Then, they would have to save power so he isn't using the computer for now. Sorry. I doubt that I'm correct, since I wouldn't think that a house would have two different energy suppliers. Just wanted to get an idea out to get another idea from someone else that squishes this idea...

Posts: 1,524 Group: Member Member #1,280 Joined: October 3, 2007	That is a good idea dark, but internet is transmitted through broadbands, or cables, and when a power source is gone off, they shut off all internet in the area. Not to get yah down or anything. Just saying. But it is a good point.

Here's to the past. Posts: 1,524 Group: Member Member #1,280 Joined: October 3, 2007	Wifi still gets shut off. All internet sources gets shut off when the power goes out. Wifi, and all the others I listed. There is no posssible way he could have posted.

The winds of Hurricane Ike caught the jetstream and went through Ohio with over 70 mph winds. We lost a few trees. Over 60% of Ohio lost electricity. Don't believe me? Look it up. So glad I can be trusted for a week of absense. For now, my electric is back on. And to answer the question, I was running off a generator. I wasn't about to spend the generator time on the computer to post replies, I was going to talk to people and get stuff done around the house. Btw, Bris, do I have to post for my week of absense or just for this week with the 15 replies? Need to know so I can take the time when I have no homework. For those of you who don't believe me, this is off of TWC (The Weather Channel). The proof... As to answer another question, the electric company and the Internet company are two seperate things. If you have a generator and the internet company has the internet still up, you have internet. Just because you have no electric doesn't mean the internet is automatically shut off for over 60% of Ohio. o.o;

(I wouldn't see a reason for you to give up your computer for a week for nothing, so yay!) Anyway, at least you're here! That's all that counts! I also hope you're not in the hospital....
