The problem being a 21st century vampire? Sure, there were numerous jobs open, and naturally there was the ability to charm the next Jane or John Doe into thinking you were there friend, and leave them for easy disposal in a million different places without repercussions. So what was Vynz’s major complaint? The dang cult following of Twilight Nazis. It was if his race were a much sought after race of pleasure by humans now. It was ridiculous to see all the girls and guys with fake fangs, weird contacts, among other things. It took away from the impact of the real thing. Once more, why complain? Well, he had been around for centuries, and he remembered the way it was before that weird Meyers lady, not to mention what’s her face, Bowlings? Who cares, between the two of them, all the mystery and magic of his race had been dispelled. ( Tolkien hadn’t helped either, but he really didn’t hurt, either.) So, here was Vynz watching the dancers upon the stage, or more precisely the newbie on stage. She just didn’t seem human… then again, she could be one of those Twilight Cult Nazis…. Or TCNs as he tended to call them…. Sighing, he merely slid the glass down the bar as he continued to keep a close eye on the odd newcomer. Suri smiled as she slid about the pole with her silky smooth little dress, spinning about with ease. It was a sincere respectable club, dancing yes, clothes? Definitely. They girls would get thrown out without such. It was merely entertainment for the gentlemen. Suri smiled as she watched an over drunken patron be removed from her little dancing disc, humming along as she tried to forget why she moved here. I only think in the form of crunching numbers. Spin, climb, loosing to the rhythm of her dance. Ain’t gotta care in the world. Slip, backbend, crawl and climb. Your some kind of freak, aren’t you? As the song came to an end, Suri blocked all the rest from her mind as she made her way backstage and up towards her studio apartment upstairs. **********************Brought to my attention I never posted her appearance, here are the basics.***********Ice blue/Violet eyes, Blonde/Gold/Red hair. (( dominantely blonde, gold and red highlights.))...... Straight, just past shoulders. this hair cut style http://www.buzzle.com/img/articleImages/400597-4087-53.jpg |

((ROFLMAO!! TREE!! You just live to screw with me. XD)) Vynz was currently waiting for a woman to speak. Even better, it was one of those annoying socialite wannabe's that spent ten minutes talking while throwing a single word at the bartender like he was a useless bystander. He frowned internally and then went on to prove that he didn't care for the situation. "Listen, Lady. If you want someone to talk to, you are going to have to go kidnap someone. I really don't care about your pet poodle, and I don't think that anyone else does either. Order something and leave." Notice that was 'and', not 'or'. The bottle blonde looked far taken aback but then stammered out a response. "A Short Trip To Hell." I'm already there. He pulled out the schnapps bottles and other whatnot, pouring the drink with offhanded flourish. Half an hour left before dawn and the official closing time of the bar... |

As the bar was emptied of all occupants, Suri stretched slowly was she wondered to the bar, just to get a soda with extra cherries in it, before heading back up to her apartment, after all, a bar, right downstairs, where you can get drinks for free? Why not? " I wanna pepsi with lots of cherries, please." She purred, covering a small yawn as she leaned on the bar, watching the bouncers leave, not to mention security, and the manager. |

Vynz glanced up from where he had been polishing the wood of his bar. Well... it was kind of his bar. He and his sister shared it, though he tended more to the hands-on downstairs. Evynna was more the hands-off business stuff. In fact, this girl had probably run the renting through Evynna. "Alright, new girl." The man pulled up a glass and tossed in some ice and a lot of cherries - even down to the one he stuck on the end of her straw. Barkeep habits die hard. He went back to polishing the bar. "Night went well?" |

Suri smiled and nodded, slurping on her soda a moment, thinking about taking her drink upstairs, but then there was that habit of dragging the glass, all the way back downstairs to get washed, and... Ugh. Sigh, she merely decided to set down, glancing to the all but blacked out and boarded windows. Even the owner seemed to hate sunlight. One thing she wasn't sure of, about most people here, was there complete distaste for sunlight. |

Vynz didn't look up at all. He was washing dishes instead. "Where you from, new girl?" |

Suri hesitated before glancing back down to her drink. " I moved back to England after being in Japan for three years." She replied simply as she continued at her soda, eyeing Vynz. Something about him was throwing her off in a way only a few other people here did, and it wasn't making her comfortable. |

Vynz did look up at her now, but only for a minute. Three years... This was a cursory glance to appraise how old she was. "Alright. Fair enough." He gestured to the glass she was drinking out of. "That'll be three bucks plus gratuity." But then he flashed her a joking grin and dried off the next glass. Test two? |

Suri grinned, shaking her head and looking over as another dancer, drunk, with obvious hickies, stumbled out the side door. Cringing, Suri looked to her glass. There was a reason she was the type of dancer she was. she didn't want to be that kind of girl... |

Vynz squatted down out of sight as he began to put the glasses back to where they belonged. "I wouldn't suggest following her." Clank. Clank. "Do you know the area, new girl?" Oh the layers of meaning. |

" Suri. " She corrected absently, now happily eating her cherries in the bottom of her icy, empty glass. " Sort of. I've only been here a week." She replied honestly, sucking on a cherry at the moment, trying to get all the sherry-sodaness off of it. |

Vynz stood up now. "Sergio's on 42nd street has fantastic cherry pie. And apple. And bread pudding in the winter. Bet you didn't know that." He began picking up the bottles of alcohol and pulled out his keyring, carrying them all back into the refrigerated storage room. |

Suri nodded, smiling slightly, watching him leave and muttering a minor rambling under her breath, flicking her wrist slightly. Yep, glass was full again, and she was slurping her soda once more. Sure, she could have gone behind teh counter, and used the fountain... but that was so much work. |

Vynz came back and locked up the last of the cabinets, turning to take the... full glass? He paused and looked up at her, raising a brow. "Don't let the boss catch you behind the counter." He walked out from behind the bar and tossed his stuff into his locker. |
