So who's excited for "Sliver creatures you control have hexproof"
|

I want to think they wouldn't do that. |

We can only pray to Satan someone at R&D has half a brain and worked on M14. Either that or they make it cost 10. |

Well, what about some of the non-Sliver stuff? Anything in the spoilers catch your eyes yet? |

The Scavenging Ooze reprint is very enticing. Other than that, I'm not seeing anything worthwhile. |

Hm... what about a 7/7 with Haste for four mana? |

5 mana. Don't let it lie to you. I'm extremely unimpressed. |

I know, that's the point of the joke. |

You're the point of the joke. The slivers so far at least have been very unremarkable. Let's hope the trend continues and they don't do ASCENDED LAWMAGE SLIVER 3WU 3/2 Sliver creatures you control have flying and hexproof. or INVISIBLE SLIVER 2U 1/1 Sliver creatures you control have hexproof and are unblockable. They'll never do this but they totally should BLIGHTSTEEL SLIVER 13 11/11 Sliver creatures you control have trample and infect. |

I just looked up the spoiler... Completely unimpressed. The only things I actually want is that angel that spews 1/1 counters on your entire field and the reprint of the slime. And you know, thats a reprint. |

I'm waiting for FUCK YOU SLIVER (2UU) 1/4, Sliver creatures you control gain "Tap: Counter target spell and flip that spell's controller off." |

The Chandra's Phoenix reprint is also exciting. For a reprint. Also Demi-Fiend Sliver Sliver creatures you control have "T: This creature deals 9999 damage to each creature your opponents control." |

Eh, Chandra's Pheonix wasn't that hard to get in the first place, it probably just means they'll bring back that cycle of cards. I could stand to pick up a couple more garruk's packleaders, I hope it comes back. |

Come on, what about that fancy Shadowborn Demon? A 5/6 flier with a kill spell stapled on for 5 mana is nice! It's not like they gave it some obnoxious drawback or anything. |

Don't forget you can cheat it out with Shadowborn Apostles! |

It's great- you can get six of them out and then sac them for the demon, and then your opponent can use his Scavenging Ooze to clean out your graveyard and make you sac your demon to its own effect. |

So, we have new versions of Angel's Feather and its friends. Let me tell you how psyched I'm getting... |

Personally, I want to make a deck with 12 fuctional copies of Angel's Feather, and the angel that spits out +1/+1 counters. Thats a good idea right.

I was waiting to see how you guys would feel about that cycle. I can almost taste the jubilation in your words. As for the deck idea, I think it needs a little something more. You should add the Shadowborn Apostles and Shadowborn Demon to thematically balance out the angel and give you something to put the ++ counters on. It will clearly improve the deck. |

As long as you add 12 functional equivalents of Soul Warden. Then refuse to play it in anything but multiplayer games where you can be sure everyone's going to ignore you. Then put in 0 basic lands, some random planeswalkers that have no synergy with each other, and as many extra turn effects as you can feasibly stuff in the deck. It's a perfect idea. |

So, Muscle Sliver's getting an upgrade. That worries me slightly. |

Striking Sliver is the one that worries me. It seems pretty dangerous to have all your dudes get First Strike from turn one. Bonescythe Sliver maybe also worries me? It takes longer but Double Strike is obviously more threatening than First Strike. |

Going over the new spoilers for the past few days, The gobbin and the Dragon seem pretty cool, the rest seem meh. Especially the Minotaur, but not really on the Condor. Why did black need a vanilla 4/6 for 6? |
