I invite all the PokeHeaven Members to advise about the best-of-best DW Ubers team so that we can combine the ideas into one single force of the ubers that will cross across Heavens....

That's a pretty nice strategy actually. People tend to overlook it as the use of a Fire-type Pokémon in a rain team is very counter-intuitive, but from what you described, I guess it could be an excellent idea.

Well I think we should continue our discussion on this topic and not wait till BW2 being released. There won't be much changes in the metagame (just 2 new pokes being released). Also if wifi clause is enabled, there won't be much changes in team building.

I really liked Pure's idea of Chandelure in rain team but not as a lead. Infact in my early DW days I used Chandelure+Kyogre combination before switching on to Ditto.

Its time we should discuss about the perfect lead of our team. I really like Darkrai, Dialga leads for their Dark Void and Special Attacks respectively. So all members reply to this lead discussion.

Well, I should mention that we don't know what new move tutor moves will be available in Pokémon Black and White 2, but alright, let's continue in any case.

Personally, my favorite leads are Thundurus, Groudon and Dialga. Thundurus is excellent with its Prankster-enhanced Taunt, which prevents the opponent's lead from setting up entry hazards or lead Darkrai from using Dark Void or Trick, while its Prankster-enhanced Thunder Wave can paralyze various fast Pokémon such as Darkrai and Choice Scarf Kyogre, and it can also do some decent damage to weaken the opponent's team with moves like Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Hidden Power [Ice] and Thunderbolt.

Groudon is my most commonly-used lead, as it sets up the Sun and can use various support moves such as Dragon Tail, Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave, and very recently, I have also tried out a Choice Band lead Groudon, which can be extremely helpful from my experience due to how incredibly common lead Dialga is, as such a Groudon can very often take out such Dialga on the very first turn with Earthquake, since most lead Dialga tend to stay in against Groudon, as most trainers expect Groudon to run slow and defensive sets which cannot take out Dialga in a single Earthquake.

And finally, Dialga itself is also an excellent lead, due to having access to all the support moves Groudon has, in addition to possessing the single best defensive type combination in the game in my opinion, which allows it to easily fight against the very common lead Kyogre (unlike Groudon).

-Manaphy--

The team I was talking about before? It utilizes Chandelure in Rain. It's great because you can trap Ferrothorn and then proceed to do major damage with Rain sweepers.

EDIT: Since Wifi Clause is going to be I unenabled for now, I believe we should continue to make this team. After all, on June 23rd, the whole metagame changes, heck all of the DW abilities could be released and then Dream World wouldn't exist anymore. So we should probably get a move-on.

Sorry for replying late due to cyberoam activation. I think we should wait till June 23 though not the entire game will change but for the 2 Kyurem forms releasing which can be helpful.

Now that Pokémon Black and White 2 have been released, let us of PokéHeaven continue this discussion!

I think I found an awesome lead for DW Ubers:

Posted Image

Hyourinmaru (Kyurem-W) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Focus Blast
- Fusion Flare
- Ice Beam

This Pokémon absolutely crushes Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Forretress and Tyranitar, five common leads. If the opponent leads with Genesect, Kyurem-White is also highly likely to demolish the Pokémon to which Genesect U-turns to, given some luck.

An Excellent anti-lead as white-kyurem, i absolutely love it. Only 1 weakness as lead and that is superpower from Deoxys-A, thus giving it edge over all the other leads. I really want this to be our team's lead.
