Elizabeth stood in silence, awaiting orders. She assessed everyone in the car and she thought they were all welcoming enough. She took a moment to wave to the rest of the group and give a small smile. No use in working together if you can't get along.
If you want my best, you must give me time in return.

"Wow," Seua groans as he hits his head against the top of the jeep. He hesitates for a moment, looking expectantly at the jeep, his guncase sitting on the ground in front of him. "America? Right?" He looks around at the snow and whispers to himself. "It's so big..."

Cali grabs her grey duffle bag and her rifle in its case from the back of the jeep. She hauls the duffle over her shoulder and looks around her surroundings. Central Park, all guarded with a secure perimeter. It seemed odd to Cali, the most beautiful part of New York, sealed off in the dead of winter. Bizarre ideas of what her job would be ran through her head. A squirrel cull? Hippie removal?
"America is big. Extravagant in all arenas. So extravagant that they even import their soldiers." She says in reply to Seua.
She looks to Elizabeth. Her saccharine cheer was clearly indicative of her age. Young, still oblivious to the horrors of war. Cali gives a small, twitchy nod of acknowledgement to the airman, and then says austerely: "I'm going to find the commanding officer of this op and ask them what the hell is going on. Any of you are welcome to join me."

Seua notices the emblem on the woman's collar and shoulder. He nods and follows the staff sergeant, still in awe of the large buildings all around, and wide, less crowded streets.

I recline on the leather couch on the inside of my custom Pink Hummer Limo, party music playing loudly as several of my security guards and I enjoy Jägerbombs. Two pink painted former military Humvees with heavy machine gun mounts drive behind and in front of the limo, manned by crews of 4 security members each. The convoy of 3 pulls into the hastily constructed central park road, stopping next to the actual military vehicles parked outside of the strange structure I had paid to be allowed to inspect. The door to the limo opens, and a small staircase automatically lowers down onto the grass. I step out holding a shot glass, wearing a pristine dark green suit with a money pattern tie. I turn to the military officers standing around.
"Good morning gentlemen, Prawn Laquan; Reality TV Star and Owner of Laquan Technologies, at your service."
My two security officers walk out from inside the limo, brandishing Tec-9s. The Humvees aim their machine gun turrets around.
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

True to Finnish stereotype, Kaisa wasn't much for conversation, much less in America and in a language that was not her native language. Who knew? Americans were weird, but it had all the permissions and authority. It checked out, but it seemed odd that she didn't know any fellow Finns. Despite this, Kaisa had taken the opportunity to assess American engineering. So this was the famed Central Park. Somehow Kaisa had imagined it to be less serene, and more obnoxious. Eyes landing on the structure, the gate looked completely out of place.

Renaissance-like architecture, with an otherworldly quality Kaisa could not place, clearly roped off with heavy military guard surrounding it. Were they trying to make a statement about warfare and police states? Perhaps modern art was getting out of hand...

Kaisa's eyes flicked to the woman who had taken the initiative to go and find the commanding officer, insignia Kaisa recognized as belonging to a staff sergeant of the Indian Navy. Kaisa followed solemnly.

Stunned, Cali walks up to Prawn. "What exactly, are you?" She says, looking at the pink Humvee and the guards in awe.
America. She thinks. Something like this seems like its out of a low-quality Bollywood drama.
She takes a step back, and reorients her self casually to display the chevrons on her jacket with the intention of reminding him that she was really in charge.

I take the shot of vodka I was holding and snap both of my fingers to point at the military officer.
"I'm very rich. I'm your sponsor! HEEYYYYY! It's me! Ya boy! I'm a billionare!"
The Security teams remove the machine guns from the tops of the Humvees, discarding them in the clearing so that they meet standards. I grab a cooler full of cherry vodka from inside the Hummer Limo and hand it to the officer.
"My gift to you m'lady."
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.
