I don't see how you can't have a one-way relationship with a non-living thing...
the one way part. That kinda wrecks it.
Teddy bears.
at least the teddy bear lasts longer.
So? It's unorganic, and therefore unable to hold up a relationship. <And in a poof of logic, all teddy bears in existance disappeared.>
a teddy bear is unable to hold a relationship. some children may think they have a relationship with the bear, but really, they just have a relationship with their imagination channeled at the bear.
What caused you to becoem a machine bereft of all emotion?
the borg queen. you can't have a relationship with food, unless it can respond back to you. end of story.

Comfort food. Teddy bears. Immaginary friends. Cars. Pretty much anything.
Your logic=fail.

pure logic=fail. Leave some room for sheer insanity. It usually works when logic doesn't.

Why do some people talk to their cars? Why do children have teddy bears? Why do people turn to foods (mine is toast and cheese spread) from their childhood which they associate good memories to when feeling sad?
ur logic=not what millions of others think.

That's just a convoluted way of saying the child has a relationship with the bear. EVERYTHING is channeled through the mind; why mark it as the endpoint when you can go to the source?

I stand that you can't truly have a relationship with food. it's food. its purpose is to be eaten. trying to forge a relationship with it is a waste of time, and you should be concentrating on relationships with real people.

It's not how much time that it lasts that matters; it's the amount of effort you put in.
