"I think we are fine, but it's up to the operation leader. Chief, what is your call?" Seua checks his radio as he says so, his foot planted on the rope line. |

"We'll press on." she says, whacking her radio with her palm. "Keep an eye out for anything suspicious. I have a bad feeling about this." |

The group continues walking. It seems like you've been traveling for miles, despite the fact that the forest seemed a lot smaller on the outside. Perhaps you were lost? But, Kaisa was carrying a rope... That was only several hundred feet long, and she'd yet to feel resistance. |

Kaisa hadn't gone without noticing the rope was still slack. She pulled the rope somewhat experimentally. "Chief. The rope is still slack. I don't think we are anchored to anything anymore." |

Gonzo approaches the sergeant. "Slicky, this reminds me of my families tomato garden, I always used to get lost in it for days! We should head back before the pigeons that lurk the forest grove succumb to hunger!" Gonzo clutches a small statue of himself tightly, praying to it. |

Ash had remained silent to this point, trying to watch his surroundings the best he could. Besides if anyone's gonna bag a beast it's gonna be me. He didn't really care about the man's Johnson, he was just glad he was out of their way. Now what really bothered Ash was the weather. "I dont get it, climate doesn't just up an' change like that!" Ash scratched his head in confusion, what the hell is this place? They called her slick right? "Slick, we could try an' bag some fauna for the research team, but I'm startin to not like our situation a whole lot, weird stuffs happenin an we don't got any way to call for support." The group continues on through the winding paths of the forest, wandering for quite a while. What time was it? The sun seemed to still be out, but the wisps of light showing through the canopy above were a shade of orange, so it was most likely late afternoon by now. Now, finally, you all arrive at a clearing. The trees seem to form a perfect circle here, giving you an unobstructed view of the relatively cloudy sky above. It still appears to be snowing, but it melts as it nears the forest's unnaturally warm temperature, save for the treetops covered in the stuff. In the middle of the clearing lay a single, exceptionally large tree. It's appearance is unlike anything you've seen before. The bark is a pale, nearly-white color, and the leaves towards the base of the tree are a light cyan, gradually changing into a lavender, then magenta-like color further towards it's canopy. How could this plant survive without chlorophyll? Besides the abnormally colored tree, the area is partially surrounded by the same violet flowers seen earlier, that seem to follow your every move like hundreds of eyes, making the otherwise fantastic, tranquil scene rather unsettling. The symmetry of the design seemed rather unnatural, as if crafted intelligently by mother nature.

"Yeah. With every step I take, I begin to hate this situation a bit more." She grimaces. Kaisa's rope had yet to tighten up, and they'd been walking for a while now. Odd, but then again, this place was filled with oddities. "I suppose we must of lost it." she says. She know that is something else that is causing all this, but is to afraid to actually say something, like most of the group. "And that's a no to going hunting, Winters. I think we can do things like that when we have at least a good idea of what we are hunting and where exactly we are." |

She simply nodded in agreement -- every part of this forest served to unnerve and awe. Kaisa approaches the tree with her LMG at the ready in the case of animals, admiring its pigments, wondering if it would be possible to take samples. |

Elizabeth holds her gun closer, stone silent. Pale and clamy, she wanders around the forest dayzed and slit lay scared. |
