Most troublesome gym.

Violet City Gym Leader Falkner
Honestly, for me the first gym was the worst.
I begrudged using the monkey, because i don't like them in general.

But in retrospect, training on this game is much easier, because of early access to the lucky egg. (Hoorah), so it's more tolerable.

But i remember trying to beat the first gym with only my starter pokemon, took a couple of tries every time -?-

I honestly didn't have many problems with any gym; the only one i had to fight multiple times was the one with the roller coasters - the name escapes me. The elite four was ridiculously more difficult than previous games to me though.

As with Pika, I didn't have any real trouble with any Gym in the game. If I had to pick out one Gym that was the "most" troublesome though, I'd say oddly that the 2nd Gym gave me the hardest time.
