LAQUAN
Bliss pauses for a moment to think, before loudly sighing through the megaphone. "Alright, Laquan! We will return the military-grade ordinance to your vehicle on TWO conditions! You will be taught the Rules of Engagement, and you will have a soldier with you in your vehicle at all times to drive and keep you in check! Is that clear?!" he yells, rather tired of this whole situation. "And someone get him some goddamn clothes!"

ELIZABETH
You follow the men carrying Ash's unconscious body back to the bunks where you were all sleeping before, and laying him down. The soldier that is evidently the squad leader tells one of his inferiors to go and grab a humvee to transport him back through the gate, since there's no onsite medical equipment yet. The squad leader looks to you, extremely confused. "Air Force...?" he says, stifling a laugh. "You're messing with me, right? There were no air force personnel assigned to the mission. Shouldn't you be on guard duty at a base?" he continues, before looking over your uniform and grimacing. "Ooh, well, that would explain the uniform. Yeesh, looks like someone had a major miscommunication in who we were sending here." he says, before nearly bursting out laughing at the mention of a field medic in the air force. "No, no, he's fine. Just leave it to the real doctors back through the gate. Though, you could always start filling out a report and document the survivors and casualties. Much more fitting for a member of the chair force." he finally finishes, chuckling at his own joke, patting you on the shoulder, turning on his heel, and leaving the tent to go and check on his squadmates without returning a handshake.

JAKOB, SEUA, and KAISA
Jakob's vague threat is met mostly with ignorance and the rolling of eyes from nearby soldiers, and the commanding officer seems to be too busy with Laquan at the moment to respond. The woman looks over at Leofric and sighs in relief. Leofric responds to Kaisa with a "But of course!" as the woman begins conversing with him. The conversation is mostly one sided, with Leofric occasionally saying things like "Ah, I see." or, "Mhm."

The woman gestures to all of the soldiers and asks something in a curious tone. Leofric responds with "Yes, well, I don't know much about them either. But they seem to be friendly enough." he says in response. They finally wrap up their conversation and Leofric turns to the group, and the woman waits patiently with her arms crossed. "So, to keep things short, since you've all got far more important tasks to perform, I'll give you the short version. This young lady here is known as Amara, and she wishes to thank you for defeating the elemental, and protecting the forest over there. She claims she is the local priest of Nylea. She also wishes to know more about who you people are, and where you come from, as I do. That would be all, for now. If you wish to converse with her yourselves, I can translate, of course, though this enchantment may not last much longer." he says, standing aside as Amara gives a curt bow.

Your job at the moment is to look for survivors, so it might be better to allow them to stay at the base overnight. It's extremely late, anyways, so it isn't exactly the most appropriate time to have a friendly conversation.

I snap my fingers and give a thumbs up.
"Oh heck yeah bud, I'm the coolest!"
I walk over to my Limo open one of the doors, pulling out a neon pink silk robe and putting it on.
"Who's going to give me my license to kill?"
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

Jakob lets out a long winded sigh, shaking the last remnants of responsibility for Ash's condition off his mind, he turns to Amara and Leofric, speaking, "Why did she run up to me? What was she saying earlier?", he questions.
To put your minds at ease, the police already know.

Kaisa nods at Amara, assessing the woman. "Thank you, Amara. To... brief you on the subject, I believe we're from another world and we were investigation a gate which served as a cross-dimensional portal." Kaisa said bluntly, not mincing any words to soften the impact of this revelation. There was no point — the woman had already seen people slaughtered before her here, Kaisa told it like it was. "We're an expedition group, and we mean no threat." Although, Kaisa doubted that at the amount of firepower they hand, like the tanks that had taken down the elemental. After the elemental, she was grateful for them — and learned just to accept it.

"We can tell you more in the morning, but we're focusing on recovering and stabilizing survivors." She hoped that explanation in the morning. "But we're very interested what you can tell us in the morning, and we can provide protection and medical for your help." Kaisa's eyes scanned the sky. The day had stretched out, but the night had come. She wondered if someone had been tracking the celestial bodies yet, to record the day. "It has been a long night, so I will let you rest. We have camp set up, where we have medical treatment and food." She gestured towards the camp site.

Kaisa turned to Leofric once again, glancing over the field for more survivors. "Leofric, you will be our translator... how does this... enchantment work?"

JAKOB
Leofric asks Amara what she was talking about earlier, she speaks a few short sentences, and he turns to you to relay the message. "She simply says not to be worried about it. It's irrelevant, now."

KAISA
Leofric re-iterates what you said back to Amara, who looks rather confused, as she relays her message back to him, who then relays it back to the group. "She, er, much like myself, is rather confused as to what most of the words you've said mean. But, she'll disregard that for now, and she will await back at your camp." he says. Upon being designated translator he blurts out "Excellent! I am glad I may be of use to you kind soldiers. As for the enchantment, well, I'm not exactly experienced in magic myself, but the enchantment allows me to hear any language as my own, and vice versa when I myself speak." he explains rather bluntly, as if you're just supposed to understand believe that it works.

LAQUAN
Two soldiers enter the vehicle and look around it's interior, rather impressed. One of them whistles, remarking all of the fancy functions you've installed. "Bliss says we'll be keeping an eye on you, and, uh, teaching you when and when you aren't allowed to shoot a man." one says, before clearing his throat. "We'll just be brief here, since we're here to supervise you anyway, but the rules for the use of force are as follows-" he says, before going into brief detail about when it is appropriate to draw a gun, fire weaponry, threaten others, etc etc, putting emphasis on only using weaponry when there is an imminent threat. "-Alright, that should be all. The name's Sergeant Groves, that there's Corporal Simon." he says, gesturing to himself and the other soldier brought in with him. "Do you have anymore questions?"

I press a button and a minigun the length of a car slides out of the floor of the limo, solo cups and a few valuable necklaces falling into the opening.
"In exchange for your service, consider this a gift. Sargent Groves, Corporal Simon, it's a pleasure to meet you. Drinks?"
I cupholder with three glasses of tequila slides out of a cooler in the wall.
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

Cali stands back while Kaisa and Leofric talk it out with this priestess.
Magic? Priestesses? Elementals? Fucking talking suits of armour?
She was not ready for this mission with the obstacles one might find in a C-rate sword and sorcery cartoon that would air on Saturday mornings. Taliban? Sure. Al-qaeda? Bring them on. This? This was something far too weird. At least you knew what you were getting with the Taliban.
Kaisa seems to be handling all this with tact. Cali decides to let Kaisa figure this all out for the moment, then she'll make an executive decision.
Are you new here? Do you need help? Do you have questions? PM me!

LAQUAN
Groves and Simon stare in awe at the excessively large minigun, before forcibly holding in their laughter at the sheer levels of poor engineering and design. The two shake their heads for the offer of Tequila. "Can't drink on the job."

JOHN
Much has happened since you've been completely ignored by everyone. They probably took you for another one of Laquan's dumb grunts. Speaking of which, you should probably check in with him. Or don't. He probably doesn't care either way. Since you're not contracted into the military, you're not obligated to help look for survivors either, though you might as well considering you don't have much else to do.

OTHERS
Amara wordlessly turns on her heel and begins walking towards your base camp. You should probably inform the others she isn't an intruder.

Kaisa pretended she knew what Leofric was talking about, grunting occasionally as he explained. She watches Amara leave to camp. Kaisa assigns soldiers to watch over and escort Amara back to camp. "Make sure she gets there safely and gets medical attention if necessary." Then dismisses them before talking to Leofric again, eyes scanning the horizon for other survivors. "And how long does this enchantment last?"

I stand and hand each of the soldier's 100 dollars.
"If you want to see the newest creation of me, the world's GREATEST TECHNICAL MASTERMIND TO EVER LIVE, then follow me!"
I step out of the Pleasure Palace, as behind me the minigun is lifted up through an opening in the roof. A large inflatable slide expands out of the side of the roof, and the gun is rolled down it by the tilting of the platform it is on. I step out into the clearing near the pleasure palace and begin shouting into a megaphone.
"Feast your eyes, puny humans, upon the newest and greatest creation by Laqaun industries!"
I press a button on my Prawn Engineering and Networking Intelligence Society Phone, the third best selling phone in Nigeria, and the trunk of the pleasure palace opens. A humanoid robot with a red siren light for a head clumsily stumbles out of the trunk and walks over to stand next to me.

"Behold! The Laqaun Model X robot, called SCRONDER by our research teams! Unlike that robotic faggotry you'll find at our competitors like DARPA, the Scronder has two .22 caliber pistols built into it's arms, and can jump! I no longer need the help of flesh folk like yourselves, not with my beautiful buoyant blazing boy here!"
I press a button that makes Scronder wave with one of it's gun arms, then another button that causes Scronder to begin playing music:
