So basic idea I have involves a quasi Edwardian era game that can exist as any of the old world splats or new world splats with exception to geist, promethian, wraith as I don't know enough about them to say whether it would work for them.

Recommended Games: Vtm/R, Mta/Aw, Wtf(with modifications), Dtf/tD (quasi cthuluesq if this is what is chosen, HtR/V

Difficulty Scale 1-10 with 1 being why bother and 10 being oh god why.

Lethality: 4 to start climbing to a 8
Ease of Access: 5
Puzzles/Mysteries/Guesswork: 5
Things to keep track of on the backside: 6

The plot involves a seeming evaporation of a ley line and its effects on a small city in the Eastern Coast of the United States. although a place such as Bristol would Suffice for our UK people to reference.

Strange Occurances

For starters the spiritual area surrounding the city would start becoming a dead zone, short term smaller animals and insects die faster and don't grow as big. Next come the larger gardens and finally the ocean near the city wouldn't bear fruit anymore so to speak.

Natural selection would cause some of these creatures to take on their primordial forms as a kind of genetic throwback and you would basically have a Dire form of the creatures at hand.

WHY ITS HAPPENING
A upstart alchemist sorceror has been dabbling with augmenting his magic via ley lines and had grown too greedy. This sorceror has forged a philosopher's stone but much like the Full metal version, it leeched life to do it and has the energy of this leg of the ley line contained in it. It's aura masks the deadzone atmosphere for a time until it has drawn in too much and infants start dying.
