It starts out slow, but the further you get into the movie, the more hilarious it becomes. I remember Jack telling me the story about how he and several of his friends went to a Ku Klux Klan meeting. Then, just to make them mad, one of his black friends walked out of the car, walked up close to the meeting, and said at the top of his lungs: "Hey! Where all the white women at?" Needless to say, seconds afterwards the KKK was running after the poor guy. Lucky for him he managed to get back into the car. Jack's car was actually shot at for a good distance before he lost them. I honestly don't know which film I like better, "Blazing Saddles" or "The Producers". Although it's probably "Blazing Saddles".
