Anyway, welcome to the ROBLOX Bookwriters club! This is essentially the site for the ROBLOX group, bookwriters club. Since we all know that ROBLOX's filter can be fairly strict, to the point where you have to use fancy wording to tell your readers the age of your characters, we made this to free our bookwriting capabilities. Message me, and I can run through your book for filtered words, then post it on the forums!

Prologue:

Full occupancy, the Earth was very close to reaching it, yet instead of population control or limiting the amount of children people could have, the population just kept growing. And it grew too fast for the small planet to manage until it reached its maximum capacity. The Earth began to grow uninhabitable for all life forms to the point where the Earth had a valley so deep that the ground was actually molten lava, where anything that went more than twenty feet deep would instantly disintegrate.

This valley was going to be the death of our planet and we knew what our fate was. Until someone decided to change it, create a new fate that not even the president, kings and queens, or even the smartest scientists could have even thought of, a plan so ingenious that even the thought of it would drive most mad. This plan was called The Asteroid Belt. A man by the name of Jay R. Corinth came up with the plan; he was a worker at NASA who had been working on a plan to give Earth a second chance in case we were doomed.

The plan was to send 10 space ships, big enough to hold thousands of people, technology, medicine, plants, and animals, into the asteroid belt where Jay had found a black hole. This wasn’t a normal black hole; it was more of a portal to another universe then a black hole. Its intensity was hundreds and hundreds times less powerful and it had a nature of life, like it radiated hope and brightness. Considering the world as they knew it was going to be destroyed anyway, they decided to give it a shot. They had already begun to build the space ships years in advance so the first had already been made, and since the others would take another year or two, the first was made into an exhibit for people to visit and go on vacation too.

That year disaster struck. One day while around 300 people were getting a tour of the ship an earthquake struck and broke the valley straight down the center and cracked it open. It released wave after wave of magma so in a very rash and fast decision the captain, who cares after the ship sealed the doors and took off. The captain and crew, which were forced to stay on board until the day came, managed to get the tourists off the Earth and into space 27 minutes before lava covered the entire Earth. The Earth itself had become a volcano.

With no hope of returning the captain headed for the portal with all 347 tourists and 93 crew members on board. The tourists were hysterical, Family members huddled in groups praying for hope, lone teenagers lying on the floor crying their hearts out, mothers holding cell phones trying desperately to contact a loved one that they will never reach, everyone was in a state of mind that they would never be able to leave, everyone mourning over someone they never got to say goodbye too, except for one, Ryan Tate.

He stared lifelessly at his young sister, Melody who was beside herself. She thrashed around on the floor holding a camera full of memory’s of a trip that would be her last. Or so she thought. She had one more journey to go on; one that would decide her and her fellow passenger’s fates, one to the world of The Natives.

Chapter one:

Emptiness, that is all I feel or at least show. I cannot snap, cannot break down in front of Melody. If she sees that I have given up then what will she have to go on, my word? On behalf of my word I told her that we would see our parents and brother next week, he would just be getting back from university. I also told her that this would be the greatest adventure she’ll ever have, and now on behalf of me she is laying on the floor screaming our parent’s names… Every tear I see roll down her cheek is like a stab in the gut, it leaves me breathless, it feels like every tear she sheds is a drop of my blood and she is intent on letting me bleed out until I am a soulless body. I want to call for her to stop, I want to hold her in my arms and comfort her until the pain goes away… I would sing to her until she falls asleep. At home whenever our parents went out on business trips together as co-Founders of one of the biggest real estate agencies in the United States, I would do this too, I would lay on the couch and she would come over to me and nestle herself to where she was safe with me, I would sing to her until the tears stopped and her eyes would shut.

She needs me now the most to be there for her, to comfort her until the pain goes away, but how can I help her when I can’t even think straight. Every thought in my head felt like it was a bullet that ricocheted until it collided with all of my other thoughts to where my head was so jumbled and so clustered that my temple pulsed so violently that I felt like if I moved a single muscle my body would collapse in on itself.

“Hey! Shut her up!” A boy shouted, his voice quavering. He might be 5’9’ at the most, he had bright grey eyes, his hair was a light sandy brown color and he had a very pointed looking face that had red marks on his cheeks that looked a tad peeled suggesting he had been in the sun too long and, the area around his eyes was raw so I assumed he had been crying. People like this are the reason the Earth died, too inconsiderate to care about anything but themselves. This gave me the strength I needed to get up instead of wallowing in my own self pity.

“Really!?” my voice croaked and felt like every syllable was taking the strength right out of my body, “You want an eight year old who just lost her family and friends and everything that mattered to her in life to be silent?! To just sit around like nothing happened?! That’s obviously not the case since you were doing the same thing! Next time you say something make sure you don’t sound like a hypocritical bastard? Ok?!” I realized I was shouting tried to calm myself. “Look, I don’t mean to sound rude but just turn around and mind your own business. I apologize for cursing but if you’re going to insult a crying girl then you might as well as be setting an orphanage on fire, oh wait all of the orphanages and Earth ARE on fire! I forgot! That’s why you’re picking on her huh? The world ends and all you can think about is telling a crying child to shut up. You disgust me.”

His reaction was even more obnoxious then his comment. He acted as if I had just spit on a puppy and then set it on fire, which apparently to him I might as well have. He glared at me as if I would disintegrate on the spot, he clenched his fists and flexed his arms as if to intimidate me like he was about to charge. I felt pretty confident that I could take him, I might not be a six foot six professional boxer, but I could easily take him. I returned the glare and he rolled his eyes and turned around to a group of seven, three girls and four guys. A few were on their knees crying and the others were trying to comfort them. Some of them made an impression on me, one girl who had bright red hair and the most amazing looking green eyes, they had flecks of a yellow color that made her hair just seem brighter and they had a ring of eyeliner around them that seemed to make them pop. I never found the appeal of makeup on girls but this girl looked so beautiful I realized this was the sole purpose of eye liner, for girls like this to go from gorgeous to angelic. Her slender body and raw eyes made her look so fragile, to where if someone pushed her she may die on impact. The boy who I talked too earlier got in my line of vision and blocked her off from me and I came back into reality.

I sat down next to Melody and almost instantly she crawled into my lap and cried into my shoulder. I put my arms around her to protect her from any danger that may come our way.
“S… sing….” Was all she could manage to get out. I got choked up but I managed, whatever she wanted from me I would get her, even if it meant dying, she would get whatever her heart desired.
“Sit right beside me,
I’ll tell you a story, of a place, for you… and me.
I, will guide you,
Until you don’t need me.
I’ll be there for you, forever.” Her breathing had slowed but I couldn’t stop now,
“Heed my words, like they are your god.
Send them a prayer and I’ll always answer,
I’ll always, be there, for you.” The room grew quiet.
“I’ll never leave you,
Until you don’t want me,
I’ll be, the wind, beneath, your wings.” Melody was falling under and every pair of eyes was focused on us.
“This is my story,
A story we share,
A story you knew,
A story that goes,
I love you.” I could hear the rise and fall of her chest, indicating she was finally asleep and I just sat there trying not to disturb her. Silence, this was the only thing I could manage considering the alternative is crying and that will change nothing. I wiped her tears and then looked around. Everyone was watching me with the oddest expression, as if I had just given them the most amazing gift anyone could ever get, the hatred in the boy’s eyes I had spoken with earlier was replaced with sympathy.

Chapter two

I gazed up and the girl from before was staring at me in disbelief. I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks heat up. I looked through a giant window on the side of the ship, or as I’ve now heard it been called, an Arc. Outer space looked so, uninviting. It seemed limitless, to the point where if someone threw a rock it would never come back around unless some unearthly current made it stop and come back around. That is, if outer space currents even exists.

I noticed Melody and my reflection in the window. She looked so much like her mother with her ringlets of blonde hair, flushed puffy cheeks, light blue eyes that look like the water from the Caribbean, before it was flooded with human pollution. Her ruffled pink dress even looked like something our mom would wear. The two of us together almost perfectly resembled our parents. I have our dad’s wavy, jet-black hair, his light grey eyes, and even the dark circles that surround them. I also have his unnaturally light skin to where, no matter how much I stay out in the sun it’s impossible for me to get even a small amount of color. With all that being said, I was given the name Skellatore by my fellow “Peers”. Even when the world is coming to an end, all kids these days can think about is who the biggest social outcast is. I, looking how I do and having the short temper I was so graciously given, won that by a landslide.

I might have been more popular but the lack of being able to drive didn’t help either. The age of fifteen is the most dreaded age any living soul must endure. But now that I think about it, if I could drive I’d probably be climbing the Rocky Mountains with Jade Wesley, the only person who’s not in my family that is at least semi-tolerable.

My heart just stopped all completely. Jade… She was climbing the Rockies’ when the earthquake split open the valley… The air that entered and left my lungs so easily before now stopped to the point where I was hyperventilating just to get the slightest bit of air. I had to lay Melody against a wall so I wouldn’t disturb her. Some girl rushed over to me and put her hand on my back, “Do you need help?! Are you choking?” Every word I tried to get out sounded like a dolphin getting run over by an eighteen wheeler while being set on fire. I became light headed very fast and it just got harder and harder to breath. I’ve never been choked up before so I didn’t know what to expect. I now understand why people can never get words out. It’s because it feels like someone’s melted an iron rod into your throat and is forcing you to scream bloody murder.
I finally managed to get out a word but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted to say, “G-go, Aw-ay!” She looked hurt and that was the last thing I wanted to do when she was desperately trying to help me. She began to walk away and I wanted to call to her but all I could manage was another choking sound. I felt so helpless at the moment. Tears began to roll down from my eyes as I lied down on the floor. I was obviously not going to manage to stop until I cried out completely, so I crawled over to Melody and laid down next to her. My eye lids began to grow heavy and I eventually fell under the most heavy sleep spell in my entire life.

There is a Single, maybe two Bad word used in this. I do apologize if it offended you. And yes, the chapter's are short. Ive read a lot of James Patterson recently and I like the one to three page chapter style. Lets you leave off wherever without being in the middle of a chapter! Hope you liked it!
