"Oh boy, this sure makes me all peeved." Mr. Ferris says. He chugs back the rest of his drink and then journeys back to his quarters to pack his bag and then abandon ship. "I better get a refund for THIS!"

I pull out my Harley Davidson key.
"This is vaguely a knife, want to give it a try?"
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

As you finish speaking over the intercom, the ambient wailing noise sounds almost muted for a second, before it comes back in full force, accompanied by a colossal beam of crackling energy from above, striking the top deck and slowly sweeping across it, melting cleanly through the hull. You and the sailor are both knocked onto your backs as the bridge windows shatter inward by a massive blast wave. Alarms start blaring, warning of catastrophic hull breaches across the beam's path. After a large chunk of the ship has been severed by the beam, a flurry of lightning strikes overwhelm it and in a blinding emerald flash, it is completely gone. The remainder of the ship starts tipping dangerously as water floods in and the beam starts carving up yet another piece.

Ave and Bunny

The hall shakes intensely as a deafening wail overwhelms you both. A beam of emerald energy cuts clean through the ship, about 50 meters away from you, letting in a torrent of seawater.

Ferris

You hastily hurry to your cabin, rushing inside and packing your hopefully few possessions. As you flee towards the lifeboats, the hull shakes violently as you hear the sound of steel beams creaking and grinding.

Everyone

The evacuation alarm is sounded as the ship takes on a dangerous tilt. Everyone on the ship runs to the lifeboats in a panic, only a handful of staff trying fruitlessly to put the screaming crowd into order.

The blazing viridian flashes that light up her room only seem to stab at Elizabeth's eyes, make her nausea deepen. She stiffly rises, stumbling towards the bathroom before the intercom blares over the competing sounds of thunder and engine. She blinks, slowly, hearing words but not meaning, hollow sounds. The following lurch of the boat sends her tripping over to the carpet, her fall broken by her suitcase, packed in a premature if apathetic anticipation of arrival.

She realises she hasn't been drinking, or smoking, that the heavy rocking of the ship is real. The words of warning that came over the intercom finally register. She hauls her suitcase up, fumbling across the room by the brief snatches of light that bleed through the window, breaking out into the hall and finding her way towards the deck.

"It's better then nothing..." She takes the key, and jabs it into her leg, biteing her hand so she doesn't break her teath. She dig into her skin giving out a small scream before yanking the bullet out. She then rips a small cloth on her dress and ties it to her leg to stop the blood. "We need to get on a lifeboat."

horrible thing

Leona stares in awe and horror as the beam practically cleaves the ship in two before being blasted backwards onto the ground. There wasn't any hope for saving the other passengers at the moment, she had to save herself, first. She looks for the nearest life jacket (as well as one for the other staff member) and quickly scurries to the nearest open area that wouldn't get her trapped inside the ship underwater.

I stare in shock at the beam cutting the ship in half, and turn to Ave.
"Very bad! This is worse than when those militants attacked my convoy! Quickly, we've got to make it to the inflatables, do you know where they are?"
I continue to help Ave stand up, considering she just dug a bullet out of her leg with a key.
I wish to get off Mr. Bone's Wild ride.

You easily find one of the numerous life jackets in the room, but the sailor has already ran off in a panic, leaving you behind. The beam carves up yet another piece of the ship up which is promptly consumed by another swarm of green lightning strikes. You can hear faint screaming through the unnatural wailing and raging storm, as everyone rushes for the lifeboats in a panic.

Ave and Bunny

You easily spot the paniced crowd swarming out of the bar. While the majority makes it, the rest are cut off by the beam, some seemingly incinerated while others remain stranded on the a sinking chunk of the ship. A few attempt to jump the widening gap while others accept their fate. You reach the lifeboats, which are filled up and dropped alarmingly fast! Surely there will be enough space for everyone, right?

Ferris and Elizabeth

You both depart from your cabins and rush to the hall to see yet another point of bisection. You catch the tail of a panicking crowd, a limping pop-artist and a Nigerian amongst them, following them to the lifeboats.

Antony

Antony rushes to the lifeboats, trying to direct the mob.

Niel

Your cabin takes an extreme tilt as you end up stuck on a severed chunk of the Freeway. An ear-shattering wail screeches through your head as a flurry of energy starts swarming all over.
