Holocaust Lego controversy
Holocaust Lego Details
Wikipedia - Zbigniew Libera
These are the sites I found. If you dont want to read it all here are a few extracts:

Quote:

As the founding chairman of the International Network of Children of Holocaust Survivors, Rosensaft asks: What can a Lego concentration camp mean, except that killing is child's play? What can one say about the Coke can picture except that it is a vulgar fabrication? Exhibiting them will be "a boon to skinheads," he says, because they "trivialize and demean the Holocaust and the sufferings of its victims."

Quote:

Each unit of the seven-box set contained a different aspect of a concentration camp. The larger boxes showed the entire concentration camp, with buildings, gallows (one showing an inmate being hanged), and inmates behind barbed wire or marching in line in and out of the camp.

Well okay nt the best quote but what do you think?

Personally I think its quite clever, and sends out several important messages.

There were only 3 sets ever made. Not for mass marketing. And it wouldnt be given to children - was just made using childrens toys. Plus the fact it was made in the 90s...

Lost in the pit of knowledge...never to be found
If it was mass produced and put on sale, it would only be as bad as video games depicting World War I or II.
Well slightly worse.
