The Basics of Being a Trainer So you want to be a trainer, huh? Here's some basic information about them to get you started.
- What a Trainer Does
-
A Pokémon Trainer is a person who catches, trains, cares for and battles with Pokémon. They do their best to go as far as they can, earning badges with the Pokémon they have caught and trained, with the hopes of taking on the Pokémon League some day. Trainers catch as many varieties of Pokémon as they can in order to create a strong, well-balanced team.
There are multiple classes of Trainers, based on the goals and backgrounds of each trainer. These classes do not affect what you start with, but do affect how NPC and other characters view you. You are not required to follow the 'typical' Pokémon a class uses, but it is what would be expected by another trainer, Gym Leader, the Elite Four, and more. Some trainer classes can be 'earned' through completing certain tasks or by training certain Pokémon. Classes that can be earned, and how you can do so, are listed below.
Male Trainer Classes:

| | Baker | For the trainer who loves cooking. Tend to always have what they need to cook on them | A variety, mostly those associated with food or its preparation
| | Biker | Rough men, usually on the back of a motorcycle or fast running Pokémon | and types

Please choose a class appropriate to your character's gender.
Classes Note Please understand that not all classes from the games are available here. That is because a number of them are not possible for brand-new trainers to have, especially younger ones. If you feel another class should be added, please send me the name of the class, gender for it, a description of it, the basic Pokémon they would use, as well as why that class should be included. If you feel that there should be Trainer Classes that could be earned, send me the same thing.

Template for Trainers:Please fill this form in completely. Some parts are optional, and marked as such. If not specified optional, it is REQUIRED. Do make sure to delete the parenthesis and what's between them before adding your own information, and to remove any of the fields marked optional that you are not using. If you are using the picture of a character from an anime or other series as the appearance basis for your character, feel free to include part of their personality as well. However, I will be looking up these characters. If you have ripped off their history, you will be rejected.

PokéDex: An invaluable tool for Pokémon Trainers and Coordinators alike. It contains information on every discovered Pokémon and some on Pokémon of legend. By simply pointing the device at a Pokémon, the top screen projects a holographic image while it reads off the Pokémon's name, classification, and information about history and or anatomy. The lower screen also will list habitat, habits, possible moves that can be learned, and evolutions. Trainer Card: A Trainer's identification card. This card has the name of the Trainer as well as a photograph of their upper body and is a license to train Pokémon. Is also an automatic record of current money. A Trainer Card can be used at any PokéMart or Department Store to pay for supplies. Badge and Ribbon Case: This case holds and protects all won Badges and Ribbons in two separate levels, one on top of the other. The individual Trainer and Coordinators can chose which ones are on top. No bigger than the PokéDex, it easily fits in any size pocket or purse.
