"Awe man! Isn't he great? He's so cool, and makes such great weapons! You know, he gave me this helmet I'm wearing for my birthday last year, it can protect against a lot of bullets supposedly! Although, my skin on my face has been getting pale and the targeting system hurts my eyes, but check out how cool I look! Man, if only I had met him earlier than two years ago I'd be more like him! Where is he? Did he bring his big hummer limo? That thing is great!"
I say all of this with almost child-like glee, one of my eyelids twitching.
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

"He's missing. He ran off into the wild in a fit of rage. We haven't heard from him since." she says, deadpan.

Elizabeth double-checks her gear then connives her silence, takeing in all that has been happening. She's used to strange situations but this was honestly rediculus. And what. The. Hell. Is all this going to mean in the long run? Is there even a point to this? She desires to wait until she found a way to get some answers before takeing any action.
If you want my best, you must give me time in return.

KAISA, CALI, SEUA, ELIZABETH, SILVER, JAKOB
All of your radios click with a brief moment of static before Bliss' familiar voice crackles over the speakers. "Alright, enough sitting around, soldiers, it's time you get your asses moving. Anyone who hasn't taken their spot in the convoy is getting left behind! Forward scouting platoon, move out!" he shouts, looking on from the entrance of his tent, before adding a quick, "Good luck out there." as the static on your radios cuts out. The low rumble of engines revving up sounds throughout the air as the various military vehicles start rolling through the thick snowfall, getting off to a slow start as they make their way through the rough, unmarked terrain. Jakob's chauffeur follows behind in the corporate car, somewhat unsuited for the off-road travel they were about to embark on. Amara is startled by the sudden movement and bumpy ride, as is Leofric in the car with Kaisa, who is busy entertaining himself by drawing rather intricate pictures on the fogged up windows.

JOEL
You see the large convoy of humvees, trucks, and several tanks leaving without you. Unless you break into a full on sprint and hop on one the transports, you'd get your ass left behind without any opportunity to do what you were paid to do, unless you plan to steal a car or snow mobile from the camp.

Arms crossed and bracing through the bumps, Kaisa peered at the intricate pictures Leofric was drawing on the window. "What's that?" she asked briefly, before glancing at the road ahead of them for any dangers. "Where are we going?" She inquired to Leofric.

a benevolent entity

Joel, knowing he won't be able to catch up with trucks by running alone, turns and sprints for the snowmobiles. Entering the tarpaulin quonset hut pretecting the vehicles and their maintenance equipment from the cold, Joel snatches up a set of keys from a toolbox and hops onto the nearest snowmobile. He reaches into his pouch and pulls a scarf out, tying it around his face, and then buttons up his duster. Finished proofing himself from the cold and wind to come, he starts the machine and roars off after the convoy.

ALL
After Joel finally catches up with the convoy, they've gotten to their full speed, or, as fast as they can go in this rough terrain.

In Kaisa's car, Leofric turns to Kaisa, responding to her inquiry. "I'm detailing the remaining formations that the imperial army could take in the event that they have not already fled from the battlefield. Though, I cannot suggest any proper battle plans without knowing the capabilities if your own army, but we may discuss that later." he says, before peering through the windshield at the front of the car, and pointing towards the clearing between the mountains that Laquan had earlier used to exit the valley. "There. The imperial camp, if it remains, would be just through there, and beyond that, we should arrive Carden Village, assuming we are to find the road. They are not too fond of the imperials having been occupied for several days on the way here, so presenting yourself as a benevolent, but opposing army should win their favor." he says as the driver nods, continuing along the straight path. The driver mumbles "I can't believe I'm taking directions from a suit of armor..."

One of the tank commanders looks to Joel as he follows the convoy. He grabs his radio and begins speaking. "Seems like we've got someone who missed their ride. Should we slow down and let him on?" he asks, as another soldier quickly responds with a chuckle. "Maybe if he runs out of gas."

As the convoy finally exits the valley, they discover the weather conditions that Laquan and his men had previously encountered when exploring. The snowfall becomes far heavier, and the wind picks up, blasting freezing cold air up against those seated in trucks, and Joel on his snow mobile. The snowfall makes it all but impossible to see for those driving vehicles. "Can't see shit!" yells the driver from the front car, pausing for a moment, before speaking again. "Wait, I see a few lights up ahead."

I look out of the window, my hands ready on my machine gun.
"Let's get ready for action! Oh yeah, we can't be stopped by anything!"
I lean out the window to get a better view.

The cold weather was nothing to Kaisa, having grown up on the northern tip of Finland but its otherworldly properties seemed to bite more than at home. To Leofric's explanation of his battle plans, she examined and kept a track of them, "Ah. So tell me about the Imperium." Kaisa asks. It was one thing to gun down an elemental giant but another to kill sentient beings. She radios Bliss with the newly gained information of Carden Village and, tells him to listen in on Leofric's explanation of the Imperium.
