Magkahn the Decapitator, valiantly defending against the Vheimish Barbarians

The name Skullfiend comes from my clan name, as I soon learned on my journey that the Orcish tongue is too complicated for the little men to say. I happened to be born in under Blodskalle Cliff, just along the border of the Duchy of Sabine. They were jolly fellows, didn't bleed too easily, those were good times.

I really didn't feel at home in the primitive camps of Grodogolbar though, I'd seen the fancy houses and tasted the fine wine of the Vheimish on one of my countless raids on their peasantry. Now, I thought, there's the life. If I can live like that, then why wallow in a mudhut? So I set out to find me a big house and a nice place to raise my Orclings.

At first I set out across my country, but it was truly drab. Many told me I would be more suited to live in Vosgrotalm, the nerve. As if I'd be found drinking their piss-wine. So I did the sensible thing and went to the Lezans. I found myself in Borcania, learning to fence from the most deadly Rodeleros I could impress in a duel. It was through them I also learned the art of drinking fine wine and charming women.

Alas, I soon ran out of money. The life of being a rake was draining on someone as poor as I was, but then I found my calling. The life of a mercenary. There were plenty of battles going on, and so it seemed strange to me that only a few would be willing to take up the job, but I guess I'm just not lazy. Under the banner of a local Lezan noble named... something... Sanchez I saw my first battle. I gradually earned my name as Magkahn the decapitator, a title I became proud of. It wasn't long before I had my own gang.

I don't exactly remember how, or what drew us there, but me and my men came to the Duchy of Biaches one summer's night, when we came across a little tourney of sorts. I wasn't invited to the joust, because I was a, "Fiendish Barbarian" as they put it, which didn't bother me. I found that I could place damn well in the knuckle brawling brackets, well enough to get the attention of a local Chevalier Francis de Muernilles. He wanted to groom me into becoming a duelist for him, to have me formally be announced his champion and take his place in all his sword fights. Personally, I think he was just snobby and lazy, but the pay was well. And so I kicked out my Rodelero comrades from my gang, and took to the road with Francis.

I studied Francis really hard, 'specially when he was jousting. I never really thought anything of cavalry before spending time in his company, I just thought the mounted men were pompous and showy, but I soon realized the tactical advantage of deploying cavalry. Something, I can assure you, not all Orcs understand.

I grew tired of shadowing him everywhere, and wanted to set out on my dream of owning my own house, and gathered my collected wealth up. I thanked Francis and left to The Republic. With my experience and money, I soon found myself at the head of my own Mercenary Company. Just like the good ol' days. I bought my house, built up my property, and now here I sit, condottiero of the Skullfiend Warband, warriors of my new home.

Tana Del Lupo

Tana Del Lupo, like everything else belonging to the Skullfiend Warband has the misfortune of being named by an Orc. Tana Del Lupo is Magkahn's humble abode, business center, and formal ballroom in one estate. It is everything Magkahn had been working for and more. An anomaly that separates Tana Del Lupo from all other houses is the fact that only half of it is decorated. The half where all business is conducted is decorated in the local Sydonian fashion. The otherhalf are Magkahn's private quarters. It has been left to the stones and the lumber on that half, being very spartan if one excludes his trophy and skull room across from his plain bedroom.

Style: Sydonian
Servants: 67
Location: Tarsia Inner City

Entourage

Luigi Alessandro di Giovanni, Maître d'hôtel

Establishments

Magkahn's House of Big Balls (Ballroom)
Gentlesir's Villa (Barracks)
