As promised, Eirwyn had agreed to bring Troy along to one of the Eceni rituals. She was in her lycan form, her fur rich red like her hair in human form. They were at the Wolfrocks, inside the great cave at the far end where the ancient basin awaited the taste of blood and moon light. The cave was light dimly with torches, giving only enough to be able to distinguish flesh from shadow. Eirwyn had agreed to participate as one of the blood givers tonight. Eirwyn gave wolfish smile to Troy, then looked over the group of humans who stood frightened but confident beside the basin. Normally, the Eceni Alphas were here, but they were off hunting. Instead, their Beta was there to moderate and lead the ritual. Eirwyn and another lycan were called forward to take their place behind the basin, one of the humans stepped forward to where a knife rested on the edge of the basin. The human took a deep breath and the group waited for a moment for the moon to reach the right point in the sky, then they began the ritual. Eirwyn started first, she turned to the brown furred lycan beside her and used a claw to slice his wrist. The lycan flinched and rest his arm over the basin, letting the blood drip onto the stone. Once enough blood was given, the lycan used his claw to make the same cut on her wrist; she did the same, added the blood to his in the basin. Finally, they looked upon the human, who took up the knife in his hand. He held his breath and ran the knife over his wrist and joined his blood to theirs. They waited, the air was tense with anticipation. The moon peered through the gap in the rocks within the cave and shone down on the basin, the blood seemed to shimmer silver in its light. The Beta grunted, it was time. All of the humans stepped forward and formed around the basin, they leaned forward and saw as the blood filled the whole basin; surprised by this magic, a few hesitated. Eirwyn grumbled, the brown furred lycan snarled, the humans drank. Some retched at the taste, others were in awe of it and took another hand full to ensure that they had contracted the curse. Once the humans had had their fill and the moon shifted away from view, the blood in the basin seemed to be absorbed into the stone; leaving not a trace. That was it, the ritual was over. Eirwyn looked to her companion in approval, then returned to Troy. She place a clawed hand on his shoulder and crooned, as if to say ‘Time to go’. -- The Ordovices were ready. They had taken their places hidden amongst the shadows in the rocks around the great cave, steering clear of any light that would give them away. Raven was on the western side, crouched low behind a boulder in the tree line. She had asked for Ezra to be at her side for the first hunt, so at the very least if he needed help or he faltered to kill – she’d be there to deal with it. Raven looked at the younger lycan, admired his wolfen form and the promise of a great warrior that came with it. But she had sensed an odd feeling of doubt within him, no matter, any doubt would be driven out of him tonight on this most beautiful of full moons. The plan was simple, once the Eceni left the cave they would circle around and chase them out so they could not rely on the wolf rocks to hide them. It was deliciously perfect, Raven hungered for blood. |

Cole wandered aimlessly through the forest, its been so long since he last been here. He began to get frustrated, maybe he should have left town with Derrick, no matter, he should meet with him soon enough. Cole stayed in human form and left his Jacket at the Den, his scarred tattoo was proudly shown in the moonlight. He punched a hole in a tree and started to get angry. "HEY! ANY ORDOVICE BASTARDS OUT HERE!" Cole roared at the top of his lungs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Troy was amazed by Eirwyns lycan form, he thought of her as the perfect Lycan. He remained in human form for now, he hated the pain of transforming, but he knew the urge was coming. He watched the ceremony, fascinated at this strange ritual, it felt right, he only wished he was changed this way. When the moonlight broke through the gap he couldlnt stay human anymore. His body writhed in pain as his skin began to rip apart and black fur replaced it. His snout hurt the most, it slowly grew out and his teeth elongated. finally he was in his full lycan form, he could feel the moonlights power. It was wonderful. When the ceremony was over and Eirwyn was by his side, he heard something, someone yelling. It was strange, the moonlight made his hearing even greater, it felt good. "Someones yelling outside." He told Eirwyn (We can talk in lycan form right?) Upon further concentration, he heard light breathing from all outside the cave. "It's not on Ordovice that screamed, a rogue?" Troy thought why the Ordovice didn't attack the rogue, when it dawned on him. "It's a trap! The screaming i hear is a decoy to pull us out!" Troy didn't feel scared, the moon gave him stronger powers, and he wanted to test them. |

Elisha pressed her sinewy form close into the shadows. She was hunkered down close to Raven and Ezra - she'd requested the position both to be close to her Alpha and the pup she'd had such a pleasure training. She felt a lusty growl bubble up low in her throat, but kept it down - it wouldn't do to be discovered yet, not until all the Eceni and the filthy little humans had exited the cave. When she heard the boy yell she almost lost it. Her ears went flat against her skull and her mane bristled. Her tongue flicked out repeatedly as she bared her pearly fangs and looked at Raven. This wasn't good, the idiot's calls could press the Eceni back into the cave or scatter prematurely - they would be cautious tonight as it was, half suspecting a trap anyway. Oh what she wouldn't give to watch Raven rip the fool's heart out of his chest and eat it. Digging her claws in she tensed her muscles, ready to spring. Things would start happening very fast now - all they needed was Raven's cue. |

Ezra stood very close to his Alpha, feeling the power she held emanate through the whole pack. It was so quiet, quieter than he had thought it would be. He could feel his heartbeat in his throat, the lusty, barbaric desire to taste blood was strong in him. His doubts lingered, but not strongly anymore. He'd come too far to turn around now. He heard the yells and held back a snarl, tail wagging in anticipation. He looked to his Alpha, awaiting order to kill. |

Blythe crouched, poised for the hunt. His coppery fur barely glinted, hunkered as he was amongst the shadows. He was hidden closer to the cave entrance, prepares to act swiftly and intercept the Ecceni. Blythe and a number of others would be prepared to surround the mutts and blood traitors as they left their forsaken ritual place, denying any retreat. The Ecceni would not escape this night. Briefly Blythe hoped the best for Ezra. He remhmbered hos own first hunt with a wolfish grin. It was almost time for the Ecceni to leave the shelter of their rocks and Blythe was patiently awaiting the chance to strike when the noise started. A ripple of displeasure went through the Ordovices present when someone began to shout. Blythe's ears went vaguely back in disappointment. Whomever it was, they were causing trouble to the pack that could cost the hunt. But the Ordovice were strong and resilient. Blythe had every confidence in the hunt organized by Alpha Raven. Following the shout, a pair of daytime birds shot by beneath the full moon. Blythe perked his ears up to catch the agitated twittering- it seemed like the pack's hunt wasn't all that was being disturbed. |

Malcolm stared irritatingly out of ceiling window of his his car as it was was parked on the deserted road that cut through the forest, a small van was parked behind his car. he put out his cigar and pushed his thugs out of the vehicle as he exited as well, the moon had always urged him to transform. he tried to hold back every full moon for he hated what others would refer to as his "true form", grateful that his pure family lineage allowed him to control his transformation. he let out a sigh, like a drug it was sometimes hard to push away the craving to transform. he gave a dangerous glare at his men, there were about 20 to 30 of them, before they helped their boss remove his trench coat and hat. they stood back respectfully as Malcolm turned. his skin stretched and snapped as his muscle rippled, his bones cracked and slowly and smoothly the fat white trash became the ugliest wolf beast standing on its hind legs you have ever seen. gray mattered fur, fitted with a squashed face and broken muzzle and teeth, Malcolm gave a satisfying roar as he embraced the magnificent feeling of feeling free, despite how much he loathed this form. his henchmen turned as well and now tilted their heads in respect to their boss. "bring out the dogs!" he grunted, cracking his stiff bones that he had not used in a long time in this form. "get to work, we must make sure not a sound or sight from tonight event gets out to the humans" he added and his men set to work. opening the door of the Van and pulling out a dozen, thin, ruffled and chained people out of the van. they were all fitted with metal collars and cuffed, what looked like human form of muzzles around their mouths. the second their faces were exposed to the light of the moon, each of them fell to the ground and begun to roll and struggle violently, howling in pain as their bodies transformed. Malcolm's men tugged the "dogs" away and begun to lead them into the forest. the boss himself slowly hauled himself up the tallest branch he could find with a mutt of his own, tailed by 2 of his men. it was going to be a Glorious night and he was going to have a little bit of the fun himself. “ HEY! ANY ORDOVICE BASTARDS OUT HERE” Howled a voice through the trees, the fur on Raven’s neck stood on end. Her lips formed into a snarl, but no sound rose from her throat. What a fool, whoever that it may be. She would not allow some vengeance driven idiot ruin their fun. Raven held out her paw and balled it into a fist and held it to her shoulder, signifying a hold. She whispered to Ezra (I think we should be able to talk, otherwise it could be awkward lol), “There will always be one idiot lurking around, but worry not. In a hunt, you stick to the prey you have targeted. The herd is always better than the lone stag.” She peered over her shoulder, over their cover and towards the cave and cursed softly. They had heard it too, she hoped that it wouldn’t spook them. “Just a little longer now,” she told Ezra tenderly, “let them settle... Patience is the key.” ---------------- Eirwyn’s ears perked at the sound of the challenge, then flattened them to her head, “That’s never a good sign...” She muttered. "It's not on Ordovice that screamed, a rogue? ... It's a trap! The screaming i hear is a decoy to pull us out!" Eirwyn pursed her lips, “It’s very unlike the Ordovices to use a tactic like that in a hunt. I don’t doubt we’re in danger, but we always are on the full moon,” she wrapped a furry arm around Troy, “we’ll be fine. Look, no one’s going to leave. If there is a chance that they’re out there, then we’ll use the cave to our advantage and hold them at the mouth,” she gave him a wolfish grin, “it would not be the first time that I’ve survived an Ordovice hunt.” She hoped that would assure him. The Eceni began to leave together, but formed in a way where the strongest held the outside of the group. They were wary now, but confident in their skills. -------------------- Raven held her breath when the Eceni began to emerge from the cave... in formation no less. She bit back a snarl, “That damned fool,” she pinched the bridge of her snout in frustration, “it’ll be fine, we might have to revert to simpler tactics, frighten them away from the rocks, use the woods to our advantage. If they flee inside now structured like that, we’ll never stand a chance.” Raven flicked her wrist, signalling the others to begin to press back into the shadows of the forest. They needed to regroup, plan again. One thing for sure is that she wanted the one who dared to try and spoil their fun dead. |

Elisha bared her teeth in a soundness snarl, ears laid flat against her skull. Idiot, he'd spoiled everything! Oh how desperately she wanted to charge and start ripping the Eceni presented to them apart, but they were too tightly grouped, too defensive. Raven gave the signal to fall back and she did so, keeping close to the alpha's side. She knew the tactic, they'd follow, but not attack and in doing so they would be lulled into a false sense of security and subconsciously their formation would loosen, opening them up for attack. The French lycan pressed herself deeper in the shadows, salivating with anticipation at the thought of warm, coppery blood on her tongue and crunching bone between her teeth. Zis is our night, ours alone - zet will pay for creating such abominations with zeir lives! |

Cole never got any answer to his scream. He sighed and climb a tree and morphed his eyes into his wolf eyes. "Rocks, where are the rocks?" He scanned the area. "Ah, there it is." He slide back down the tree and began to run towards the Wolfrocks. ~~~~~~~ (Fixed) As they left the cave, Troy felt the moons warmth. He drank in all the moonlight his body could handle, he loved this feeling. He felt like his powers would be easier and less painful to use. He tried to morph his hand, his fingers began to lengthen until his lycan skin burst, revealling a magnificent bone claw dripping with blood. It didn't hurt. He then focused his ears, it was almost like he had a 360 view of his position. He could hear the sound of wind and the sound of paws running across the forest. "So we will kill some Ordovices tonight Eirwyn?" He lifted his bone claw and licked the blood, all he could think of was killing. He was losing to the savage, to the moon. ~~~~~~~ Two lycans came into Coles view, he was still a ways from the Wolfrocks. Rogues? Or Sentries? "Lets have some fun" He whispered. He ran into view of the Lycans. "M-m-m-MONSTERS!" he screamed and took of running, he glanced over his shoulder and seen they were chasing. Perfect. He dove behind a tree and waited for the first to go by. When the second came, Cole jumped and latched onto his back and put him into a choke hold. "Are you Ordovice?" "I'll kill you!" It spat. "Wrong answer" Cole twisted the wolfs neck and it fell lifeless. He looked up to see the other lycan was on his way back. Cole jumped off the body and ran behind another tree and hid. One down. But then his heart skipped a beat as he heard the Lycan howl. "Shit!" The lycan howled again, it was informing the pack. Cole leaped out of behind the tree and punched the lycan mid-howl, breaking its jaw. The Lycan was unconscious, Cole didn't have time to kill him, he bolted off towards the Wolfrocks again but this time more cautiously. Edited by Verum Nox, Jul 1 2012, 01:56 PM.

Ezra fell back with his Alpha, trying to use obedience to help stuff down his fear. He wanted to kill something, to impress his leaders. He heard the wolf's howl get cut off, his ears fell flat. "Alpha, what should we do?" He looked at her but did not make eye contact as a form of respect. Ezra tried to lay lower in the shadows, knowing his white pelt could easily stand out. |

((Just realised this late and I'm sorry for that. The Ordovices had retreated by this point Verum, the Eceni won’t be surrounded anymore, I’ll let you fix that before I write Eirwyn)) They ran and regrouped at an ancient oak tree a mile or two off from the Rocks. Raven cursed and spat, “Rogues,” She growled, shaking her head, “I want whoever ruined our ambush’s head.” Just as she finished, the sound of a death howl filled the air. "Alpha, what should we do?" Raven’s fur bristled at Ezra’s words, “That was one of our own,” She snarled, another howl sounded in the air, “forget the Eceni, we find whoever did this. Kill whoever stands in your way. Do not go alone. Stay close, stay in ear shot. I’m not losing anymore tonight.” The alpha paced around the base of the tree, “Do not let your pride get in the way, if you need help, call for it. Is that understood? Go in groups of four. Ezra, Elisha, Blythe, you’re with me. Everyone else, group together. Spread out, not too far. We’re going to paint the forest red.” She snarled, it didn’t matter now, everyone would be alert. Raven threw her head back and sounded her battle cry, a howl and a prayer sent to the moon that shone above. “Let’s move!” She growled, if they stayed too long they’d be found. It was time to kill. |

The world suddenly began to move very fast around the teen. The pack began to move, swiftly and silently, though the excitement buzzed all around him. The target he was expecting to face was no longer the primary, which for a second put him into a panic. But upon hearing his name and getting a quick glance at Elisha, he felt his confidence come back in. At least this way he might not need to make such a show. The silence broken, Ezra ran alongside his Alpha, keeping up easily. He was looking everywhere for the rogue, ready to face him and protect the ones in his group. He would, of course, rather die than see them suffer... such was the way of the Ordovice. |

(Ok since we need to move it along i'll post) Cole was near the wolfrocks, but all he could see was eceni emerging from the cave. "Maybe I gave them a chance of escape?" Cole took off running into the forest, maybe he will survive tonight he thought. He came into a clearing, he didn't like being so open, to many chances of being seen, and that is exactly what happened. Cole was tackled to the ground by a light brown Lycan sporting an ordovice brand. The dug his claws into Coles arm and Cole let out a howl of pain then shifted his teeth into fangs. He buried them into the Lycans neck and it shrieked and jump off Cole. Cole took the chance, he rocked back and propelled his feet into the Lycans chest, possibly crushing ribs. "Bloody bast-" Cole was cut off by another lycans maw biting down on his shoulder. Cole let out another howl of agony. He shifted his claws and dug them into the muzzle of this jet black lycan. The lycan squeeled but didnt let go, and Cole realized why a second to late. A third grey lycan leaped at them from the front. "Seriously?" Cole mumbled. He twisted slightly to lessen the blow, it didnt work resulting in a broken collar bone and left arm which the third lycan was now latched. "DO" Cole lifted them both up. "NOT" began spinning "UNDERESTIMATE ME!!!!!" And finally sent them flying into a large tree resulting in a bloody mess. "I know your there! Come out now!" A fourth and final lycan gave out a howl. "Not gonna save you asshole." Cole launched himself towards the final White lycan, slamming him to the ground. Cole put his good claw up to the lycans throat. "Send a message to Raven, Cole Amador is back." right when Cole finished that sentence he slammed a boot down on his chest, blood squirted from his mouth and splattered on Coles face. The lycan was alive, barely. Cole then stretched his left arm and let everything heal, but the pain stayed, he then looked at the carnage and said "I'm sorry." And ran off again. |

Elisha's ears twitched at the sounds of a scuffle out in the darkness of the trees. She let out a low growl that bordered on a hiss when she titled her head up and scented blood on the air. She looked at Raven and jerked her head in the direction of the sound and smells before setting off like a pale shadow gliding swiftly and silently through the blackened forest. She was the first to come across the bodies of their packmates laying bloodied in the loam and she snarled most terribly. "Merde!" she spat and knelt by one, barely breathing and vomiting blood. She bent her head low and put her ear next to his mouth "A name! I need a name!" The dying lycan looked at her with glazed eyes. "A-Amad-or." He choked out the name, blood spattering onto Elisha's snowy face before his head lolled sideways and he stilled. The French lycan did not bother clean the gore from her face and turned back to Raven with glacial eyes. "It's Amdor!" |

Blythe nodded to his Alpha, seething on the inside as he formed up with the three pale, glossy lycans. On the outside, he was the picture of a calm but determined hunter. As the small group approached the clearing, the auburn-coated werewolf's ears perked up and he veered off slightly, following the tell-tale rustling of displaced wildlife. They could find out what went down in the clearing, but Blythe knew the importance of covering all angles. He wasn't gone long; Blythe came padding back within moments, close enough to hear Elisha's cold announcement. "And the bastard's bein' none too careful, Boss." He nodded across the clearing, "He's stirring up about half the forest, headin' that way." Cole Amador. The traitor- he was marginally younger than Blythe, and had the gall to challenge the Bosses for leadership of the pack when he was only 17. Blythe briefly wondered how an Eclipse like Amador could be so against the Bosses or their ideals. |

"It's Amador!" Elisha informed her, Raven scoffed. "And the bastard's bein' none too careful, Boss." Blythe nodded across the clearing, "He's stirring up about half the forest, headin' that way." Raven pinched her thumb and forefinger between the bridge of her nose, the lycan equivalent of anyway, "That stupid little boy. I knew I should have gutted him and be done with it, it just goes to show how mercy doesn't get you anywhere in this world." She growled, "Dante is not going to be impressed, I don't doubt that he'll place a hit out on him now." Raven looked up at the full moon, it had sunk a great deal, the night was almost over. She snarled and balled her fist, it shook with anger. "There's no use in endangering more of our own, let's head back home," Her green eyes glinted in the moonlight, "but if we come across anyone on the way, they die. String up a Crescent or two for Malcolm to rescue in the morning, he'd like that." She cracked her knuckles and resumed her human form, fur and fangs melted away to the blond human form, "The next full moon, we shall get our chance. I promise you that my friends." --- "So we will kill some Ordovices tonight Eirwyn?" Eirwyn shook her head, "No. Enemy or not, we don't go seeking them, we defend ourselves. Besides, they're far stronger than us on a full moon. The Eceni are best hunting them like humans, during the day - or during the night when the moon isn't at its fullest." She patted him on the shoulder, the cut on her wrist had congealed now, "keep your eyes and ears open though, if they do show up, you'll need to be ready to fight." She looked over the rest of the group, whom had begun to relax, they might be safe after all tonight. "Let's get you home." |

(sorry OTL im so late. i hope it alright for me to add a small part here) Malcolm had not moved much from where he had positioned himself at the beginning of the event, the only movement me made was to remove himself off his perch on the tree to ground level when ever his men returned with their catch of the night. 4 Mutts including one Crescent laid bloody and battered at his feet, but alive. Malcolm let out a puff of smoke as he looked to the moon, the night was almost over "how many did they get today Won?" he asked the air, and a tall muscular charcoal black lycan spoke "not too many this night Mr.Ferret. they've lost a few of their own. it seems an old friend meddled with their plans today sir" his deep voice bellowed. Malcolm let out a sigh, troubling news this was indeed. he turned back into his human form, having been satisfied with knocking a few mutts around. "we wont make much profit.." me muttered "the Fault lies with the meddler?" he asked and the black lycan nodded "find him, he caused our partners trouble which affects our profit...bring him to me! assist the Ordovice in eliminating the pest if you must! " Malcolm hissed and the black Lycan named Won vanished. there were not many body guards around Malcolm now, and Derrick, who had been caught and trashed about by who he recognized as a coroner from the city, attempted to crawl away carefully. once the last body guard noticed one of the mutts was still moving, Derrick bolted as quickly as his broken body would allow. he ran without looking back as the sounds of snarls got louder, tripping on a big tree root set him Crashing through the forest. his ribs ached badly and his breathing difficult, that man back there was the one who'd been pulling strings with the police to cover up for Hunts, he knew it had to be him. if only he could escape, he could tell Gorden, and then they could have worked a way to attack the Ordovice in a small way. the sounds of rushing paw steps grew louder but Derrick Could not move, he had taken too much damage from Ferret. just as he was about to say his prayers, the sent of ash filled his nostrils and a minute later all went black. his lungs jerked and Derrick started coughing badly, he struggled to lay up right as he felt a hand on his back. "Derrick! Derrick are you alright?!" a female voice spoke, he looked up and say that it was Skoal. in her lycan form as he was, her sad white eyes filled with concern |

Ezra's ears had flattened at Cole's name. The one he had just met the night before? It couldn't have been him... The boy tried to play innocent, looking confused as he could despite his worry. Would Cole come for him? Would they realize Ezra knew? They began to run, Ezra stayed close, despite his feeling anxious, he also felt a small rush of relief. He wasn't a murderer. Not yet... |

Gordon sighed, he finally let Skoal go into the forest on one condition, he was with her. "Just to find Derrick." He whispered to himself. "Skoal I don't smell him ar..." He froze mid step. He smelt Derrick, and blood, lots of it. "Skoal get ready." Gordon pulled out his lighter and lit up a cigarette and pulled out his police baton in his right hand. He ran towards the smell with Skoal following. Moments later it all happened in a blur. Skoal expelled a smoke cloud and Gordon said "Derrick, time to see what this old wolf is made of." He threw his lighter at the attacker creating a small explosion, knocking him back. The old cop then rushed the lycan, and came straight up under his jaw with the baton. Gordon then twisted and dug his elbow right into the lycans stomach. The lycan then tried to bite down on Gordon, but was met by a cigarette burning the inside of his mouth. Finally Gordon came around with a ferocious haymaker, laying the lycan out cold. He turned out of breath. "I impress myself sometimes." He half smiled. "Lets get him out of here, bring him to Blackwater Lake, fighting is usually low there." He knelt down and picked up Derrick and began to move. ~~~~~~~ Cole was walking towards the city, pain throbbing throughout his arm. "Four is probably a little to much for me to handle." He then caught a noise, a sobbing? He made his way closer. An Ordovician girl laid out, bloody mess, three other bodies, lying in the nearby lake. "Please.... Help...." She cried then fainted. Cole grimaced, picked her up and brought her out of the forest, to the den. "Bloody hell, she better not bite me." ~~~~~~~ Troy sighed, he did't want to leave the warm embrace of the now setting moon, but he listened to Eirwyn obediently and when home. But it was too late, the moon had a grip on him now, he craved it, needed it, wanted it. The power, the rush, the feeling, he wanted it all, but it was now fading and it hurt. The next moon will be more wonderous he thought, as he jumped into his bed. |

"no, we have to take him to Galena Mr.Gorden!" Skoal spoke, though in her lycan form her words do not speak from her mouth, but are transmitted to the addressee's mind much like telepathy every time the bells on her ears chimed. "we'll lose who ever follows on the way, my ability can cover us" she added, before morphing some smoke balls into lycan like shape and sending them in different directions, leaving 2 trails of ash foot prints. she then looked to Gorden, hopping he would not object to heading back to the city with a half unconscious kid on his shoulders |

Gordon frowned. "There are a few reasons we can't go to Galenas yet. One, Derrick is a Lunar, bringing him in town is dangerous while the moon is up. Two, Galena is going to have a lot of people asking for help right now. Three, if by chance they see through your trick, we cannot lead them towards town. Finally I can't be seen, Raven has some power in the government, I need to stay Chief for a little while longer." Gordon glanced at Skoal. "Trust me, we'll get him to Galena after the sun rises, I know some medical training, he'll be fine." |

Skoal face became more depressing as Gorden spoke, but she understood his reason. although against delaying getting Derrick treatment for his injuries, she nodded and followed Gorden's lead |
