The Garden is an Arena in Galbadia, built into what is now a condemned sports arena. A projection is up around the exterior so that only those who know this place's secret may witness it in its true form. There are Four Types of Activities you can participate in at the Arena:

Arena Challenges pit you against groups of enemies, waves of enemies and unusually strong enemies in a test of strength. Completing each challenge the first time will net you a prize. You may modify these challenges with Boasts

Tournaments are special events occasionally organized to name a champion of sorts. These are held in single elimination format and usually have larger prizes. Tournaments are organized using their own threads when they are held.

League Play is always going on throughout the year, and has prizes at the end of the calendar year for the warriors who do the best, as well as prizes for your individual matches.

Exhibition Matches are one on one fights where both combatants make a wager and the winner walks away with the spoils.

These are the rules to remember in the arena:

  • Tournament and League competition threads do not count towards your RPC's overall RP thread limit.
  • In League Play, you fight each opponent once during the calendar year. Your rank in the league is based on the overall number of wins and losses you have. Ties neither help nor harm you.
  • In order to take on an Arena Challenge, you must post a response to this thread naming the Arena Challenge you wish to face. Your NPCer will put up an Arena thread for you.
  • In League Play, either combatant may start their respective thread. In Tournament Play, a tournament judge controlled by the tournament organizer will start the thread.
  • In league play, you should post your match thread as a response to this thread, as well as whom the winner of the match was.
  • Victory in League and Tournament matches have rewards of 100 Quest Points each. The prize for the champions and other winners may vary.
  • You may Sign up for the league by responding to this thread with your RPC name and link.

These are the Arena's Actual Rules of Combat:
  • NPC Allies are alright for Challenges and exhibition matches, but forbidden from League and Tournament Play. The same is true for Vehicles.
  • Property Obviously cannot be used.
  • In the event an RPC undergoes profile updates during the season or a tournament, the changes are effective the beginning of their next match.
  • The Arena is, by all rights, a property. As such, don't be surprised to see the Arena floor littered with traps, turrets and other nasty surprises to darken your day.

Arena Challenges

Rules:

  • You cannot compete in a cup until you've completed its predecessor. The cups are in order with the lower ranked cups first and the higher ranked cups the bottom.
  • You cannot compete in the higher matches in a cup until you've completed the lower matches. No skipping to the Championship match!
  • Entering with groups of RPCs can net you a bonus.
    Two RPCs: Double Prizes
Three or more RPCs: Triple Prizes
  • You may choose to "Run the Guantlet" on any cup, completing each challenge in succession without rest. Doing this will earn you double their combined prizes.
