Breakdancing my way along a corridor, it appears I have broken time and space and disappeared from the stairwell, still covered in snow. I smell coffee and head towards it, still breakdancing.

Clock: (6) You expertly kick the coffee pot into John's vulnerable shin, rolling (4) for attack. The pot makes a small crack in John's lower leg bone, as the pot shatters. Glass embeds itself in his flesh. He'll still be able to walk, but for how long?

Neutrino: (2) As the anomaly responsible for your current situation wears off. you materialize back into reality, the tips of your fingers on your right hand stuck in the floor, and boiling coffee all around you, searing you. You can see through the tears another worker kick a coffee pot into the shin of another, and a small snap can be heard.

I joyously head downstairs to embark upon the maze of suffering. A man tumbles down the stairs ahead of me, and as he comes to a rest at the bottom I walk past him and give a friendly wave with my tape-coated hands.

I frown, attempting to stand and limp down the other flight. I lean heavily on the railing.

Looking at my hand somewhat indifferently I wonder who was screaming. After feeling my straight face with my left hand and feeling my agape jaw, I realized I was screaming. That was annoying, so I stopped. Instead I laid down in the boiling coffee taking in the heat, and slowly adjusting to the extreme temperature. I hoped my hand could somehow be restored to its unstuck state.

"CHAU!" I scream once more before assuming my straight face and idle laying in the coffee and demonic staring at the man whose leg was presumably maimed by a coffee-pot. I hoped I was magical.

I walk up the stairs, head still slightly reeling from falling.

Clock: (5) You successful enter the maze, although waving at the man on the floor brings a mild throbbing pain to your splinter filled hand.

Neutrino: (3) Your hand remains stuck, and your other arm struggles to move your jaw. You eventually pop it back into place, but screaming brings pain to you.

Maximum: (5) Your head feels mildly better as you walk into the employee lounge. You can see a worker with his hand stuck in the ground somehow, another worker with a dented shin and glass laying around him, and Mike Chau running into a maze made entirely of mirrors.

I gaze into the mirrors and glass of the maze.
The corridors were frightening, even to the mighty Mike Chau. I cautiously proceed into them, strange sounds and rhythms (like these) filling my head and intensifying as I progressed deeper into the maze.

I stumble through the door to floor 998, looking around for anything useful while trying not to further injure myself.

(You fell to floor 998, you reached 999 earlier when you fell down the first flight of stairs.)
