Vy's face fell into a very curious expression. The emotion behind it couldn't be exactly pinpointed, but it was obviously not a good one. She shut the door behind her now.

"...He disappeared with 'mono' at the same time you went wherever you went. You're telling me that's completely unconnected coincidence?"

" OH! he just didn't......... wanna... deal... with... ..... you."

She tried to explain simply, feeling awkward telling her boss that her other boss didn't wanna deal with them.

Vy's mouth twitched slightly with an almost-smile.

"Do you have any siblings, Suri?" She gestured offhandedly as she realized that she was getting off-topic.

"Never mind. I figured that. But he hasn't been to his house for three days and I can't find him in any of his normal haunts. That's what is concerning me. I can't find him. But if you didn't do anything to him, then I guess I'll leave you to your business." She walked back to the door, giving Suri a skeptical glance before opening it. Vy wasn't sure that she believed this was all just coincidence, but Suri seemed sincere...

Suri merely shrugged and laid upon her bed, wondering what on earth could have happened to the lonely bored young vampire, such as Vynz. To her, it made little sense as well, eyes wondering the ceiling as her brain attempted to understand.

Vynz sat in the edge of the room, frowning deeply as the scent of the earth enveloped him. He hated the underground. Honestly, he only knew one vampire that didn't mind underground, but she was a fruitcake anyhow. For the moment he was alone, which was a small relief. But just that, only a small one. He was trapped, despite the door in the corner. Not to mention, he wanted to kill that crazy creature that came and went. But he couldn't. That was his only hope at this point, seeing as Vynz didn't believe in luck. He got up and kicked the dirt wall.

By the next day, Vy had come to the conclusion that Vynz was dead. To her, he would remain as such unless he returned. Time to hire a new bartender...

suri sighed, not sure what to think the next two days, and was soon outside, walking the streets, trying to figure out what on earth had happened to that man. She didn't care enough to make herself sick, but enough to look.

Vynz roared at the horrible little creature who was now holding not one but three needles.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT, YOU INSUFFERABLE URCHIN?! STOP POKING ME!" The little man just laughed in his chittering way.

"Big man temper down!
Figures nothing with a frown!"

And then he scurried away, leaving Vynz to his own again, seething with absolute frustration. This wasn't one of those things you could just let slide off your back. So he sat there, listening to the muffled sounds of construction above, trying to ignore the scent of the storm drains that had rushed in through the open door.

Tawni opened one eye glanced down from where she was hanging by a rope around her throat in another alleyway.

"Huh? Oh! Sorceress chick! Hey!" The girl then proceeded to pull at a stitch, both her body and her head falling to the ground in separate pieces.

"What's up?" The head spoke as the body ambled around, trying to find it.

" My partner has gone missing, and I get the odd feeling foul play was involved, so that leads me to where is he? Not why, not even who, but where? I could careless about the other two questions..."

she explained simply.

Tawni's eyes drifted to watching her body as she spoke.

"Dude, that stinks. Happened to me once. Except it was my ear that went missing. It was foul play, though. A creeper took it at a rave." By this point the body had picked up her head and was pulling her hair out of the way and reuniting the two parts. The girl thought for a moment, speaking as she tied the string at her neck.

"So... then I'm guessing you've checked the usual places and vampire hunk isn't there. And if he hasn't shown up... Have you checked places with a lot of dirt? Like a grave? Or the sewers? You know they hate that whole being-buried thing. I wouldn't think that it would be easy to get him down there, and I can't imagine what would keep him down there, but it might explain why you can't find him."

" I thought you might be helpful."

Suri mussed, nodding slightly without any reservations, wondering off towards the local sewer access.

Tawni followed after her.

"Tada? I think?" The zombie slipped into the sewer without problem at the scent. Interesting fact: zombies have no sense of smell.

Suri merely glanced about, sighing as she wrinkled her nose, soon wondering off into the tunnels.

Tawni walked along with her.

"Hey, I know the hobos that lived in that tunnel back there."

Vynz was livid. He looked like he had just underwent some horrible acupuncture accident. There were tiny little needles sticking out of his skin as he held the creature by the scruff of his neck.

"I SHOULD MURDER YOU! SUCK OUT YOUR BLOOD AND POUR IT OVER YOUR ENTRAILS AS I HANG THEM FOR DECORATIONS IN MY HOME!"
