By the Grace of our Lord Father, the First of January in the 1110th Year of the Second Age It has come to pass that several Land Titles are now available within the Republic, open to those who are willing and capable of securing such titles to do with as they seem necessary and important. In order to both secure the interests of the Republic and to ensure the integrity of the Republic I have decreed that such titles will be bid upon, the money shall then go to the Treasury of the Republic for its use. However, I shall also declare that all Men will be given primacy in their bids before non men, and all Sydonians shall be given ultimate primacy. The Titles available for purchase are: Tarsia Mine The Tarsia Mine, once belonging to the late Emlio di Puscencio, it is still relatively untapped and a good source of metals, particularly iron. Bidding will begin at 175 Florins. Tucozzi Forest The rights to the Tucozzi Forest are to be sold. There are many trees that can be cut down to provide for lumber. Bidding will begin at 125 Florins. La Dernozzi Field The rights to La Dernozzi Field are to be sold. There is ample space for production of various crops, including grains, olives or grapes and also space for livestock such as sheep and cattle. Bidding will began at 50 Florins. Qutocucci Field The rights to Qutocucci Field are to be sold. There is ample space for production of various crops, including grains, olives or grapes and also space for livestock such as sheep and cattle. Bidding will began at 50 Florins. Open Bids Bids will now be accepted for all available land titles. All Patrician have a chance to bid on the titles they desire, and bidding will close at the end of April in 1110 S.A. Sydonians will be allowed to make the first bids, followed by any other humans, followed by non humans. Humans and non humans bidding for the same title the title will go to the human if the amount the non human bids is the same or less. Meaning Non Humans must always bid higher than any Human. The same will go for Sydonians competing against other humans. |
