Just a thought

Would some clubs be in a position to field a 1st and a 2nd team if you say made a 6 man team into a 5 or a 4 man team

Obviously it would put some noses out of joint in the first teams, but it would feed some bloody good players into the second teams and make it more interesting, not that the stute need any more 2nd team players :P

Its like teams who can only feild a decent snooker team and not a billiard team. if you wanna play in the team we must all accept that we play both.. I struggle like crap on -25 billiards(you listening DD??) but if you have a decent snooker handicap then its accepted as the norm you wont be a plus billiard player (unless your at crumpsall ha ha ha :D )

Your thoughts chaps

There would be too many players missing out if we went to four - they would have to move clubs to get a game. Carlton, Stute, Libs, Unsworth and Whitefield all manage to get billiards teams every week. That means you have 20 players missing out who want a game. It's nothing against you Joe, it's just that the idea's been discussed before and I reckon you'd kill the billiards off rather than promote it.
I personally prefer playing billiards to snooker because you're always in control of your own destiny - there's usually a shot to be made somewhere.

Just my two cents.
