Why won't that bimbo just sell me a whole bunch of mulch at once? I think I know why. She was probably the same code running the shop in Final Fantasy. I remember laying in supplies for the second run in the Earth Cave, the one that mattered, and hitting up the shop to buy potions. I remember being greeted by the friendly shop keeper, who would sell you as many potions as your heart desired (Up to 99) but only one at a time. I swear I spent more time buying potions than running through the dungeons.

Well, what with the updates and ports and all, you can now buy potions from the shiny new shopkeeper in quantity, which made the old shopkeeper very sad and very poor. She took to the streets, and eventually fell into the pit of drug abuse. However she annoyed her dealers with her bad habit of buying only one hit off them at a time, and eventually they stopped selling to her.

With thoughts of ending it all in her head, one day she happened to vomit on the shoes of a Nintendo exec, who put her in touch with some people, and now she sells mulch in Pokemon. Which just goes to show that you never know when things are going to go your way.

There's a lesson in there somewhere, you figure it out.
