Natsu is a very determined person. He treats every fight as if it was his last. His friends hold a special spot in his heart, and he'll do anything to save them. He can be rather thick at times, but even if his stupidity gets him in a pickle, he doesn't back down. Natsu keeps things to himself when it comes to personal feelings, or secerts that he himself has kept.

Natsu is a young fire user. His favored style of fighting is relentless attacking...but Natsu isn't completely stupid. His abilities to control any fire is outstanding for his age, and being young, Natsu overdoes almost everything he attempts. Natsu uses hand-to-hand combat and ranged fire spells while he fights. He wears a fine looking padded armour under an explorer's style of clothing. He carries a brown leather backpack with a bedroll on the top of it. He has a few leather belt pouches about his waist which seem to be in desired locations for convenience. His left hand has a glove with a signet ring on his middle finger, which has a small emblem on it. His right hand has a glove on it, the red ruby shimmering brightly. Natsu's boots seem fit even for an athlete.

Occupation:
Self employed

Undecided

History:
Natsu Shikimori grew in a small village of Fire Tribe Nibel. His father, Simon Shikimori, was a town guard and his mother, Kurikio Shikimori (madien name; Alabastor) made a living selling homemade blankets and clothing for the others in their village. Natsu began training on learning to control his magc at a rather young age. Within weeks, Natsu could easily use his magic quite well in non-combat situations. To Natsu's father this wasn't enough. His father trained Natsu day in and day out to become a capable fighter. This meant no childhood for Natsu at all during his days as a youngling. The older Natsu got, the more vigorous his training became. About the age of 70, Simon Shikimori grew quite ill. So ill in fact, it put him close to his death bed. Natsu grew heavily depressed when this took place. For days, Natsu would kneel at his father's bedside and watch over him, hoping that one day his father's health would return. Month's passed by, and Simon's health never improved. One day, an old doctor visited the Shikimori family, telling them of how he heard that a man was seriously ill and had been for months. The doctor didn't think it was an acctual illness, but a curse that had been pourposly placed. Natsu's curiousity overcame him and he listened intently to the doctor's lecture of curses. When the doctor confirmed that Simon had indeed been cursed, Natsu's anger began to flow through him, and he began asking many questions on how to release this curse from his father. The doctor gave all the answers he could, but none of which Natsu could actually aclomplish. After the doctor left, Natsu began to discuss the matter of return his father to normal with his mother. As much as Kurikio wanted her husband to be well, she couldn't bear the thought of her young, inexperianced son out in the world by himslef. Dispite his mother's worries, Natsu set off to find a healer able to lift the curse. His journey took him halfway across Baleguin. Across the sands of Tokai, through the bustling cities of Ivalice, and up the high mountins of Akai. In Akai, Natsu found an old druid capable of lifting the curse, or so the rumors in the villages below the mountian have told. Natsu and the druid conversed, but the druid didn't accept Natsu's demands so easily. For the druid to lift the curse, Natsu had to return a heirloom that had been taken from his hut while the druid was away. The 'old man', as Natsu had began calling him, gave no futher information about the whereabouts of the heirloom. The druid told Natsu that it was his responsability to find the heirloom. Natsu scoffed before setting off to find this item. Natsu spent years scouring the mountians villages and the mountians themsleves. He learned how to survive on his own, protect himself from the cold, and even found small riches from bandits hiding away in the mountianous region. Still he found nothing. Then, while Natsu had stopped in a village to get a drink and possible bed for the night, a young female with a strange pendant walked into the inn that Natsu had chosen. She had blonde hair and green eyes. she seemed to be 5'2" in height and and a gentle voice that seemed comfoting to Natsu. As she spoke to the innkeeper, Natsu overheard them talking about a druid up in the mountians. They also mentioned how the girl went up there recently to visit and spend time with the hermit. natsu gave a smirk and walked up to the young female. he expalined to her what his goals were and who gave them to him. He then asked the girl to come with him to the druid's hut the following day. She agreed whilst skipping off to bed. The next day, Natsu and the girl made their way to the druid's house. When they got there, the druid gave a small chuckle and congradulated Natsu on finding the heirloom. Natsu was at first confused, and then he remembered the pendant around the girl's neck. The druid gave a laugh and began chanting softly. All this time...and he could've told me that it was around someone's neck. Natsu didn't complain as he had learned a great deal of knowlegde from his search. There was a loud clap and the druid's chanted ceased. "Return now, Natsu Shikimori, for your long awaited goal has been fulfilled. Take these word into account...you have untapped power Natsu, and one day it will become unlocked. Go now." Natsu became overwhelmed with joy at these words. He gave a bow of thanks and took off sprinting home. Natsu never did stop sprinting. He used most of his magic to keep him going so he could make it home as fast as he could. Natsu was 83 when he made it back to the village. Many of the children had grew up since he had left, but everything was the same. He burst into his house hoping to see his father standing or walking, but to his surprise, his father still layed in bed. Kurikio burst into tears when she saw her son, finally someone to keep her company after these long 13 years. They embraced for a moment before Natsu ended up at his father's bedside once more. "This can't be...all that effort...all that determination. and this is the outcome! I cannot accpet that!" Natsu began to sob heavily. Then a deep voice rang through the room; "Is this what I taught my son? To cry like a little baby?" Natsu looked up slowly into his father's eyes. They were open! The two embraced in a father-son hug. Soon after, they were both up and training like they once did. Kurikio was happier than ever, back to making and selling clothing. More time passed, and Natsu was able to set out on his own once more, this time with no heavy burdens on his chest.
