Hey guys, anyone got any ideas for the new site. For starters I guess I should kind of lay out the new direction I'm wanting to go with it. It's not so much a new direction as a more narrowed down one. In the past I have always tried to be a sort of gamer bulletin board where tons of gamers could come in, fill out a profile, and connect with other gamers. After the original RPGx went down we just never got our numbers back up enough to pull it off. So, now I'm not so much interested in that as actually being a developer / publisher. I would like to focus more on our home grown games and turning them into presentable products either free or for sale. For the home page I pretty much plan to just stick with project/site news and updates. No more trying to come up with news events or any of that stuff that nobody really used. Of course we will have forums, and live chat. What other features should we have on the site. I'm hoping by narrowing down the options the site will actually see MORE use from us and attract more attention. And of course with a more basic site, there should be less management involved meaning more time to work on projects. |
