Since we all know that ROBLOX's filter can be fairly strict, to the point where you have to use fancy wording to tell your readers the age of your characters, we made this to free our bookwriting capabilities. As the world progresses, so do the lies people tell. In 1887, in a United States working city, workers have been constructing a transportation airship; the United States government says it will only be used for transporting goods and people. Our story opens on the morning of the day John Goodman discovers the government’s real intentions… John Goodman lived in the workers district called ‘Helius’. When John awoke, he went over to his dresser, and picked out a dark red shirt, and a pair of black pants, then went over to his closet and picked up his grey overcoat. On his way out of his room, almost without looking he picked up his light green scarf, and then wrapped it around his neck. When he finally reached the kitchen, he quickly got a cup of coffee and a bowl of oatmeal and wolfed it down. John then stood up, and walked out the front door. Bang! Bang! Bang! The sounds of people hammering one hot strips of metal, morphing them into different shapes, and all the pieces of metal, no matter how small, would play an important role on the airship. Suddenly, a man burst through the doors, “John Goodman, you are needed in the meeting hall!” He shouted. John stopped in mid-strike, then put his hammer down, got up and strode out the door. Within a few seconds of being in the hall, he was met by one of the directors of mechanics, for the airship, whose name was Leroy. “Why do you think they called us to the meeting hall?” John asked. “They probably called us for a progress report.” John nodded, satisfied, and stayed silent for the rest of the time it took us to get there. “Directors of mechanics, we have called you here today for a progress report, at this late stage of building the airship, we must know how well we are doing!” Shouted a government official, who had that I’m-so-much-more-important-than-you look about him. “John Goodman, how is your section of the airship going?” John stood up, and replied calmly “My section is going great, and we are ahead of the planned schedule.” The government official nodded, then asked the other five directors of the airship how they were doing, they all were ahead, or right on the planned schedule. “Workers, you are dismissed” John had brought some supplies, in case they were needed. As the government official walked out the door, he dropped a piece of paper. John, being curious, went over to it, and started reading the letter. It read: The airship is almost ready; the workers don’t suspect we’ll use the airship for war! They all think we’ll use it for transportation. All the divisions have made exceptional progress… The letter continued, but John had to get this information to the other directors. Soon! John was confused, why would we use an airship for war, they can easily be punctured, and brought down. Then the thought struck him, like he had been hit by a hammer, which he had been multiple times. No other country has an airship, they are considerably fast, and could drop bombs from a hatch in the belly, causing massive chaos and destruction. He started running towards Leroy, who he could see now. “Leroy! Wait! I need to tell you something!” John shouted. “What?!” Leroy shouted back. The government, they’re going to use the airship for war! If you don’t believe me, read this.” He handed Leroy the letter, who snatched it out of his hand, and folded the note back as he read. When he was done reading it, he said “I…I can’t believe this! All along, they were going to use it for war!” said Leroy outraged. “I know it’s… It’s unbelievable.” John replied. A few workers walked by, and didn’t give them any attention. He stared at the letter, outraged, as if it was the letters idea to make the airship for war. “Well, we can’t let them do this! We have to do something about this.” “I know” said John “But if they want war, well give them war.” Leroy gave him a puzzled look, seeing the look, John said “Here, let me explain more…” The dark, large room, held all the workers that had helped work on the airship. John was off to the right of the stage, not in the crowd, but standing off to the side. John started walking up the stairs, the old wood creaking surprisingly loud, or so it seemed, as the echo swept over the huge crowd. John stumbled on the last step, almost tripped, but then caught himself. He walked nervously to the center of the stage, then started speaking. “Fellow workers! I have gathered you here today to tell you that the government has lied to us. They say that the airship is used for transportation, but they are going to use it for the cruelest thing possible! War.” A confused murmur swept the crowd. John held his hand up for silence, and everyone fell silent, as if they were asleep. “Now, me and Leroy have made a plan to put an end to this!” everyone in the crowd cheered. “Now if we want this to stop, we must either ask them politely, or battle them” another murmur went through the crowd. “Now you may be asking, how can we stop war, with war? The answer is simple, we will use the airship, they will see how much misery it will cause, then they will use it for what they said it was for!” everyone cheered. All anyone could hear were the uneven marching of the workers, some yielding wrenches, others hammers, and some pitchforks. The government would think twice about lying to workers. The airship was flying overhead, while over two hundred people were on the ground, with the weapons of workers. Then suddenly, a group of people came around of the corner, wearing the U.S. uniform. There were only about one hundred of them; they were probably told that it was just a few people, getting angry about the airship. But they were wrong. They were a big group, and were REALLY angry about the airship. Then suddenly, the world seemed to explode with noise. The front lines of the workers army was breached by the U.S. forces. The next few hours were chaos, the U.S. army forces were amazingly good, and were destroying the workers. Everything seemed like it was being swallowed by darkness, they were losing, and everyone was getting tired. The airship had not helped them yet, but it soon would. The workers had mounted guns on the airship, and were soon going to help. Then suddenly everything went quite, but was soon broken by the sounds of guns firing, from the massive airship up above. Then everything turned into Chaos, the U.S. forces started falling, from what was left of them, and the workers forced the remaining numbers back. It had been a gruesome battle, but they had finally won. A letter came in the mail to John’s house a week later. It read: You may have already found out what the airship was really for, by your recent actions, we assumed as much. What you demonstrated was that only bad things could come from using that airship for war, and lying to you and all your fellow workers. We are not going to use it for war, but for transportation now. Sincerely, United States official, Wenstol Edited by SPIRITnU, Jul 30 2012, 08:35 PM.
