Psychotic Poison God

I agree with Inevitable. The place i originally got it from hasnt released any more info. So unless its confirmed by nintendo. I'd ignore it for the moment. |
![]() Looks like im - Poison-types tend to be pessimistic, but always within the boundaries of common sense. They can both be good with words and physical abilities. | |

Monkey Boy (Bored & Confused)

I can't believe i only just noticed this now, but Diamond/Pearl and Platinum left some clues in the game about the Jhoto Region. For example Jasmine being in that place which i forget... |

MOAR NEWS: http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/CoroCoro_reveals_more_information_on_HeartGold_and_SoulSilver AND http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Clearer_CoroCoro_scans_surface The latter actually being a clearer version of the former. Summery: - Cynthia is in the games. - Kanto is accessible. - Arceus is there - There's a new area west of the National Park. - Kyogre and Groudon are featured in in-game events (Kyogre for HG and Groudon for SS) and when both are on the same game Rayquaza becomes available. - They're giving away figures again, and if you buy both games you get an Arceus one. - Steelix (!), Wobbuffet and Kecleon have been shown following the player. |

There's going to be a Wi-Fi Jirachi event soon in Japan, it has the special move 'Draco Meteor' - it'll be the first non-Dragon-type to learn the move (bar Smeargle's Sketch). This event will be available for download on not only Platinum version, but also both Diamond and Pearl versions. Once traded over to HeartGold and/or SoulSilver, it'll unlock an event in those games. Speculation on my part is going to assume that due to it having something to do with the special move 'Draco Meteor', something will arrive from outer-space when you take Jirachi to a special area in the game(s). This will be Deoxys. My reason for thinking this, is that bar Shaymin (which will be given a Wi-Fi event in the future), Arceus, Latias, Latios, Mewtwo, Celebi, and Deoxys - we can obtain every legendary on some form of fourth generation game, whether it be Ranch, Ranger, or DPP. I'm expecting Mewtwo to be located in Kanto again, as well as Latias and Latios appearing in one version each after you obtain the National 'Dex. Celebi will almost certainly finally have a worldwide event in HG/SS, while this new Jirachi could unlock Deoxys and Arceus may simply have an event in Platinum - though I expect the level 100 version to be worldwide as well. |

I'm just going to chuck Mt. Moon in there ... There was that random Clefairy dance that you could catch every Monday Evening (-methinks). Could tie in nicely there ![]() One thing that is bugging me though about this game... THAT BUILDING IN VERMILION!! - you know, the one with the man with a Machop stomping the land flat, preparing it for construction? Will it ever be finished??? They made a joke about it in the original GSC with him saying that he ran outta monies to start the build... hope they dont do it again this time =/ |

You can clearly see three new areas: West of the National Park (like I said before) West of Goldenrod West of Cianwood. The Cianwood is interesting as it looks rather reminiscent of a Battle Frontier. |

I hazard a guess that the random building to the West of Goldenrod is the Radio Station - although the GTS building could be there... |

Myself I'm wondering what the large orange glow is above Ecruteak. Also, Lake of Rage seems...more complex. And Kanto is quite clearly in it. Also, the fact that he's got a Steelix behind him, surely this shows there isn't a size limit, Steelix is huge! Anyway, as long as the TR music is the same I'd be happy :D... |

I see what you mean. Perhaps it's a desert. And the Lake of Rage was originally going to bigger and have its own town, so maybe they've put that in now. And technically the only part of Kanto they're showing is the route to Indigo Plateau. |

http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Oha_Suta_reveals_new_information_on_HeartGold,_SoulSilver_events If you click on the Source you can watch the video too. To be honest, I'm getting mildly annoyed with the Notched Ear Pichu thing. I didn't care that it was an event, but I don't think it should have its own battle music, and I certainly don't think a Pichu should have Pain Split, of all moves. There's no link between Pichu and Pain Split. WHY HAVE IT THERE?! Arceus is shown again, following the player through some ruins and creating an egg. Unown seem involved in this, so I'm hopeful this means we'll finally learn more about the Unown. |

Just had a look at the Video and it sounds as if the battle music is the remixed version of the old GSC trainer battle theme. Doesn't sound that good though =/ The FRLG remixes were pretty sound imho =/ |

Am I the only one who is really excited by the pedometer?!!! Seriously though, this is good news. I'm curious what online options will feature this time around? More mini games perhaps? I've hardly played them on Platinum yet but it's on my 'to do' list (like so many other things). Any sign of an actual night and day featuring again? Not really important but it might be nice to see some lighting effects perhaps... Could this mean a new Wii title in the making to link up with all the games? That would be nice...no doubt on Nintendo's 'to do' list as well.

seriously, am I the only person to always read 'pedometer' as 'peadometer'? :S I like it as well - it'll probably bump up the prices again (Ł35???) but it does tie into the mystery gift option of the original GSC games with the Pikachu pedometer! ![]() I wonder whats instore for the RS remake... |

Nah, I bet Americans read it as that too, since it's pretty close to their spelling of 'pedophile'. It's not really that similar to 'paedophile' though. |
