A group of people, scattered across London, go about their daily lives, unknowing that soon they would all be embarking on an adventure together.

Gunveer scrambles around the engine room spinning wheels and articulating controls to make the internal working run like clockwork. "Everything seems good". He mumbled. The man checked the thermometer dial that measured the heat of the boiler. Reading the dial, Gunveer yelled across the intercom: "Boiler is at nominal temperature, Engineerig is ready for departure. Is the cargo secure in the hold?"

"I called for ya' three times," I growl at the kid, then Gunveer's message comes through. "Check the pressure," I say, then ask Chris if the cargo's secure.

"Pressure is," Gunveer paused and tightened some valves. "Nominal, sir".

"Cargo secure, release steam to the port and starboard engine until they're up to 75 RPM," I say into the intercom to engineering. I then turn to Chris. "Care to read off the manifest?" I ask, to make sure he done his work.

I nod, then switch the intercom to shipwide. "Our final crewmember has not shown. We will be departing for a test flight to the south coast of Wales shortly. Gunveer, keep those props at 75 RPM and stand by for further instructions." I switch off the intercom and turn on the radio, then confirm our departure and preflight list. Our bay doors open and I take the helm as we float into the air. I pull the intercom mic in front of me as we begin to move forward. "Increase throttle to 125 RPM. Stand by to drop ballast on my mark."
