Vynz glanced down at the phone and then gave a half grin. "That's Evynna for you." He drained the blood and sighed, letting his head rest against the wooden wall. The vampire could feel it spread through his body, a very faint pulse pushing it along. He closed his bright blue eyes, though he spoke again after a minute or two. "Is your collar feeling okay? I didn't infect you, did I?" |

suri shrugged slightly. " You didn't harm me. You'd literally have to drain all but a gallon or so from me before I'd feel the effects of your venom, and you'd feel effects of mine long before then. My blood go laced when I finally hit Sorceress." she explained softly, looking over the man, hoping he was going to be alright. " You should rest. My collar is nearly healed." She added the last on as an after thought, as he had asked. |

"Do you mind if I stay here? I give you my undying word that this day you would be safe from any undue advance on my part." That was binding. So, even if she said no, she still had the promise. Vynz didn't even open his eyes. He was tired. Generally fine, but exhausted. And being so high and separated from the earth was a fantastic feeling. |

suri moved, taking her things from the bed, and letting him lay down, merely setting on the other side and reading a book, without a comment to his vow. " I expected you to. I don't expect to let you free until I know your alright." |

Vynz nodded faintly and lay there for a while. After a bit he then stood up, pulling one of the doors to her wardrobe slightly ajar. He liked sleeping in enclosed spaces best - thus the design of his bed - and he blamed on the fact that he spent forever in a coffin. Don't misunderstand. he was perfectly capable of getting a good night's rest in an open space, but given the choice... It was very strange what happened next. He flicked his wrists and leaned down at the same time. And then a white bat flew into her wardrobe. Vynz hung in the corner from the rod inside. He intended to sleep like that. |

Looking to her closet, she smiled, faintly, and returned to her reading, not minding the bat that kept her company, eyes closing after a while. |

Vynz was quite happy hanging there and sleeping. It was nice and cool and dark in the wardrobe. And he got time to recuperate. |

Suri woke in the middle of the night, moving and shutting the little door so she could change into her proper night gown, then opened it once more, slipping into her bed, under the covers, snuggling down to sleep more contently. |

Vynz was startled awake, but he didn't freak out. As the door opened again, he simply readjusted on the railing and went back to sleep. In fact, he was probably going to sleep away half of the next day, if Suri would let him. Needless to say, he hadn't slept well down there. |

Vynz was asleep through the whole ordeal, so it didn't really matter. However, as she began to work on her new spell, the bat did fly out of the wardrobe. After a minute, it latched on to her sleeve near the elbow, just laying there and watching. He was curious. |

Suri smiled and left the bat be as she reached for the jar and then stopped, looking over Vynz before removing two solitary hairs and dropping them into the tiny bubbling pot before her, continuing. She was actually making a potion that required spell casting, but still. it was new, and it'd be awesome if it worked. |

The bat squeaked and flew off of her arm. As it reached back to the corner of the room, it changed back into the man. "Ow. You couldn't even give me some warning?" However, he was obviously too busy watching to be upset. Not that he was one for splitting hairs anyhow... ((I'm on a roll tonight)) "What are you doing?" |

" Attempting a new potion." She replied simply, reading the last few details of the incantation, then making a few minor modification to the ingredients. ... If her calculations were right, she's have a star in a bottle when she was done. If everything was right. " Hopefully it works. I need more of this, and it cost a quarter of a million to buy one." |

Vynz watched curiously. "That'll burn a hole in your pocket." |
