It's the year 2116, and it's amazing what can happen in one-hundred short years. We have colonies on the moon and Mars, and have been traveling through the endless expanse of space. However, forty years ago, conflict arose when one of the colonial ships from earth was caught in alien pirate airspace, and these pirates did not take invasion lightly. As a result, there have been small skirmishes around established human trading outposts. In response to said threat, the world's governments have agreed to have a truce until this problem is resolved, pooling all their military recourses together to form what is now called "The Lunar Defence."

Now what does this have to do with angsty teenagers? Well, for the past twenty-nine years, the skirmishes have been getting worse, and the human race has begun to feel the stress of possible intergalactic war. A giant military base/school was built on the moon, as to easier train and ship off soldiers to protect the outposts in the most danger. Due to the escalating nature of the attacks, The Lunar Defense has pseudo-drafted children as young as fourteen to join the school. Although going to the base is still voleneer-only, Your parents/guardians have... Ahem... persuaded you to go for one reason or another. As you train, you grow more restless, wanting to go back to the thing you left behind on earth. There are always roomers floating around about how to escape this place on the moon and get back home, but it's just mostly gossip to pass the time when the kids get bored. Dispite this, you have found a few others that are just as serious about getting home as you are. Together you just might find a way back to earth.

It's been two months since you were shoved onto this space-rock of a school, and you hate it. There was military training intograted into your education at home, but nothing like this. The threat of death felt almost real here, though you still laughed it off. You weren't going to stay here! You had things to get back to at home! That aside, there was one good thing about being in this horrible place. The Mec-suits. They were wonders to behold. These suits were fifty-five years in the making, and the moon base always had the latest models. Thanks to human engineering, with a little help from trades in information with alien races, the human race was able to build things and advance their technology far faster then one could ever imagine. These Mec-suits were the biggest representation of that. The ones that were on earth were not nearly as sophisticated as the ones you got to work with on a daily basis, but in the end, it still wasn't enough. You needed to get home.

Ever since you woke up this morning, you have heard roomers that there was an alien on the base, and not just any alien either. One of the pirate children. Not many people out of combat have seen them, but you get taught what they are and what they look like in school. Though you are enemies now, humanity's ultimate goal is to be in, at the very least, neutral standing with them. From what you understand about the whisperings, an alien ship crash-landed on the moon, and one of the centuries on patrol spotted the alien this morning, crawling to the base and gasping for air. The odd thing was, she wasn't wearing a suit! You shake your head, certain that these were all just stories and walk to lunch with your crew. Little did you know... The stories were true.
If you want my best, you must give me time in return.
