This guide will teach you how to get Battlescape to work on SwiftKit![]() Lets Begin! Download SwiftKit Step 1. Download / Install SwiftKit using the Link above Step 2. Go to the place where you installed Battlescape For Windows XP/Vista/2000 Users this will be in your C:\Program Files\SwiftKit or depending where you saved the files. ![]() Step 3. Go inside the SwiftKit Folder and go to Data ![]() Step 4. Once inside the Data Folder, look for a Configuration Settings Text Document called "Links" ![]() Step 5. Go inside the Link's Cofig Settings Document and scroll down and look for Link40= The Link won't be the same as the one in the picture but it will link you to Runescape Classic's Webclient for RS. ![]() Step 6. Change the Link after "Link40=" To Http://www.battle-scape.com/Client.php Step 7. Now launch SwiftKit ![]() Step 8. Once SwiftKit has launched go to File, Play Runescape Classic. ![]() Step 9. Once you click "Play Runescape Classic" it will go to Palidino forums which you will have to login to get access to the webclient, i'd advise you to save your password so you don't have to do this every time you use SwiftKit to use Battlescape. Add this to the bottom since quite a few people get a access denied message like I did. [8] If you got a Access denied error when you tried saving the links file, Right click the links file and click Properties. [9] Then click the top tab Security and click Edit. [10] Then click your user e.g Mike-TOSH, and make sure all the permission boxes are ticked. [11] Once you've ticked all the permission boxes, click apply and go back to step 3. There may be a easier way to get around the Access denied error but this is just the way I did it. |
