*Kestral drools over those screenshots I've not been bothered about Platinum, Leaf Green and Fire Red weren't all that, but these games seem like they'll be well worth breaking old the old GBA for Yes I know they'll be DS games, but the idea of playing them on my old purple GBA is way too good to ruin by common sense yet

actually that does make lots of sense there, just had a better look and it does match Azelea. Then maybe the game isn't as far ahead as I'd hoped, if there was a shot from both azelea and Ecruteak then that would mean its really far ahead, but now its just azelea so it could still mean that there is a lot to do. |

Pikachu coloured pichu has appeared in the anime in japan, i've read it on serebii before. Also, the fact that they mistook it for ecruteak on serebii holds up with what i thought. Even though it is azalea, if you look at ecruteak city, just under the burnt tower, you'll see the layout is pretty damn close. also, i like firered and leafgreen except for one thing: the bike. it was the same damn speed as the running shoes! i hope the GSC bike gets a speed boost over its old form. |

thats whats the guess is. So we can assume spring in america and possibly 32 years for europe. Australia will get it in just enough time for the next millenium |

It's strange...I swear that five or six years ago, Australia were always before us. Yes, they definitely were around 2000 or so, as my dad would always send us games before they were out in the UK. We got Gold and Silver several months before everyone else, and Pokémon Stadium 2. We could have got DSs early too if we'd known, although we could have got them even earlier from Japan or the USA :P... |

So I find myself already considering my SOUL Silver team. Espeon (got to be done) My usual setup as a pure special sweeper. Substitute, Calm Mind, Psychic and Signal Beam (with any luck). Ampharos (love the electric sheep) Thunder Bolt, obviously. Maybe a fighting move (I'm remembering my awesome levitating Ampharos trick from 3rd Gen Netbattle. I included Focus Punch for special walls). Scizor (I had one in crystal so it gets... AARGH I've forgotton the word. It's like when you think about the good old days.) X-Scissor/Iron Head - Same power STAB moves. Though Iron Head flinches. Swords Dance or Agility? Xatu (never had one in an in-game team before despite the fact they're one of my favourites) THUNDER WAVE OF HAX Giga Drain Psychic Calm Mind Apart from that... Rain Dance Mantine maybe. I do like a Mantine. But I've got no other ideas. I realise how pointless this is. HG and SS will probably take a year at least to come out and all sorts of move tutors and stuff could mess up what I want to teach. But whatever. |

If you want to go with Iron Head, I'd recommend Agility so you can take more advantage of the flinching possibility. Although, if pokemon in HG and SS are getting abilities and moves like they did in Platinum (I don't think they will, but just saying), you can always go Technician + Swords Dance + Bullet Punch. |

The word Inevitable is looking for is "nostalgic". For me I'll probably, like in Diamond, have the same team as everyone else (Starter, Staraptor, Shinx etc)... |

there is no way they are going to change the story. it changes the game completely. there's no point in calling it a remake if its gonna be a altered story |
