Gunveer wandered around the docks, looking for a ship that would offer him a job. He has some experience with mechanics, which he hopes will get him a living. An English airship catches his eye, sleek yet intimidating design, Gunveer has seen many like this one. He approaches the ship carefully. |

I look up through the glass above the helm and see an intriguing man of what looked like middle-eastern descent approaching the ship. I excuse myself, leaving Erik with the maps as I step out to greet the newcomer. |

Gunveer noticed the man walking out of the ship and walked towards him. "Hello, I am Gunveer Singh, are you the captain of this fine ship". Gunveer introduced graciously, extending his hand. |

Erik finishes with the maps, looking up to see the newcomer step aboard the vessel. Hm, well, we could always use more Crew, I suppose., Erik thinks to himself. Perhaps... He could... assist me with my project... He does seem the repairing type... Erik puts the maps down for now, stepping down the ladder to the main deck, straightening his cap. |

"Is that your first officer"? He asked, nodding at the Germanic-looking man exiting the ship. |

"All of the above Sir". Gunveer answered politely, shaking the man's hand. "Fine ship you have there". He complimented, staring at the ship intently? "English built"? |

I turn to the partially rusted vessel, ropes and cables swaying and clanging in the breeze, regarding the man's words with uncertainty. "English-made, for the war. It was stripped and put up for auction. Got it for several thousand pounds, most of my life's savings. Nobody wanted to bid higher for a ship like that." I turn back to him. "Welcome aboard. Do you have any specialized skills for naval vessels?" I ask, looking proudly at the words 'HMS Selkie' dimly emblazoned in an industrial print on the side of the vessel as we head inside. |

"Yes, I served as a part of the ship's troops on the HMS Leeds. She broke down a lot, she was one of the first airships Britain built during the war, so I usually had to work as a mechanic when the troops weren't in combat themselves". He explained eloquently. Gunveer examined the ship, touching the rusted hull. |
