The Basics of Being a Coordinator
So you want to be a coordinator, huh? Here's some basic information about them to get you started.

What a Coordinator Does

A Pokémon Coordinator is someone who raises Pokémon to compete in Pokémon Contests. While they battle against Trainers while exploring the region, they also focus on the beauty and appearances of their Pokémon and their moves. The overall goal of a Coordinator is to win the Grand Contest and be awarded the Grand Ribbon. Coordinators can take part in Gym Battles, but are given alternative badges then those awarded to Trainers.

Coordinators share classes with Trainers, based on the goals and backgrounds of each Coordinator. These classes do not affect what you start with, but do affect how NPC and other characters view you. You are not required to follow the 'typical' Pokémon a class uses, but it is what would be expected by another Coordinator or a Trainer, Gym Leader, the Elite Four, and more. Some trainer classes can be 'earned' through completing certain tasks or by training certain Pokémon. Classes that can be earned, and how you can do so, are listed below.

Male Trainer Classes:
Male Trainer Classes, Beginning
Male Trainer Classes, Earnable

Female Trainer Classes:
Female Trainer Classes, Beginning
Female Trainer Classes, Earnable

Please choose a class appropriate to your character's gender.

Template for Coordinators:
Please fill this form in completely. Some parts are optional, and marked as such. If not specified optional, it is REQUIRED. Do make sure to delete the parenthesis and what's between them before adding your own information, and to remove and of the fields marked optional that you are not using. It you are using the picture of a character from an anime or other series as the appearance basis for your character, feel free to include part of their personality as well. However, I will be looking up these characters. If you have ripped off their history, you will be rejected.

Appearance: (This must be at least three hundred words long, including height, approximate weight, their eye color and shape, hair color and style, and distinguishing marks, clothing, etc. No, you may not substitute it for a picture. Though, you can add one)
Picture: (Optional, does not replace description of appearance)

Personality: (What is your trainer like? Are they the strong, silent type? Or are they a bit more, peppy? Whatever they're like, let us know here. Two hundred and fifty word minimum)

They are not one of Brock's various younger siblings. Also, if they are from a canon region, give us a valid reason for them to have moved here. Five hundred word minimum)

PokéDex: An invaluable tool for Pokémon Trainers and Coordinators alike. It contains information on every discovered Pokémon and some on Pokémon of legend. By simply pointing the device at a Pokémon, the top screen projects a holographic image while it reads off the Pokémon's name, classification, and information about history and or anatomy. The lower screen also will list habitat, habits, possible moves that can be learned, and evolutions.
Trainer Card: A Trainer's identification card. This card has the name of the Trainer as well as a photograph of their upper body and is a license to train Pokémon. Is also an automatic record of current money. A Trainer Card can be used at any PokéMart or Department Store to pay for supplies.
Badge and Ribbon Case: This case holds and protects all won Badges and Ribbons in two separate levels, one on top of the other. The individual Trainer and Coordinators can chose which ones are on top. No bigger than the PokéDex, it easily fits in any size pocket or purse.
