisha and took a snap at her while she was watching the Cornovi walk off. Elisha partially shifted her throat internally, transforming her vocal chords so that when she bared her teeth, long curved fangs by now, and let out a vicious snarl, far deeper and louder than the wolf's own. The Alpha lowered her head and backed off, but she growled all the while.

Elisha hopped down from the rocks and started off in the opposite direction, back towards Ordovice territory. The bitch wasn't worth the time, not when she offered little to no sport. Elisha snorted - she could probably rip the mutt's heart out and she'd still have that stupid, sleepy grin on her face. Oh well, maybe she could suggest to Raven that their next attack focus on the Cornovi; it was always so much fun to tear into that little pack and watch the Eceni squirm at the results. The Dreamseer would be hers of course, if the Alpha permitted, it'd be ever so much fun to get her to scream. That thought brought a little smile to Elisha's face as she walked back through the trees whistling a merry tune. Ah well, if she couldn't make the kill in real life it was always fun to fantasize about it.

(mind if i join in? i wanna test Derrick out.)

"making new friends Princess?" a voice sudden called out to Elisha once she was a few miles away from the Wolf rocks. Derrick had been following her ever since she re-entered the forest, hopping silently on the tree tops till he had summed up enough courage to face his nemesis. he knew the Ordovice very well and still wore the few scars she had given him as a present on their first encounter.
"i dont think your a match for her though, you probably won't get the effect your getting wet over in that sick head of yours even if you tortured her for 10 days." he chuckled, hopping to some of the lower branches, just high enough for Elisha to see him, but well out of her reach if she tried to jump at him.

A voice shouted down from the trees and Elisha let out a squeal of delight. She looked up and caught sight of a burly black man perched on one of the lower limbs just out of reach - unless she climbed up as well of course, oh how she loved that ability. "Derrick!" she cried, as if greeting an old friend, but the still elongated fangs she bared in a twisted grin gave her a demonic look. "So good to see you again! Hm no good to torture her then? Ah well you saved me a lot of time and effort, that's a good mutt - why don't you come down and I'll give you a little treat if you rollover."

Without warning she leapt at the tree next to the one Derrick was perched in and climbed up the trunk with supernatural speed, despite it being a smooth poplar with no where to grip, and ran out on one of the limbs on level with his. "Or I could string you up from this tree with your intestines, that'd be a lot of fun wouldn't it?" she giggled as she sat down, straddling the tree branch. "So how've you been mutt? Haven't seen your face on the west side for a while, getting a bit chicken these days or have you finally learned your proper place in the world?"

Derick didn't flinch as Elisha "flew" up the tree next to his, he was quite use to this already. instead he just watch her, amused by her taunts.
"my place in the world? you mean like..going out on a date, buying you flowers and taking you on a walk by the bay as true genuine friends like the human in all of us should be? no amount of fear could keep me away from see that ugly face of yours curl up in anger princess." he replied. he chuckled as her sarcastic joke. "perhaps, although, im very sure i'll be a bit harder to catch this time." he added, protracting the needles on his arms and doing a back flip to the next branch, kicking as he hit the bark to get to the higher ones above. on their first encounter, he had been consumed by panic which allowed the Ordovice to get to him. this time however, he had a plan in mind,
"i wonder how that old hag your working for would think once she finds out you let 2 lunars slip from under your nose tonight. especially since one of them got away alive more then once. it be quite a joke, ohh i can imagine her fat painted screwed up face and the disappointment in her eyes, i could use a laugh" he mocked. and without looking back, he vanished into the darkness of the thick canopy above.

"catch me if you can princess!" he called, his voice echoing though the woods.

(im a bit rusty on fight scenes, do let me know if i'm doing anything wrong as this goes on.)

A snarl ripped itself out of Elisha's throat, loud and bestial when the mutt started insulting Raven - she should've ripped his tongue out by the roots! She watched him bound off through the trees, those queer needles of his darting from his arms - ah yes his special little ability. She took off after him, the trees turning to a muddy blur of green and brown as she pursued. She wouldn't kill him, no no unlike the dreamer he was a Brigante - Cornovis might be fair game but they weren't to pick fights with the Brigantes unless they strayed into Ordovice territory. They didn't need to go provoking the largest pack in Nightingale without proper reasoning - but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy this little game, maybe rough him up a little to put him in his place. He was just a mangy mutt after all. Elisha put her head down and upped her speed a little. Derrick was fast, very much so, he used his perks well, but he had to work at it, he'd only been given that gift a short time ago whereas she'd been born with it. Using her pureblood blessings was as natural as breathing, she didn't have to think, she just did.

"Silly mutts shouldn't pick fights with purebloods, not when zere's no full moon to save you!" she crowed as she started closing in on him. She had to be mindful of those needles - they'd hurt and could be detrimental if they hit the right spot. Close quarters combat would be tricky, but then again she wasn't really meaning to kill, just rough up if she got the chance. Brigantes, even Lunars, were supposed to be off limits unless they were on Ordovice land. If he got away unscathed his ego would be boosted, he'd get cocky and that would mean he'd get careless. He'd be more likely to come onto Ordovice land then - that would mean he was hers. And if he didn't get away unscathed well all the better for her. She hummed an old French tune as the gap between them started to close.

(New character Gordon arrives at the scene :P)
Gordon could smell the two young wolves coming towards him as they began there fight. Foolish children he thought as he lit up a cigarette. He knew both of there scents quite well, one was Derrick Lesson a packmate of his, who seems to like pissing off the other one, Elisha, Raven's personal spy.
"Are they trying to start a war?" He sighed. "I'm to old for this. I should stop this before Solan or Raven hear of it." He started to walk in the direction of the two, they should already know he is here, it isn't exactly hard to smell smoke, especially to a lycan nose. "Now children, it's time to stop this foolish fight." He shouted in a stern voice. "I am certainly not afraid of locking both of you up, for disturbing the peace." He let out a puff of smoke. "I'm certain Solan and Raven won't be happy to hear of this."

Derrick smiled as Elisha closed in, she was fast but he knew a small slim way of slowing her down. he traveled up to the higher branches, where the canopy was most thick and once he reached it he stopped abruptly and did a somersault backwards, allow Elisha to run straight under him. sending a few shots of his needles towards her in the small window of chance that he created. he understood she was fast, but there are times people,..or even lycans do slow down for a mere milliseconds to make a turn or for the brain to process what was going on. "at least i have a sense of humor to keep me young bitch, unlike you who will wrinkle away from all the muk you've been brought up with, hell you'll look as ugly as raven by the time your 30, and then i'll have to change yar name to Blond Witch TOO" he joked.

As Derrick landed he heard a familiar voice from below, and was irritated to know who was its owner. "Stay out of this pops!" he shouted back, that last thing he needed right now was an old man telling him what to do. "we ain't breaking no rules, aren't we princess?" he asked Elisha, well aware that she had enough sanity in her to know that it was unwise to kill him today.

Elisha growled in irritation when Derrick suddenly launched himself upwards and flipped over behind her, launching those damned needles of his as he did so - she'd expected something like this, her old sparring partner used to pull a similar move, problem was there simply wasn't enough time to counter. The needles dug into her calf, just shy of a vital tendon. Painful and irritating, but not enough to slow her down. Damn close though. She stopped, turning on a dime with a banshee shriek when a gravelly voice from down below cut the battle short. Elisha huffed and promptly sat down on the tree limb she was perched one, the lower limbs of a sprawling oak and let herself fall back, hanging upsidedown with her knees hooked on the branch to get a look at their visitor. Ah, yes she knew who that was, cop, Crescent and Brigante. She shot Derrick a sour look. "At least an Ordovice knows zeir place when speaking to superiors," she fired back. She looked back down at Gordon and bared a mouthfull of large fangs in a crazed grin. "I have no intentions of starting a war Monsieur...not today at least. We're just playing, do you want to play to?"

Elisha unhooked her legs, twisting like a cat in midair to land in a crouch on the forest floor in front of Gordon. She stood up and looked up at him with her hands behind her back in a girlish manner. On any other girl it might've looked sweet but the mouth full of fangs and crazed eyes ruined it somewhat. "Aw sat's right, you're too slow to keep up with us, we'd have to come down here and stay in one place, zat's no fun." she said with a genuine pout. "How to solve zis...I could just rip your throat out and then chase Derrick...no, no zat won't do, it's not right to kill a Crescent before a mutt." She looked back up at the trees and grinned. Oh what fun this had turned out to be. "What do you think mon petit mutt eh?"

((Elisha be insane in the membrane...and ridiculously fun to play lol))

Gordon let out a exhausted sigh, it was obvious these children were foolish beyond reason, but he stood firm.
"First of all Derrick." He glared past Elisha. "The Brigantes do not start fights, and don't gimme any bullshit about her starting it, because you most likely enticed her. And respect your elders for Christ sakes."
He turned to Elisha, who was now almost in his face. "Secondly Elisha, i don't need to keep up with the likes of you, when i could do this." The flame from his cigarette shot up, not close enough to burn her face, but to feel hot enough to flinch away. "There will be no fighting here, not on my watch, Elisha do you seriously think Raven would want to see her prized pupil locked behind bars, or worse." Gordon stood calm and firm, this was probably going to end in a fight weither he liked it or not. Another meaningless fight he thought to himself. "Now please, Derrick, Elisha, lets leave the fighting for another day."

(insane characters are always fun to play lol. only Airmid can truly tick off Elisha without even trying)

Derrick jumped down to ground level to face Gordon "well i ain't fighting on their turf aren't i? " he replied, keeping in mind that Solen had already warned him not to overstep the line by returning to taunt the Ordovice. "so technically i ain't breaking no rules, keep to your own business old man, you ain't my dad, and there ain't no laws about fighting in the forest" he added, Derrick didn't like how Gordon was so adult like, Rule abiding and all. he had personal business with the Ordoviceian, there was nothing wrong about settling personal stuff.
but he knew there was no use arguing with the senior, he just eyed Elisha, chances of getting his weeks fun were probably erased since Gordon stepped in

Elisha couldn't quite contain her little squeal of surprise when a small tendril of flame licked at her face from the end of Gordon's cigarette - not enough to burn, but still surprising nonetheless. She giggled and clapped her hands. "Ohhh nice trick, not bad for a dirty half blood I'll give you zat!"

Elisha stood to the side when Derrick dropped down and started to chew the elder Brigante out. She shook her head and made a tutting noise. "I pity you Monsieur Gordon, at least my pack has structure - we know our place and how to speak to our superiors and let's face it, everyone's above a mutt." she cackled, twirling her thin braid around her finger. She turned back to Gordon and grinned, finally shrinking her teeth back to normal. "You, you called me Raven's prized pupil, for zat highest of compliments I will give you no trouble today - unless ze mutt makes a move first." She giggled and gave a little twirl, her leathers creaking as she took up an en garde stance typical of a fencer - habit, she'd learned the art at a young age, and held out a hand towards Derrick. "I'm in a generous mood today dog, I shall let you make ze decision, fight today or fly away and live to die another day?" She partially shifted the internal structure of her throat again as she spoke so her voice became twisted and distorted, half bestial half melodical. "Come, come, I've not all day!"

Gordon sighed in relief, seems that his flattery worked after all. He knew that he stood no chance against Elisha, not right now at least.
"Thank you very much, Elisha, I'm sure Derrick will graciously accept your offer of not fighting." He glared at Derrick, as if to say 'if you fight you're in deep shit' Gordon then put out his cigarette. "Listen boy, you are right I'm not your father, so i am sure as hell not afraid to slap the shit out of you." He said in a very stern fatherly tone. "Now. lets leave, and maybe I should drill the friggn rules in your head again."

Derrick snorted, yeah..prized pupil for kiss ass he mumbled, barely audible so no one could hear him "fine" he said after moments of silence, with open arms and walking backwards. sending a message to Gorden try me he spun around and began to walk away. "send my regards to the witch, Princess, if i'm not already on your hunting list. happy day getting those needles out." he called back, the needles he managed to embed into Elisha's skin were like small shards of glass that were hard to remove, before vanishing back into the tree tops and heading back to the city, he would get at Elisha some other day.

((Haha it's true stripes, Airmid pisses Elisha off because of the lack of reaction, a reaction of any kind, mocking or no she thrives on :P ))

"Awww I was really hoping you wold choose the other one, oh well," she shrugged. She glanced down at her calf - to be honest she was more irritated at the holes in her pants rather than the needles embedded in her flesh. She'd have the pack physician dig them out later and she'd keep them as souvenirs.

She sighed, gave her bangs a little flick and started walking away. "Ah well, zat's just too bad. See you around 'alfblood, hope I get to kill you one day - for your praise I'll make sure you die well, zat I promise you, on my word as an Ordovicean."

Elisha hummed another old French tune and walked away with a smile on her face. So she didn't get to shed any blood today, it'd still been fun - and she had a reason to pitch another pack confrontation to Raven; the Lunars were getting bold and forgetting their place, what better excuse to start putting them down again?

Gordon let the death threat slide, no need for more bad blood, if anything saving Derrick may have just signed away his life. "Have a nice night Elisha." He called sincerely, then turned towards the city. "I really am getting to old for this. I gotta get back before the wife thinks i'm cheating." He lit up another cigarette and walked back towards home. "Ordovice, what is that boy thinking.... Solan will not be happy." He kept up his banter to himself all the way home keeping track of the childrens scent. Just in case.
