Date: February, 1966 Our world is based loosely on the 'First Class' timeline, with borrowed elements from the other movies and comics alike. Read the movie synopsis here. (But if you haven't seen the movie, go see it. Seriously dude, you're missing out) Charles Xavier has returned to his home in Westchester, New York, and has already finalized the paperwork for turning the place into a certified school. All that remains is to make a few necessary structural adjustments, and to find students and teachers to fill the large building. He has begun work with Hank to develop a new Cerebro, hoping that its construction will offer an effective distraction from recent events. His team is steadily growing, and more missions are now being assigned to team leaders. Magneto has vanished, taking his Brotherhood with him. They are constantly on the move, Azazel's unique gifts making it impossible to accurately map and predict their movements. Two months after Cuba, an organized strike by the Brotherhood on a covert government laboratory briefly put them on the world news, but they were quick to fade back into obscurity again. Where they are now is a mystery, though Magneto is intent on recruiting mutants to his cause and will often show up in unexpected places. Edited by Magnus, Jan 28 2014, 06:35 PM.

A breaking news report has prompted immediate Brotherhood action. Magneto is currently assembling a team of his best recruits to investigate the explosions, with the primary goal being to track down the "unidentified male who reportedly threw fire from his hands." Their secondary goal includes determining the cause of the 'Bronx Explosions.' In response to a breaking news report, the X-Men have assembled as swiftly as possible to identify the cause of the explosions. Their primary goal is to collect data on the explosion site, with their secondary goal being to track down the "unidentified male who reportedly threw fire from his hands." They have also taken to talking with the locals in the area and 'Bronx Explosion' survivors regarding the event. Edited by Magnus, May 22 2013, 01:13 AM.

Tragedy has struck the Brotherhood. Magneto's base has been decimated by an unknown threat. Glimpses during the attack showed some kind of huge metal construct with heat-related weapons. Magneto himself was trapped in one of the deepest rooms in the underground base, and remains in a coma under the care of Xavier and the X-Men. The X-Men came to the aid of the Brotherhood a mere few hours after the implosion. They rescued the injured and removed the dead, and welcomed the surviving Brotherhood members into the school. |
