I've been resurrected! Well, not entirely. I'm too busy with life... My grandfather's in hospital... Really... And I mean really... Ill. =[

Everybody lies.

Everyone is going to get mad at me when I say this, but I've had to many people around me die to feel very sympathetic for anyone who's losing someone.

Look, people die. Form the minute we are born we have the subconscious knowledge that our time is finite. Each breath is another grain of sand in the hourglass that is our life. Each breath is a step closer to the end. There's no escaping that fact and quite frankly I don't see why people try. Some settle in a routine, believing that if they control everything in their lives they may never have to have something change. Only once you accept that death is impending, and only then, can you live without dreading it.

In the last year 5 people I knew very well died, and another was incredibly close. My dog, grandmother, grandfather, cousin, and my best friend's brother passed away. My girlfriend was beaten into a coma with a baseball bat. That hit me harder than anything. Everyone else, I knew them, I cared for them. But the person whom I felt a shared a bond with, a rare bond, even rarer to me, dying hit me harder than anything. It was at that point I accepted this simple fact.

Everybody dies. They leave a hole in the hearts of all those who knew them. the best way to heal the hole is to simply not let it exist...
