Sapiens:
Homo Sapiens are the most unpredictable of races. While they tend to have a common underlying taint of greed and gluttony, humans can vary from the most lionhearted of individuals to the most sick and depraved. Humans have the most diverse set of appearances as well, though the dominance of their genetic variations changes from region to region across the globe. Humans are the most wise of races, their mind prone to science and scholarship; they can easily adapt to new places and scenarios; however, they are quicker to emotional response then most, easy to anger and quick to depression.

Bravine:
Bravine were once races of nobility and honour, before the cataclysm. Never sullying themselves with the blood of battle, their wars were fought through scheming and sabotage. However, the cataclysm brought the highest race to an equally low stature. Bravine are now treated as valuable servants and trophies, used by their masters due to their bodies or appearance. They are the most cunning of races, gifted with wit and quick thinking, and their blood possesses remarkable healing capabilities, especially with illness. They rarely get sick and birth defects and disabilities are almost nonexistent. Bravine have light blue blood, granting them pale skin.; their hair is silvery-white and their eyes range from pale violet to indigo in colour, though on occasion they can take on a bluer tone. They maintain an emotionless and cold personality, though they feel as any other; they are just good at hiding it. They are the closest in form to humans, and rumours are whispered that they are a perfected form of the race. Because of this, they are treated poorly by humans more often than not.

Elves:
Elves are a race of athleticists, whose less-worldly ways caused them to foresee the cataclysm and try and prepare for it. They are an arrogant race, however, and were struck down no less than the others. Elves tend towards more druidic and pagan beliefs, to the chagrin of other races, and as such are more capable of casting than most. They are human in appearance, though taller, slenderer, and with pointed ears (for better hearing). They are agile creatures, more perceptive and observant than their brethren races.

Dwarves/Halflings:
Dwarves and Halflings are essentially the same, though slight genetic variances determine their placement. Dwarves dwell beneath the earth in caves, and are remarkable craftsman; Halflings dwell on the surface, in burrows, and are capable herbalists and gardeners. Both races are more physically strong than most, and their mindset is well-adapted for stealth; the reason for this being that their size makes them easier prey, and they must fight and sneak to stay alive. The two also band together for this reason, and are commonly found in communities together.

Mischling:
Faithless tainted by the cataclysm, passing their corruption on through reproduction, are individuals bearing the features- and sometimes skills or personalities- of other lesser mammals. Often defined by furry pointed ears, the presence of tails, or otherwise animalistic features, Mischling are looked upon by suspicion by other races; though not quite as looked-upon with scorn and hatred as the Bravine more commonly are.

Disciples:
Individuals chosen by Guardians to go forth and carry out their will, to bear powers and personality like the being they serve.

Apprentices:
Individuals chosen to serve Keepers, granted remarkable casting skill and sometimes divine gifts of supernatural weapons and armour.

Reapers:
Individuals born with Reaperism, the unquenchable desire to kill. Reapers are pure warriors, their mind and body naturally developing highly-advanced physical and mental capabilities, however with each kill they are twisted a little bit, their soul growing in size and power, but in return they absorb a piece of who they killed.

Igni:
Individuals consumed by or in the process of corruption from an Ignic Shard, a piece of the long-incarcerated rebel Guardian who turned on his brothers. These people are slowly coated in black plates of intimidating armour, and granted the mighty powers of shape-bending and Ignic fire. It slowly corrupts their body and mind, however, turning them into a lesser version of Ignis (the Guardian) himself.
